All Welcome
@Mirabelle for some language lessons

The travels had worn them down and made them all weary, but once they had found the location that was intended to be their home... the light seemed to shine through on them. The young bear had done his best to practice patience and care with his mother. He had been carried a great distance and allowed to walk only when they needn't move very quickly. Sos had tried to show that he was capable and strong, but the earth had urged him to settle and to offer only what he could for the moving family. It had been a great distance that they had traveled, but the young bear had learned many things along the way. Though he was still reserved and found a greater peace with the life around them, Sos had also adopted an image of true familial bonds and the power within them. Those who wandered with them were just as much family as those who had been present when he had been born.

Overhead, the dark-winged creature fluttered.

The raven had followed the young boy from their forest home to the glacier. Tahani had said that they were intelligent beasts and were capable of learning a shared language. Sos had made a vow to her that he would be the one they spoke to, and he had been right in many ways. The raven had found a familiar spirit within the young child. Sos had found a peculiar comfort in the inky wings of the scavenger. Together, they would share a bond that would last their entire lives. But, the child did not know how uncommon this was, or how special he was to have found such a unique relationship. The bird swooped down to where the young man sat and pecked at the earth near his paws. It bobbed its head from side to side before looking at Sos from the side of its skull.

Taggak,” he spoke softly to the bird, saying only that it acted as his shadow. The raven cawed and ruffled its feathers before preening. It was not bothered by the presence of the young wolf child. Sos was not perturbed by the watchful guardian either. Instead, he smiled upon the winged beast and felt a sense of pride that he had managed such a connection. Tahani would have been pleased with him, he hoped.
