All Welcome
There was something about the smell in the air that drew Niamh to the coastline and away from the lands which were far more familiar to her. The wind seemed to get stronger and stronger the closer she got, and the smell on the air wasn't altogether unpleasant, but still kind of...Off. Not like something she'd eat, or something that had gone rotten, but just...Different, and she couldn't quite place it. Having never seen the ocean before, and having never really been told much about it, she was quite awestruck when she finally broke free of the closed, forested wilderness and looked out over an endless body of water.

It smelled very strongly of whatever it was it smelled of; she couldn't get over how much water there was, and she'd seen some fairly large lakes- but nothing like this. Maybe the water was marshy, and that's why it smelled off- but it looked much deeper than marsh waters...She tried to piece things together but her thoughts were interrupted by a low, rumbling sound, which drew her eyes down the shoreline to a sight that made her pause for a moment- before she began to laugh out loud.

Unable to believe her eyes, she bounded forward toward the sandy beach, and leapt atop a boulder to look down the beach at the large, oddly shaped things that were making rumbly noises at one another, but not moving very much. They had no hind legs- and not really front legs either- they looked more like sturdy fish fins than anything. There was something strange about the shape of their heads as well- glistening, beady black eyes that were almost too close together, and a heavily whiskered but short snout. She could see canines in their mouths, which indicated they were meat eaters- but why would something so aquatic-looking come up on the shore?

She continued to laugh and dipped into a play bow. "Hey, hey you!" she called out, hoping to get some attention, but she was all but ignored. "Hey! Legless...Fat-dogs! What are you?" She called out again, amidst a good belly laugh. She settled her hind end down again, and continued to chuckle as she watched the sea lions basking in the sun on the shore. She set her head on her paws, and started scheming...Just how close could she get to one of those things?

[LAUNCHES SELF AT JESS!THREAD]

Coelacanth is in the first phase of her heat and is NOT considered fertile. “During proestrus, the start of the estrous cycle, the bitch attracts male dogs, but is still not receptive to breeding.” This phase will last through April 20, 2018.

The atramentous sheepdog frolicked across the drawbridge to her water-wreathed citadel, a spiced restlessness in her paws, hot like the sting of cinnamon on the tip of one’s tongue. Her elegant head turned this way and that as she bounded ashore, swerving erratically to gather armfuls of seawater in a cavorting series of leaps; she was Aquarius, a water bearer with the aspect of air, and the water turned her feathery pelage to cephalopod ink. She moved not with single-minded purpose but with the flickering evanescence of a will-o’-the-wisp, and when the sound of laughter teased at her, tufted ears sweeping westward to celebrate it fully, she chased it.

Catlike paws blurred fluidly into a canter with flying lead changes on every stride; she appeared to be skipping as she made her way toward the mirthful laughter that had turned to cheerful, even mischievous shouting. The little wolfdog perked visibly, though she wasn’t certain if she’d been seen — her feathered tail flagged the air eagerly and her tufted ears popped atop her crown like fat, upside-down exclamation points as she made her approach. The stranger was doelike and feminine, tall and slender, with whitewater-pale fur and warm butterscotch accents. She was utterly unfamiliar to the Aralez, so Seelie wasted no time in making her own intentions known:

“Hello! I am friendly!” bespoke the dipped-down shimmy of her gamine shoulders. She mirrored the younger female’s posture, dropping to her belly in the sand and wriggling forward like an inky caterpillar with her chin pressed to her catlike paws, tufted ears smoothing against her skull as her Neptune eyes arched in a shy, cheerful expression. When she was still far enough to make a getaway if the blonde beauty appeared opposed to company, the Groenendael stopped and whuffed, granules of sand gusting from her quivering nares, gentle visage writ with curiosity.

ooc: Yeee! :D Thanks for joining! Also- how do people do that OOC writing thing? I haven't quite figured that one out yet, but it looks so much better than just saying "OOC" and having things not indented and blah.

IC:
For some reason, the legless fat-dogs seemed completely oblivious to her presence; maybe they'd seen lots of wolves before, or maybe they just didn't care. They definitely had that sort of top predator confidence, as they clearly weren't worried about her being a danger whatsoever...Which was odd, given the fact that she knew she could totally out-maneuver one of those on land. This, of course, implied that she should make a challenge for herself- see just how close she could get to these fat, odd things. Maybe she could even make a snack out of one of the pups- there were a few around, and surely she could get close enough to one of those without the parent being able to get at her. Maybe she could even grab its odd flipper-tail thing in her teeth without it being able to reach around and bite her back...

