All Welcome
The world was quite a new and wondrous thing for the lilac girl. Why did one mother produce milk, and the other did not? Why was she so distinctly different than the two others? [She would eventually come to understand this as gender.]  Why was the sun so bright? Why was gravity a thing? It all made relatively no sense to her, but she accepted it all the same; and she did so with such vigor! As she gained control of her puppy-is limbs, Eleuthera proved to be a bullish and inquisitive thing, often climbing over her brothers — or her mothers — to push the boundaries of where she was allowed to explore. Of course, she explored the physical world almost as much as she explored her newfound voice, as babbling as it may be. She talked almost constantly, making nonsense sounds and stringing together repetitive noises. But, Eleu was also quickly learning how she could elicit reactions from those around her simply by making sounds.

For example, if she said “mamamamamamama” then mama would smile and coo and say sweet words, that were very much nonsense to her, but she still liked that very much.

And if she said “seeeeeb” then she would get attention from Seabreeze, who was almost as constant a fixture in her life as mama. She liked that, too.

Her brother's names, however, were an enigma to her. Their pronunciations were so difficult that her mother didn’t even try to teach it — and the same went for the young girl's own moniker, which was a complex coupling of vowels and consonants that required a tongue more skilled than hers. Perhaps one day they would have lessons, for Olive knew the importance of speech and being able to speak one’s mind, even from an early age. The sylph wanted to know what they thought and how they felt about the general goings-on of their day. She was eager to know them. But for the moment their communication was mostly physical and innately sacred — she let them play and explore and taste all the things they probably shouldn’t.  It was alright, it was okay, and her world hadn’t come crashing down around her yet. Perhaps the gods and their fortunes had been wrong, yet again.

Mother and daughter slept in an embrace, olive's big spoon to Eleu’s teaspoon. The boys were somewhere nearby. The sun shone bright and warmed their pelts. Perhaps soon the mother would stir and incite play with her little ones, but for now, the greyscale duo was content to lay about and be, well, happy.

The sun was bright and extremely warm today and Hyacinth decided that it was a good day to explore. Her mind was a mixture of plans to go out and meet more pack members that never happened but today she wasn't bothered by being a stranger in a crowded home. Today she was content to just enjoy the warm weather and take a nice long walk. A smile was on her pale face as she walked till she caught the scent of others. Without thinking she turned on the path and followed it, coming across a female nestled up with a small child in her embrace. Hyacinth gasped and felt her heart skip a beat, eyes softening as she took a small step forward before shaking her head and moving to turn away. It wouldn't do well to wake up a sleeping mother and her children, even if she was extremely curious and interested in meeting the youngest faces of her new home.

Eleuthera, like most babies, could only snooze for so long before her curious mind would stir once more and she would be forced awake. She did not sleep long, but she slept often, and forced all adults within the vicinity to conform to her sleep schedule. Usually, if the little girl awoke and found all of her comrades asleep, she would squall and fuss until she roused another with whom she could play.

— but mama looked so nice, laying there sleeping in the sun, so Eleuthera made the mature decision to let the exhausted, yet entirely happy and fulfilled, new parent slumber. Then, she made the immature decision to wiggle from ‘neath her mother’s grasp and plod away, eager to take advantage of this illusion of freedom.

Her movements were confident, but waddling. She was still very much a small cub, unable to create real speech or produce logical thought, and she gave off every vibe of youthfulness. All of a sudden, her attention was derailed by the realization that there was another, and her trajectory changed without hesitation and without apology. She was going to figure this new wolf out, whether this stranger liked it or not.

Just as she moved to turn around, one of the sleeping babes lifted their head and got up before beginning to totter right over to her. Obviously not wanting to lead the kid away from her sleeping mother, Hyacinth instead remained still wagging her tail and giving a happy whine. Entranced by this baby girl's confident gait she plopped onto her belly and shoved her nose forward to gently boop against the approachinf girl. "Howdy sweetheart, Aren't you just the prettiest little lady?" she cooed, huffing the perfume that was baby like it was the best drug in the world.

lord please excuse my short post ;_; i dont know how you make these long beautiful posts Rachel.
