All Welcome

Life inside of the den could be summed up with an array of adjectives: monotonous, boring, uneventful, boring, unrelieved, and boring, just to name a few. See, there was little for one to be entertained by, aside from the occasional visits, but even they were getting to be repetitive. Bigger wolves would come and look at the pups, and they would coo (Eventide could actually hear them now!), but they all left eventually.

But where did they go? It was clear that they went somewhere! Object permanence was something that Ty's brain was working on; he'd decided that when you couldn't see something, it did not, in fact, disappear. This realization might have seemed small, but really, it was a sophisticated development in the little mad scientist's brain.

Nonetheless, this is all to say that Eventide wanted to see where these wolves kept going. Something outside called to him with a roar so loud that it simply could not be ignored! It took some psyching up, but the determined toddler made the move for the outside world, head high and legs shaking.

Tag for reference. Grayday PP permission given. @Spiritwalker

She was walking towards Grayday and Cat's den with some parsley and borage leaves, both useful herbs that would help control Cat's milk supply. One to help her milk if she felt she needed a little more, and the other would stop the few trickling drops after feeding. She brought these herbs for Cat but not so secretly Pema came with the hopes that she would have another chance to see the pups. They were around a month old now, right at the beginning of their socialization stage.

As she stood in front of the den entrance she saw a dark ball of fluff marching confidently towards her. Her tail wagged with excitement. She took one step into the den so that she could set her herbs over to the side, taking another step back so she wasn't invading Day and Cat's space. She then crouched down to the little one's level before speaking.  "Hello there little Mister."  she didn't know if he would understand what she was saying, being so young, but that wouldn't stop her.

She then looked up to Cat and Day, "Here you go. Borage leaves for producing, and parsley for any dripping." she explained to them quickly before the little man took away he attention.

"Are you trying to make a runaway. I don't think your parents would like that too much. Unless they would let you explore just outside the den with me."  she said hinting a question towards Day and Cat. Her tail wagged with delight when she got @Grayday 's ok. She stepped away from the den entrance, clearing the way for little Eventide to pass through into the outside world.

Well, at least he’d met this Big Body before. With both of his parents in the den and Pema blocking the entrance, it didn’t seem likely that he would be getting out anytime soon.

At least not with permission, that is.

While Pema spoke, Eventide looked around with a quiet whimper, tail thumping in agitation. He just wanted to take a peek, nothing more! Why was that not allowed?

Then suddenly, it appeared! A vantage point, through which he would be able to sprint out into the open. Hoping that Pema wasn’t paying him any attention, Ty took off, tiny legs carrying him as far as he could make it before being stopped.

As soon as she stepped aside he was off, though not all that fast in comparison to an adult wolf, but at a zooming speed for a small pup. He tail was wagging as he ventured beyond the entrance of the den. For a few moments, she simply set him run out. But she didn't want him to get too far away from the den. So she trotted up, a fast enough speed to outrun the small pup, and blocked the young man's path with her muzzle. "Not so fast."  she said in a warm and friendly voice. "I convinced your parents to let me take you outside the den, not outside the territory." she said. Though exaggerated she didn't think it would matter much. She still didn't think he would be able to understand her too well. She took her muzzle and grazed against him before nudging him this way and that playfully.

While still not entirely sold on the concept of authority, Eventide did abide by Pema's warnings. Upon hearing the huntress's voice and feeling the graze of her muzzle, he settled, albeit not without first giving a fair, silent protest. However, unlike other times, it didn't seem that she wanted to completely stop his fun, but rather to join in! Now that was something Ty could get behind.

Giving his tail a playful wag and posturing himself a bit awkwardly, Eventide bounded about with playful yips, toppling over every now and then from the mixture of excitement and oversized-headedness.

Ooc/ mostly a cameo, no need to wait for me!

It was absolutely nothing against Pema but Catori was a protective mother and when Eventide went rambling out of the den with 'that look' she passed a knowing glance to her husband and padded out to lay just beyond the densite to watch him. She chuckled at his unsure feet, pressing a quick kiss to his forehead when he was close enough to, but otherwise was perfectly content to watch the boy as he enjoyed himself in the great world beyond.
i grew a human and unfortunately as a horrible side effect lost an organ - as such will be slow from time to time.

Little Ty was a bit upset that Pema didn't let him come completely amuck, but happily wagged his tail and went bounding on. It was fun to see such energy packed into such a small body. She followed along with him, steering him in the right direction when she felt he was getting too far from the den. She noticed that Cat had come out to watch and wanted to make sure that Ty would always be in her view.

She followed along with him and bowed down into play pose now and then to capture his attention. Once she got him standing in one spot she nudged his side, a bit harder than before so that it would turn him over onto his stomach. From there she could nuzzle and tickle his tummy.

Now to be fair, Pema was probably just doing what she thought Eventide would have enjoyed. Any other bubbly babbling baby would have been ecstatic to recieve a nice little raspberry on the tummy, but Eventide was about as far from bubbly as a toddler could get. He was a fierce warrior in training, even if his only practice thus far had been against his own shadow.

Once Pema's snout made contact with Eventide's skin, he lashed out with as loud a growl as he could muster in an attempt to get her to stop. This game wasn't fun anymore; he wanted her off!

the sprite emerged from the den on less-wobbly legs, plopping her butt on the ground.  since children lack empathy and kitten had no clue what danger even was yet, she kind of just laughed at eventide's thrashing and flailing.

The moment Ty started growling at her she stopped her fun. Pulling her head up and away from him as she looked at him with a confused face. She didn't have as much experience with younger aged wolves. When she had first meet Easy, Lavender and Dauntless they could speak and they could do a bit more than just play around. She felt a bit out of her element now with Ty being so angsty with her. But that might have just been him and none of his other siblings, but none the less it brought down Pema's confidence a bit.

She turned her head to see a young Kasatka laughing at her brother. Compared to a growl it was very welcoming for Pema. She sat down just outside the den and Pema wondered if she could coax her out further. "Did you come out to play with us?"  she asked playfully.

Like hell she had! As long as Eventide was included in the mix, Pema and Kasatka would have to keep a fair distance between them. While the former moved over toward the den, Ty chased after her, placing himself somewhere along the sidelines where he could properly see them both and hopefully give his sister an accurate enough (albeit silent) warning.

She wants to eat us! Go back inside, Kitten!