She ran her tongue over her teeth at the mere thought of it, but abandoned her scheming for a moment, when another figure caught her attention- a small black wolf with the silkiest coat she'd ever seen, was on her way closer, moving with an odd but still very graceful gait that she reminded herself she'd have to try later- just change lead every stride, she thought, making a mental note of the technique. The pretty female dipped into a play-bow and wriggled her shoulders, causing Niamh to smile and wave her tail from side to side. She offered a chipper bark in return, and gave a slight upwards jerk with her chin, beckoning the stranger to join her. She looked harmless enough- and Niamh was fairly certain that even if things did go sour, she had quite a size advantage. Like the legless fat-dogs, she wasn't concerned her compant would hurt her whatsoever.

"You know what those things are?" She asked, "I mean, aside from ridiculous. They don't even have legs!" She said, wiggling her shoulders and trying to imagine what it would feel like. "They just kind of drag their fat bodies around...I wanna see how close I can get." She said, and coyly gave the pretty, blue-eyed female a coy glance. "You in?"

You type [ ooc ] blah blah ~ [ / ooc ] without the spaces. ^^

The butterscotch-and-cream female’s bark acted as a starting pistol — it cracked through the din in tandem with the upward quirk of her chin, and Seelie fairly levitated in her joy to get closer. She was always playful but had been unusually so lately, and she scooted to a stop alongside the younger female with a decisive nod. If the girl allowed it, Coelacanth would bump hips with her as she wriggled with equal fervor, swallowing a few times to moisten her hollow throat before offering in a frail whisper: “Sea lions.” She wished her uncle was here to tell one of Kirynnae’s famous sea lion stories, but in lieu of them she bounced where she stood and slanted her taller compatriot an arch-eyed smile. Tail wagging vigorously, “In,” the sheepdog affirmed in a silky susurrus.

There was just one caveat.

“No kill,” she begged hopefully, her tufted ears falling back against her skull in shy entreaty. Between the two of them, a sea lion pup would be an easy enough meal, but Kirynnae’s softhearted granddaughter just couldn’t get behind breaking such a deeply ingrained tradition.

Sea lions? Niamh didn't know what lions were, so the whole concept of there being sea lions was lost on her. "They're weird," She commented idly, but was pleased nonetheless that her companion had known what the creatures were called. She gazed at them, her eager companion at her side, before she cast the smaller, doe-like female a glance. She was kind of exotic, for a wolf, with those long, tufted ears, silky fur and deep arch to her ribcage, but nonetheless very pretty, especially with her large, doleful eyes. She said she was in, but timidly, beseechingly, she made one request.

Niamh wasn't entirely sure, at first, why they couldn't kill one. These were predators- that she could tell by the shape of the teeth she'd seen when one had yaned- but that didn't mean  they couldn't be eaten. Niamh was almost always hungry, and she saw absolutely no reason why one of the smaller sea lions couldn't be a good snack, assuming they could get close enough to touch one without getting bitten and dragged into the water. The only reason compelling her to agree was simply because of the way her companion had asked her, begging her with that soulful gaze. She shrugged one blonde shoulder and gently bumped her hips against the swarthy ones beside her, and nodded. "No kill. Gotcha."

She jumped down off the boulder she'd been perched on, and began to walk in a semi-circle around the animals, looking them over and trying to pick out one that she figured might be easy to touch. She was regarded with wary, black eyes, and she huffed in response. Some seemed to take no notice of her- but the younger ones seemed a bit unsettled. It looked like there was no other option but to try and touch one of the bigger ones, as they didn't seem to deem her a threat. Casting a glance over her shoulder, she nodded- and began to sneak forward, meandering this way and that, nose down, as though to say "I'm not interested in you, just looking for something on the ground," to the sea lions- as if they would understand.

Satisfied with their agreement, Coelacanth trotted alongside her taller companion, looking up at her as a dog in the show ring might regard her handler — but she realized belatedly that such closeness would be counterproductive when it came to subterfuge. After a beat, she broke rank and busied herself at the water’s edge, sneaking surreptitious glances at the leggy blonde. In Seelie’s experience, sea lions were mostly nice if you gave them space, and some of the littler ones looked very soft and warm. When it came to food storage, though, they were terribly rude.

