Stavanger Bay i should not smite with vengeance

Well at least someone had gone and paid a bit more attention to the rest of the things that lived along the shore.  Godot was very much an "only paying attention to the moment" kind of wolf, so hadn't really put two and two together in a lot of cases.  It had taken her a while to figure out there was even a pattern to tides, and probably hadn't entirely figured out the whole synced-to-the-moon part of it.  She just wasn't particularly clever.  Probably good.  If they were way bigger, they'd be dangerous maybe, instead of just obnoxious pinchy things.  Just the same, it'd be nice if they were meal instead of snack sized... There was a fine line there somewhere that would mark the best size for wolves.  If only reality would cooperate.

The kelp though?  She shrugged, Dunno. It was there, so brought it along.  Godot paused and looked down at it.  It had seemed like a good idea but now she didn't know.  It was a toy, one with a limited shelf life and now she was just reconsidering the whole thing.  I don't think it'll keep well.  But then again, you also couldn't really play with chips of sea glass.
