Cedar Sweep invade us, in innocent song

things happened over the past few days, good and bad.

firstly, laska has joined them and new recruits were always great. their numbers were small and every new body counted.

then there was minori, whom he hadn’t seen in awhile now. she was never found near the group but that became the norm for him. it didn’t bother him, but when days passed by with no sign of her he grew worried and upset. he was tempted to search for her, but he knew he had to stay with the group. he could only hope she would return.

and lastly, cedar sweep. issun had found it the day prior on one of his outings. it was different than the rest of the places he scouted. the forest was filled with life. trees blocked out the sun, making the earth cool and damp from dew. there were some spots where light would shine through the leaves. there was a lake where the cedars thinned. this place would make a great home.

issun returned to alpine lake as quickly as he could and led the other three to the paradise. “i think this is a good place to settle, he said when they arrived, “no neighboring packs, good source of prey. we’ll stay here.”

Laska had been following Issun and the others for a while now. She had become apart of the band and was settling in fine. Even though she hadn’t talked to the others much, she still felt like they would be a good family. The traveling had made Laska grow tired, it was as if she was a lone Wolf again. 

When Issun mentioned Cedar Sweep her eyes shined with excitement, could this be the place? Though her hopes were high she wasn’t showing her excitement on the outside. The pale woman followed close to Issun, almost at his side. 

Once near the place her eyes grew wide, it was truly beautiful. It was a place she’d never seen before, a lake. After Issun’s words she smiled a bit, this was the place. It was even more beautiful than she had anticipated. She walked up to Issun and sat beside him, “What made you want to come here? It’s beautiful.” She said flicking her tail.