Anyway, the sheepdog wasn’t entirely sure why the unnamed she-wolf seemed to think such stealth was necessary, but she enjoyed the game regardless! One of the bigger bulls fixed a suspicious eye on the atramentous ingénue and she darted a few harmless paces away to appease him, making a ruckus in the shallows as though she was grappling with a sizable fish. Perhaps this would distract some of the creatures long enough to satisfy her new friend. She hoped so!

The sound of splashing not only distracted a few of the sea lions, but Niamh as well. What a good idea, she thought- use one wolf as a diversion while the other could get closer. She continued to meander this way and that, pausing every time she got noticed with a sparkling, dark eye to inspect a shell or rock that happened to be nearby. She didn't like the smell of a lot of this stuff- there was something kind of off about it, and when she licked one of the shells she found, she crinkled her nose in disgust- salty things were definitely not her jam.

She eventually made her way closer to a group of adults who weren't the least bit concerned in anything a wolf was up to- their eyes were closed and they seemed lost in the bliss of sunbathing. One gave a chuff that caused Niamh to sidestep away for a moment, but it wasn't chuffing at her, but a youngster who'd bumped up against its flank...If you could call it a flank, anyway. Giving Coelacanth a sideways glance and a toothy grin, she paused for a moment before she darted in.

It was only a couple bounds that separated her from the sea lions, and her quick movements were noticed- but just as she predicted, the creatures were clumsy and slow-moving on the land. She was able to give one of the sea lions a good bork in the side with the blunt tip of her nose and leap away before it flailed out with one flipper, missing her by several feet. Several of them opened their mouths and made an odd roaring sound as she trotted away, circling closer to Coelacanth and giving her friend a wink. "Your turn!"

Coelacanth continued to make a fuss at the shoreline until it seemed the pinnipeds had grown desensitized to her antics. Before she could select a new weapon of mass distraction, though, the cream-and-caramel female began making her move. “Watch this!” she seemed to say, a mischievous grin splitting her maw as her honey-bright eyes twinkled intently; and Seelie was all too happy to do just that, dropping to her belly in a sphinx-like crouch. “Go for it!” she encouraged wordlessly, a low, excited whuff puffing her cheeks. The Groenendael laughed outright as the ballsy she-wolf butted her nose into one of the sea lions’ rounded flanks and neatly leapt away, easily avoiding the clumsy swat of one expansive flipper. “That was great!” bespoke the Aralez’s eager cerulean eyes. She tipped back her muzzle and “howled” her congratulations, making her impediment plain — rather than a silvery melody, a prolonged, barely audible sigh trailed from her lips.

“Your turn!” chirped the elegant nymph with a saucy wink, and Coelacanth hopped to her feet. Oh, she hoped she wouldn’t embarrass herself in front of her new friend!

Sprightly paws executed a quick pirouette as Seelie readied herself. She appreciated the younger wolf’s daredevil nature, gleaning from it a sense of transferred bravado and a fair helping of nostalgia as well. She and Amoxtli had come here soon after their arrival in the Teekons.

Amoxtli, she was sure, would know what to do about the situation in the Rainsong Labyrinth — but he was far away, back home, learning to live his own life and finding out what he truly wanted to do. Coelacanth shook her head to clear it of these distractions, bouncing her frail weight from paw to paw and then showing her new friend what she did best: herding and cutting.

She began to pace at first, eyes trained on the rookery and its inhabitants. The sea lions who’d been roused during the butterscotch female’s turn were alerted to her machinations, so she trotted around to the other side. The pacing turned into coy circles, and the circling ended up with a lightning-quick sweep of her paws as she darted boldly in, nipped harmlessly at the edge of one flipper, and hightailed it away with one of the cows hot on her heels. Gathering herself like a gymnast before a tumbling pass, she bounced on her toes and sprinted in, neatly running a circle around the cow before returning to Niamh’s side. The effect was something of a good-natured delinquent reconvening with her partner-in-crime. “We’d better run!” was the gist of her fox-fine muzzle, burrowing briefly in the cream undercoat at the taller female’s withers.

Maybe it wasn’t totally necessary to flee, but running on the beach sure felt good!

