All Welcome
Any traveling with the soon-to-be pack! This is set when they are stopped in the Maplewood.

The days of travel had left the young bear weary. Though he was still small enough to be carried, Sos did not like dangling helplessly from the grip of his family's sharp teeth. He had grown in the short time since their birth. He had found footing in the strength that had formed beneath the changing colors of his coat. The bear's paws had grown larger, and even his limbs had stretched out further than they had before. As the time passed, he was becoming more of a young man and less of a little boy. In spite of this, the family seemed to watch over him and his siblings with a frighteningly intense eye. They were to be cared for at all times, never to be left to wander too far without the pale form of a guardian over their shoulder. It was fortunate for the adults that the boy was so tired and incapable of causing too much trouble for them.

The sun seemed to drift down beyond the trees. It illuminated the leaves in a brilliant shade of orange that lingered against the musky woodland floor. Sos was enthralled with the location, finding it to be far more pleasant than the forest where they had been born. The scents were rich and overwhelming to one who had only just gotten a hold on his skill for tracking familiar aromas. Then again, many of the scents that had passed them were captivating in their own right. Sos wished they could linger in each territory for weeks so that he might learn them well enough to traverse on his own.

While the adults seemed to rest, or hunt, the boy found his interest caught by the glittering of light against the forest floor. He sat quietly with his eyes trained on the dancing flickers that were created by movement in the trees overhead. Sos followed each trace of movement with a keen interest, causing his frame to sway slightly as he did so.
