All Welcome
The sun had lost its bite as he hours went on, and now as it dipped below the horizon, Treason figured she'd go and make another trip down to the borders for a short patrol.  She'd been nestled up at the foot of a tree, getting to her feet with a yawn, stretching.  She was tired of summer, not that she had it as bad as some -- her pelt was mostly white after all -- but a few cool days would be quite welcome.

She still had a decent descent before hitting the borders for her walk, and there was every chance she might meet someone along the way... For better or worse.  A few of those who'd shown up in the vale had been ones she'd scented making the patrols, but given her experience with past packmates (and some that still were around) she wasn't counting on them being of her ilk.  Treason was still the odd bird here.  Would it ever change?  Probably not unless she did something on her own.  Hm.  That was a thought.  Anyway, borders were just up ahead.  For certain definitions of "just."

she sat, rear limb flicking up toward her ear to scratch a certain sweet spot at its base, gaze narrowing contentedly. standing, she shook out her pelt (dislodging a small flurry of dried mud from her limbs and twigs from her pelt) and settled back into an easy trot towards the borders.

she had little idea why she had sprung upon the idea to try her luck here, other than that it felt right and she'd decided gut instinct was a good way to make decisions. it took only a few moments of moving parallel to the edges of the pack before movement caught her eye. "hey!" she stopped still, waiting for the shape to reveal itself (hopefully)

It had started out seeming like this was going to be another boring day, as if the quota of excitement had been used up in the vale.  That might have been okay if only the Fools had verbally realized the err of their ways.  She hadn't even gotten to the path that she'd helped carve around the foot of the mountain before someone was... yelling at her?  Wait, what.

Given the fact this person seemed to have been loitering about instead of doing the equivalent of ringing a doorbell, Treason approached rather more aggressively than she otherwise would.  In fact, her lack of leadership status meant that most of those that howled went answered by someone other than her.  Her path veered sharply towards the source, stalking towards the stranger with a little bit more tooth to her words, Who are you and what do you want?  It was said flatly, and if it were not for the actual words it might not even be interpreted as a question.

Yeah Treason was the best wolf to do meet 'n' greets.  Absolute best.