Now that it was Coelacanth's turn, Niamh waited in a half-crouch in the ankle deep water, watching her friend as she made her way closer to the sea lions. The few that were closer to her seemed to watch her warily, after she'd poked one of them earlier- but at least they didn't make any moves toward her. Coelacanth's moves were quick and graceful, and each and every movement the sea lions made seemed to be noticed, and she danced in and out as though in some kind of duet with the awkward creatures. This couldn't have been Seelie's first time doing this- she was way too good at it!

Finally she made her move, and nipped at a flipper before she circled around the sea lion cow and then sped back toward Niamh, who jigged sideways, giggling at her friend's touch before she barked at the sea lions who'd chosen, then, to head back to the water after being offended twice by the wolves...And the two of them were between the herd- or whatever you called the group of them- and the water. "Go go go!" Niamh laughed, sprinting through the shallows along the shore, tail still curled high above her back in excitement. There was no way the sea lions could catch them, but thr thought of it was still quite fun.

Once they'd made it down the shore, far enough away from the sea lions that they disappeared from sight in the water and the fog, Niamh glanced over at her friend, and nipped playfully at the air between them, before dancing sideways and away, just in case there was some sort of playful retaliation- which her body language clearly invited.

Coelacanth tossed her head like a spirited filly as she sped down the beach at Niamh’s side, egged on by the leggy blonde’s, “Go, go, go!” She wove in and out of the shallows, kicking up sea spray, her feathered tail acting as a rudder as she darted this way and that. Breathless with excitement, she slowed when the honey-eyed daredevil did, whuffing in an exhilarated manner.

The wicked glint in Niamh’s eyes clued the atramentous sheepdog in to the fact that their play was far from over, and she splayed her willowy forelimbs into a sloppy crouch, hips wiggling eagerly as she bounced away from the soft click of the younger female’s incisors. Seelie drew the deepest breath she could, shimmying sideward with a scooping motion of her forelimbs akin to an American football player snapping the ball at the start of a play, and let out her deepest, most impressive growl. By any canid’s standards, it was a pathetic attempt — due to her impediment, it emerged as a kittenish ticking more than anything else — but her tail flagged wildly with excitement.

With no time to waste, Coelacanth made her retaliating lunge. Her Neptune eyes were wide and wild as she darted in, but her body language was loose and easy, and she was clearly “pulling her punches” — canting her head to the side, tufted ears snapped back against her skull she surged forward in an attempt to tag the other girl’s hip with her nose. Velveteen flews were tipped up at the corners, tongue lolling as her fox-fine muzzle parted in a silly dog smile.

phone post gahhhhh...I have no wifi but I couldn’t help myself XD

A slight whisper was all that her counterpart offered in terms of a playful growl, which clued Niamh into the fact that perhaps this female either only chose to speak quietly, or couldn’t speak loudly due to some physical reason. Whatever the case, Niamh didn’t care; it made her all the more endearing and easy to like. It gave her a sort of shy, childlike innocence that was incredibly becoming.

Coelacanth made a motion toward her near hip with her fine muzzle, and with a laugh, Niamh decided to lean into the gesture, rather than dart away. Of course, snouts were sensitive, so she didn’t aim to bash her broad end into Coelacanth’s muzzle hard enough to hurt her- and fighting butt-first wasn’t exactly a standard tactic, but she wanted to see what sort of effect she’d have, just for giggles.

The sound Coelacanth made was something that emulated what sneezing into the bell of a French horn might sound like — a muted, stuttered hitch of her breath inward before she sneezed reflexively, the current of air blowing an audible raspberry against Niamh’s plush haunch.

Seelie burst into laughter almost immediately, tossing her head in mock-indignation that couldn’t even begin to mask the merry expression that wreathed her delicate features. “Hey! Come back here so I can do that again!” she seemed to say, bounding forward with as ferocious a boof as she could muster. This time, she parted her jaws, keeping her fangs tucked harmlessly behind her velveteen flews — and she dove low and lateral, trying to mouth teasingly at the girl’s hock.

Niamh laughed merrily when the fur of her hip tickled Coelacanth's nose, making her snort or sneeze- she couldn't tell which exactly it was, based on the sound the female made. But she had the desired effect for the playfight- Coelacanth was spurred on and came at her again, this time driving forward low, like a sheepdog, aiming for one of her ankles. Niamh had never seen a sheepdog at work, but she did notice how naturally the female was able to swoop in.

Coelacanth's gentle mouth caught her by the hock in a grip was similar in feel to the way a mother cat carries a kitten. Normally, she would jerk away- but today she decided she was going for opposites, just to see how those maneuvers worked. So rather than jerk her ankle out of Coelacanth's gentle grip, she leaned in, instead, flopping the weight of her body toward Coelacanth in hopes of landing right on top of her.

