Sockeye grinned. "Then we've got the same story, seems like," he noted. He was curious about what such a young wolf had in her past, but with her face and her paw being like they were, he guessed she probably wasn't exaggerating. Still, he wasn't one to pry.
"Caught it," he replied, pulling at the ruby-red flesh, now. "Fish are better fresh," he noted, thinking back on the remains of the shark that he had dined on. Land animals didn't go quite as bad quite as quickly. Not that he'd openly disparage fish to anyone. He shot Maegi a quick glance to see if she would be offended. When it seemed like not, he hurried to cover his tracks. "Sure you don't want half?"
