The iron-pelted boy gives no answer before another pup--the frog-fisher from the other day--comes onto the scene, sniffing a bit anxiously at the other's fur. Brothers, perhaps? Llewellyn watches them for a long moment before his eyes return to the cat as well; he smiles as Arcturus stalks toward it, looking keen. If frogs were evasive, cats even more so. . .and they had claws and fangs, to boot.

His lips curl upwards as he joins Arcturus, a silent, golden shadow behind the young man, a growl bubbling in his throat. The cat spits and hisses, fur puffing out like a cloud around its lithe body. Llewellyn's gaze flashes to his companion, then back to the other, still-nameless child. He doubted a creature this small could do much serious harm to these growing boys, but--

It was in the faery circle. Perhaps it was one of them. And faery creatures reputably had more power than their mortal, earthly counterparts. He barks again at the cat, hoping to scare it away. What happened if you killed a faery?