If Coelacanth had been reincarnated as a character in a tournament style sparring game, she would’ve been cast as the first opponent — easy mode — a skinny, ribsy wisp of a pinweight that you’re pretty much expected to beat. So, when the full-blooded wolf leaned in, her taller frame tumbling the tiny Groenendael right off her feet, Seelie went down easy. A stronger or more tenacious opponent might have put up more of a fight, but the sheepdog had always enjoyed being at the slightly squashed bottom of a good, old-fashioned pile-on. She savored the feeling for a moment — it reminded her of her cousins and her brother — and then enthusiastically retaliated.

Niamh’s unconventional methods held merit — surely, all fighting styles did! — but left her belly and throat open to attack. Of course, Coelacanth would do no such thing! — but the selkie’s daughter couldn’t help poking and prodding with her cold, damp nose in an attempt to find the blonde beachcomber’s ticklish spots. How lovely she was! The sheepdog, giddy with the spice of the season, couldn’t help but admire: how supple and tensile was her friend’s lean musculature!how soft and cream-fair was her fur! — but despite seeing and feeling what could not, now, be unseen or unfelt, her demeanor did not change and her expression did not alter. Once she tested her “opponent” for purported weakness, she would attempt to hop up and dance away.

Though Niamh had had playfights with her brother, the one she had now was much different. Her brother would have twisted and fought back against her every move- when Niamh pushed, he'd push back, and harder. So to feel Coelacanth crumple beneath her was a novel experience, and Niamh checked Coelacanth's body language just to make sure she wasn't afraid of being squished, and that she wasn't hurting the much smaller wolf. True, Niamh was almost all legs and not much else, but just by being so much taller, she'd automatically weigh more. No cry or whimper came, though, and rather than grunting or trying to wriggle out from beneath her, her swarthy opponent took advantage of their proximity to foil Niamh completely.

There was no way she could fight back; she was immediately incapacitated as soon as Coelacanth started tickling her underside and erupted with raucous laughter and did her best to push Seelie away from her belly while flailing from side to side like an upside down tortoise. She snorted and pushed at the ground with her hind feet to try and scoot herself away from Coelacanth, breathlessly shouting "Uncle! Uncle!" to call the tickling to a halt before she peed herself.

The butterscotch and cream female’s laughter was intoxicating, and although more than once Coelacanth had her oversized ears boxed or her tender nose bopped, she army crawled closer with every distancing push of the younger wolf’s long, lissome legs. Fox-fine muzzle outstretched —

“Uncle! Uncle!”

— but before she could catch one of those flailing paws in her mouth, Coelacanth’s tufted ears bounded forward upon her skull with automatic eagerness. Her elegant head lifted and turned from the tawny female as she peered up and down the beach, Neptune eyes starved for a glimpse of Undertow or Brontide. It was a kneejerk response and an honest desire to see her father’s twin and their stormy-furred youngest brother that she corrected a moment too late — how silly of her! Apart from Brontide, all of her uncles were sure to be safe and sound on Vargas Island.

A beat behind the game’s natural cadence, she made to mouth at one of Niamh’s wrists, her feathered plume thumping furiously. In between mock-growls, “Uncle, Uncle?” she inquired.

Coelacanth pressed toward her, almost slithering like a harmless, black snake, muzzle aiming for one of her flailing, creamy paws, but she seemed to hesitate when Niamh cried out, so the girl flopped onto her side, ears perked. Simultaneously with her outcry, Coelacanth suddenly became distracted, looking up and down the beach, gazing with an intent, curious fixation. Niamh didn't quite understand why she'd looked away so suddenly, but her friend didn't seem upset- merely surprised. Coelacanth mouthed harmlessly at one of her ankles, so Niamh chuckled and reached out for one of her ears- they looked so soft, with those jet black tufts which gave her an almost permamently curious expression when paired with her lovely blue eyes.

"It means I give. I'm pretty ticklish, as you might've noticed," She said with a laugh, and gently tugged her foot from Coelacanth's mouth, and delicately made to brush the whiskers on the side of her friend's soft muzzle. It only occurred to her, then, that she actually had no idea what this woman's name was, and that she'd never introduced herself. "I'm Niamh, by the way," She said, and smiled. "I don't think we even introduced ourselves," She said.

