In some aspects of lie, Silkie was a late bloomer. It was just that morning that his eyes had decided to open for the very first time—truthfully, they’d been ready to open several days prior, but he’d only just now figured out how to control the muscles that allowed him to open and close his baby blues. Yet, with other things—such as walking—he was excelling already. The little boy had been rolling and stumbling around days before his eyes opened and, now that he could kind of see where he was going and what he was doing, he was even steadier on his feet.

With burning determination, the fluffy chick weebled and wobbled his way right towards the mouth of the den, eager to see what was out there!

Étoille

Steltrona

He has not strayed far from the den since the arrival of Wildfire and Thur's children. It is part some lingering paternal instinct (unlike Dio the previous year, Étoille has no mate or children of his own to keep him occupied), and part fascination in watching the tiny bodies sprout into Drageda's next generation.

And so he has spent much of his time gently preventing the mewling creatures from their attempted escapes into the wide world around them. Today is no different: he spots his look-alike (such a strange concept) beating a quick retreat and swiftly steps in to intervene, calmly stepping front of the boy to serve as an impenetrable roadblock to the outside world. "Non, petit," the titan murmurs, voice colored with gentle amusement.

keepin this going! @Silkie hop back in whenever

Silkie is joined by his brother, another chubby form attempting escape, only to be met by Étoille's mountainous form. An amused smile gently curved his mouth, repeating non as he allows his frame to block out the exit. So sweet to see them try to escape. "Tux," he scolds, pressing his nose carefully against his tiny head, "settle."
