PP with permission.  Keeping things vague.

He had parted from Dawn from Morningside with a renewed spring in his step.

He veered south back towards the Stone Circle but instead followed his wanderlust to the Cuesta.  If he were to truly be a part of Easthollow, he wanted to map out the herds that lay nearby.

Instead of deer or bison, however, he found the silhouette of a young slip of a woman who looked.. really lost.  He drew his tongue over his lip before he called out to her, You lost?

The participants have indicated the following reason(s) for this warning: gay wolfsecks !!! move on if that bothers u bc it's basically the entire thread !
He, in fact, was not lost at all. But— he had lost something.
Alarian hadn't slept at all the night before, kept up by intermittent... fits, perhaps. Of the same kind that had almost consumed him when he had spoken to Lily, but worse— more intense. By morning he was in a daze, exhausted but somehow crawling with restless energy. He needed to find Lily.
So here he was. It was so bright, and he was certain he'd lost track of her scent. Yeah, actually, he didn't smell her anywhere around here. Pausing, he realized he hadn't for awhile. He turned to survey the area around him. Huh. He blinked once, twice; this didn't look anything like it had just... just a... fuck, that was longer than a moment ago.
There was a noise— no, a voice. Alarian was startled anyway, glancing irritably towards the source. It took him a couple beats to process what had been said, and what exactly he was looking at; a guy. No, no— not just that, a gorgeous guy. Fortunately or unfortunately, Alarian was not his stammering self today. He drew nearer, but only just enough that he wouldn't have to yell.
No, I'm not, He took his time checking the guy out, honestly— he was way too tired to care, and was sure he'd hear it if the stranger disapproved that much. Besides, he was also too tired to try to flirt (emphasis on try). I'm— looking for something. Something, not someone; why was he like this?

The strange woman's words were the same as Dawn's had been.  It caused the heat to rise in his loin, but he wasn't about to approach such a pretty stranger with his head fogged.  He brushed the thought away as he drifted closer, tail swaying behind him amiably.  His head was low as he scented, though for now he could not tell much.

Are you?  He quirked his brow up in curiosity, and his dull gold eyes twinkled like the morning dew that surrounded the pair.  I could help.

He couldn't quite tell if the stranger was flirting or not— but it was worth a shot, no? As far as Alarian was concerned, Samothes had been the result of a very lucky day, and maybe this day would be just as lucky. By now, he wasn't thinking about Lily at all. Or Delight— or Eris— or Ulf— or anyone.
That was a lie. He was thinking about the dude in front of him, and in very graphic ways. Sex on the brain much, Ali? It absolutely had nothing to do with his jealousy over Bracken Sanctuary's first litter. Not. At. All.
I might like that, Alarian's voice was softer now, and he dared a few steps closer. His own tail swished slowly, one ear flicking. He took a breath, still present enough to be a little nervous about the risk he was taking; he didn't let it show. Depending on what kind of help you're offering.

He much appreciated how forward this girl was.  Most of the time he preferred a bit of subtlety, but it had been some time before someone before Dawn had opened herself to him so easily.  He took a step foward, tail arched as he ran his tongue over his lips before he scented the strange — boy.

This was definitely a boy.

It caught him by surprise, and he raised his head back up again before he boldly closed the distance between them.  He lowered his nose to the stranger's neck ruff, then down his side before he paused to nip at the puckered, scarred flesh at his hip.

Somewhere very far away, he wondered what had hurt this delicate boy so much, but he was too enchanted by the queer contrast between his sex and his appearance that Fen did not linger on it long.

The stranger did not answer with words— instead, he drew closer, his eyes telling Alarian all he needed to know. He didn't miss the pause, though he couldn't have known the reason for it. Dude kept going, so whatever, right?
This time wasn't like with Samothes— he was not a trembling, stammering mess. He felt strange and hazy; at once too exhausted and too wired to be the wreck he usually was. All he knew right now was that he wanted this. More than anything, he wanted to feel desired; worth something, even if it was only this.
At the contact, he bent his own head to preen along the side of the male's neck, and further as he moved alongside him. The nip sent a shiver down his spine; he returned with his own, soft and teasing. In a way, he was grateful there were no more words exchanged— this was easier. Less attached. He would not ask the male to return to him if he didn't know his name, or how charming he was. It was better that way, overall, even if he really didn't regret Samothes.

He liked the way the boy's jaws worked at the loose fur at his neck, and then further down his side.  His lip and brow both quirked upwards and he let his breath slip from between the parted ebony at the front of his maw.

He carefully lifted a leg to reveal his sheath and, from that, the member that had begun to show.  His burnished golden gaze lingered upon the stranger with a question, although not expectantly.

Oh. It wasn't like he had never been asked to do that, but— ahhhh! Alarian hesitated only a moment, then slowly took his preening down through the male's fur. Softly, he obliged the stranger's unspoken request; for a beat he worried about how exposed they were. Out in the open like this— what if they were caught by someone?
The fear washed away with his own growing lust, giving way to a rising impatience. Whether it was because somewhere, subconsciously, he knew he needed to return, or simply because he was thirsty as hell would likely never come to light. Probably both, honestly.

Ah — ! came the first utterance since their unspoken agreement.  He let the stranger continue until he was grown, and then he lowered his leg, pulling themselves apart.  He bent his head, gave one teasing lick to the stranger's loin, before he came from behind.

He mounted easily, hips rocked a one-two against where he would have usually entered a female before he found the right target.  He pressed himself at the entrance as a final silent gesture of consent and once he recieved it, he entered.

It was almost in his nature now to trail after Alarian. Especially when the governor seemed tired and thin. Ulf never spoke of it openly but he had acknowledged it silently to himself. Perhaps that was what pulled him to follow today. A protectiveness.

He weaved back and forth off the scent of Alarian which left him a little late to the scene. At first, he thought nothing of it but a second glance left a strange feeling building in him. He didn't recognize that feeling that built in his chest and stomach but it was not a feeling he would have ever associated with the gold-kissed wolf.

Part of him wanted to disrupt the scene, shove the stranger away and yet...he couldn't fathom doing that. Ulf had never been brave. He had never stood up for his emotions. So he awkwardly stood far enough away from the duo to not disrupt anything but there was a look on his face that could only convey pure discomfort and perhaps a tinge of jealousy underneath the surface.

What did this stranger have that he didn't? Was it better looks? No bad eye? The proper ability to speak? Or was it something far simpler - like the stranger was a feral and Ulf was not. How could he compete with all of that?

wrapping this up since Fen has exited <3
The stranger's embrace brought with it discomfort, and the sudden memory of the previous morning. Aditya. His hips still ached fiercely where the burly man had gripped him, and— oh. Alarian gasped slightly as they joined together; that hurt, too, at first.
But this was different; he had sought this, however fogged he was right now. It was not the heated, slightly fearful moment it had been with the golden wolf. He relaxed into his nameless lover's embrace, whining softly. Some part of him still felt strange about it— raw with the knowledge that he was not ready for this, not so soon. But he was mostly able to forget, after a few more beats, and the encounter passed smoothly.
He did not notice the presence of his friend; perhaps the wind was not in his favor today. Or maybe it was just because he was too fogged. His lover did not notice, either— and when nature released its hold, they parted with few words between them.
It was only afterwards, alone, fighting back waves of nausea as he realized how easy he had become, that he noticed Ulf's scent. His heart dropped at the realization, sending him running within moments. It occurred to him then that no matter how hard he tried to make himself feel okay, it would never be okay— and that was entirely his own fault.
