All Welcome
"YaMAAmaaamaaMIIII!

Yami sang the name of her twin (kind of) as she pranced along the rendouzvous site. She had spent her time exploring her new space - sniffing at every stick, every rock, every blade of grass, every everything. And then rolling all over it as best as she could, because that's how you make best friends with things. I'll now let you fill in the blanks as to why that day, searching for her twin, her rumpled agouti coat was smattered from head to toe with mud. It wasn't exactly unusual to see Yami dirty, misheveled, and breathless with laughter. But sopping wet with mud dripping down her belly and streaked through her hair? That was a once a week thing at best.

"Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaammmm!" the filly cried out again in her loudest of voices. She looked around eagerly as she shut her mouth, grinning even though she had yet to locate her sister. She had a mind to share her latest super fun activity find with @Yama, who she had zero doubt whatsoever would be totally into it. Who didn't like making a massive mess of themselves? Her tail wagged, sending sprays of mud about her.

Now that the pups had moved, Gannet had much freer access to them, and it was something he intended to take full advantage of! He was entranced by them... they were young, so had a childish glee and freedom that suited his own carefree nature well. It was a positivity he couldn't get enough of being around.

When he heard Yami's cries, he stood from where he had been resting among the nearby woods and trotted out, towards where the girl was playing in the mud. He watched her a moment, then barked to announce his presence and promptly, as he had with Arcturus, reared back to plant both forepaws in one of the surrounding puddles. Then he bent down, tail waving overhead.... perhaps she'd join in a mud romp?

Yama apparently was being elusive that day, which caused the little filly's face to fall into an aggravated frown. Her discovery was SO COOL, so it was a major bummer to not get to share it with her sister. She considered for a moment attempting to find her brothers and sharing it with them instead, but they were stupid worm-breath gross face butt boys, so she dismissed the notion almost as soon as it had come to her. She turned back, deciding to just enjoy her find for herself. She jolted to face the stranger mid-turn though as he barked to grab her attention, her eyes widening and hackles shooting skyward in shock.

Fortunately, the face she saw and the scent she breathed were not unfamiliar to her, and so she settled shortly. A smile danced across her lips as her head tilted in curiosity as the older boy shifted into a play bow, heedless of the mud that squelched beneath his paws. She giggled as her own tail began to wag, and a high-pitched growl rumbled forth from her own chest as she attempted to mimic his posture.

She mirrored him with a growl and he sent a small rumble back, not menacing, almost more approving. They would play!

Then, with a huff, he slapped both forepaws down in a puddle nearby, splattering himself (and hopefully her!) with a good deal of muddy mess. His mouth opened in a grin as he did so, and he danced back a step! The movement slightly awkward and stiff still with the ever-present limp.

Yami giggled as her new friend splattered mud about. She leaned back as it splashed at her face, shutting her eyes and wincing slightly as the cold struck her skin. Her hesitation was brief as Gannet's movement caught her eyes and sent her adrenaline rushing again like the way it does when a predator sees their prey breaking cover. She sprang forward with a laugh, splashing muddy water about as she ran at the omega, her lips peeled back in preparation to launch herself and attempt to bite his face.

When she bounded forward, Gannet fell back, allowing her to bowl him over with exaggerated easiness as he rolled onto his side. Likely she landed a few nips on his muzzle and ears, and he batted a paw lightly at her, opening his mouth to counter with a few bites that wouldn't entirely close, play-style.
