All Welcome
Loir started to choose to stick by Morningside territory more often, at least in the Taiga. The moon was starting to go down, and the stars in the night sky were beginning to fade away. Soon, bright sun would shine, followed by some emerging prey Loir could sink her teeth into, and perhaps a way to relax. The female loved relaxing during sunrise. She thought of sunrise as maybe something good, peaceful, calming. Loir used the sunrise as a time to push away all of her worries aside and focus on the present.

Loir had decided to go to the Bracken Woods to enjoy the last bits of night, and the bright moon would be sinking down, making way for the sun. Perhaps she could let out a long howl to say goodbye to the moon? Loir loved howling, but not as much as hunting, her favorite. She continued walking along, noticing some of the orange belonging to dawn slowly popping up. Loir walked over to a rock and climbed upon it, lifting up her head and letting out a long, maybe scary howl, saying goodbye to the moon and making way for the sun. Daylight would be arriving, and this would signal another day as a Morningsider.

Nanny Apple had loved music ever since she had been born. Who had been the first to sing for her was lost to the everlasting mists of history, but this had impacted the young cub then all throughout her childhood, wild teenage years and adulthood. And yet only, when she was in her golden years, did she give herself freedom to sing without scruples.

She had no singing voice, she could hardly keep a tune and she did not know most songs from start to finish, and yet she did not deny herself the joy of repeating the verses, inventing the new ones and add her own improvisations to songs that were well known. In the light of this, when Apple heard a wolf howl in the woods at dawn, she smiled and listened to this particular form of wolfkind's music.

Then - being in the vicinity, but not yet visible, she tipped her head back and howled in reply. And, while she failed and classical interpretation in music, her wolfkind's tune was flawless and beautiful.
