"Isp?"

She returned to the den site to where her sister was sitting in the grass. Remi had a flower in her mouth. It had many yellow petals fanning out from a black center. Nothing fancy and they were common all around, but to Remi it was a beautiful offering that she put down in front of her sibling.

"For you," she murmured, as her blue eyes gazed down at the cast on Wisp's leg. She frowned and lifted her own paw, holding it to her chest before she used it to gingerly gesture at her sister's injured ankle. "Okay?" She queried, tilting her head to the side as she smiled softly at @Wisp.

From her place near the den, Wisp watched as a silvery bead of dew crept down the edge of a blade of grass. The only telling sign that she wasn't a statue was the occasional quiver of her whiskers and tremble of her brows. Even her eyes failed to twitch. She'd been watching it for the past ten minutes, once more focusing in on something so intently that the rest of the world seemed to disappear around her. What was it like, she wondered, being dew? What was it like to be a blade of grass?

Another puppy might have engaged their imagination to answer these questions, but Wisp didn't. She thought of them literally and didn't know how to imagine herself as one of those things in a fantasy scenario. Instead, she lamented that she might never know. Her tail twitched, signalling that the end of her fixation was drawing near. Remi's arrival pulled her out of it early, since her sister announced her presence with spoken word, preventing Wisp from being unnerved at finding her there all of a sudden.

She blinked twice and looked up. A yellow flower dangled from Remi's tiny silver muzzle, earning several thumps of Wisteria's tail. "Oooooooh," she said, leaning awkwardly forward over her bound limb to sniff at it. There were many such flowers around that she had inspected thoroughly before, and Remi had her attention, so she didn't zone into it like she had with the dew. Still, she watched the flower for longer than one might expect, and only really looked up again when Remi's paw gently touched her brace.

Wisp pulled it off the ground but couldn't crook the limb like she wanted to thanks to the sticks keeping it stable, and she frowned. "Bedda," she insisted, as she lowered her muzzle to gnaw at it for a second, "buh don' likey."

Remi's tail beat in a cadence that matched her sister's as she soaked up the approval that the flower brought. If she thought anything at all about how long her sister could focus on something, it was simply that Wisp took her time appreciating things and Remi herself could appreciate that.

"Bedda," Wisp said, "oh! Good!" Remi replied, smiling brightly. She tilted her head to the side again as her sister gnawed at the sticks and grasses that bound her leg. She did not understand their purpose entirely, but nor did she understand Wisp's injury either. She knew only that Wisp was better, and that she did not like her cast.

"I fix!" Remi chirped, poised on her toes. "I fix?" She repeated questioningly, as she bent down and leaned toward her sister's leg. Her blue eyes looked up eagerly, curiously, watching for Wisp's reaction as she inched herself near enough to start nibbling on the grass with her incisors.
