If she put it into the sea, how would she stop it from floating away?  Yeah, sure, she couldn't tell the difference between two similarly-sized clumps of the stuff, but it was the principle of the thing.  Hm.  Maybe.  But that still means I can't store it with my other stuff.  I'd be better off just getting a new one.  Not like there's a shortage.  It was just dumb that plants had a habit of dying, and even if the kelp wasn't really a plant, it kind of did similarly.  She looked askance at the kelp again.  It had been fine, and still would be for another couple hours, but fun would fade.

She shrugged, Uhhh. I dunno.  How long's the pack been around?  'Bout that long.  I know you haven't been around as long, but I'm not good at time.  It passed, she didn't notice.  There were a lot of instances where it was really obvious that Godot lived inside her own head more than reality.  The fact that she'd been in the pack this long and still knew basically nobody was another clue of that.