The sheepdog’s ears were incredibly sensitive, and the touch of Niamh’s mouth, however innocuous, shocked a shiver down her spine. She erupted into wriggles, finding the sensation not at all unpleasant, and tilted her head to nuzzle at her friend’s cream-furred paw. “Niamh,” she whispered softly, the soft v-sound coming out a bit more like an f. She tried it a few more times until she got closer to the desired pronunciation, then offered a shy smile and entreated her new friend, “Niamh choose?” Perhaps she could cajole a new name from her sunny companion — but she didn’t keep her truename from the bright-eyed female, either. “Coelacanth. Seelie.” Her ink-feathered tail fluttered as she nuzzled at the underside of Niamh’s plush, pale-furred chin.

The way Coelacanth spoke her name was soft, but beautiful; so gently the female spoke, a sweet, gossamer chime tailormade for the fey female. She tried it a few times, and eventually managed the proper pronunciation, but still with the same carillion brightness and benevolence. The cascading tinkle of her laughter was something Niamh envied; her own laugh was not nearly as feminine or saccharine, nor was the way she spoke, which was often a bit brash, almost forced. Something about the tranquility of Coelacanth's nature appealed to Niamh, who wondered secretly to herself if she might even be able to pull off the same sort of charm some day.

She smiled when Coelacanth prompted her to come up with her own name, but supplied her true one, and immediately, to the nickname Coelacanth came up with, she thought of something. "Sealionacanth," She said. True, the creatures formerly known as 'legless fatdogs' had at first seemed like blubbery, foolish things, but having been able to get close to them, she'd been able to see the sparkle in their dark but shiny eyes, and the softness of their fur, and had come to appreciate them as something much more beautiful than she'd initially anticipated.

Had Coelacanth been able to read minds, she would have been shocked and surprised by Niamh’s thoughts; while Niamh envied Coelacanth’s frail susurrus, Coelacanth envied Niamh’s quick wit and golden brightness. Not once did the sheepdog find her companion’s voice or manner brash or forced — just vivacious and joyful. “Sealionacanth,” Niamh said, and Coelacanth shyly laughed, her feathered tail stirring up a miniature sandstorm as she flopped over onto her side with her spine against Niamh’s flank, then rolled, wriggling, onto her back to look up at the female.

“Niamh home — where?” she whispered, wondering if perhaps she could take the blonde beachcomber home with her. In this precious, encapsulated space and time, she could forget about her interactions with Komodo and her worry about Catori — she thought, perhaps selfishly, only of how good it felt to have met such a kind new friend. She was buoyed by `Io’s successful recruitment of Rokig and forgot completely about the failure to recruit Titmouse, not once, but twice.

Ouf, heh, Niamh still would've been a lone wolf when this thread took place! How about we wrap it up sometime soon?

She felt glad that Coelacanth seemed to like her nickname- it would stick, at least, for Niamh. And then she wouldn't forget what sea lions were called, rather than just being thought of as 'legless fatdogs.' Seelie flopped over onto her side, and then onto her back, so Niamh did the same, lying shoulder to shoulder and hip to hip with her friend, their fur weaving together.

Niamh shrugged gently in response to Seelie's question. "Nowhere, right now. I'm kind of just...On the move for a bit. I'll hang out in this area for a while, see what sticks out at me," She said. "What about you? You got a pack?"

Sounds good to me! Want to close up with your post?

Coelacanth nodded, one feathered paw outstretching delicately to point due north. “Undersea,” she whispered. “Across water.” It didn’t sound like her butterscotch-and-cream friend was ready to fully settle down, but she tacked on a gentle, “Niamh ever welcome,” just in case. She leaned over to nibble affectionately at the younger wolf’s cheek, her tail stirring up a miniature sandstorm behind her. “Want show where?” She figured she could at least show her where the sandbar was, just in case the leggy blonde ever did want to pay a visit.

Niamh gazed along the coast in the direction that Coelacanth had indicated, and her ears perked. She was welcome? She guessed, then, that Coelacanth must have been some sort of authority in the pack, to be able to confidently send out such an invitation, and she smiled, accepting Coelacanth's sweet gesture and returning it with a lick to the female's dark cheek as well. "Thank you," She said, deciding that she would keep Undersea in mind if she decided to go somewhere. Coelacanth being a member of the pack certainly sweetened the deal.
