All Welcome
attn: @Kestrel

Whisker wandered toward the coast. He did not find it particularly interesting, considering he had seen it before. It was a good place to catch fish, but the fish on this beach were downright giant, and Whisker didn't think he would have any luck trying to take one down on his own. Even with a few helpers, it didn't seem very likely. Instead, he kept his distance, black ears flicking at the noises the large fish made. Little did he know they weren't fish at all, but to him, anything naked was a fish. Snake? Definitely a fish.

He caught the smell of something drifting up from the ground beneath him, and without much thought put into it, he began to dig at the earth, wondering what it could be. It smelled like it might be food, and that was one thing he did enjoy!

ach, feck you, she said with an emphatic snarl at one of the beasts. kestrel had never seen the ocean before, being a young creature born and raised within the depths and security of a forest. she didn't know what these fat creatures were but had quickly found them to be quite lazy. she had drawn too near a cluster as she explored the beach, and one had reacted by yelling quite disapprovingly in her face.

her snarl, it seemed, had been interpreted as a threat— and that was when kestrel learned these blobby looking creatures could run despite their flippers. ye've got to be kiddin, she muttered under her breath, springing into a run as the blob and its friends gave chase at a limping— but impressively fast, considering— gait. pausing after a moment to look over her shoulder and ensure the gap was growing, kestrel nearly bowled over the male digging at the beach with his ass in the air.
note: kestrel has a low, husky voice and speaks with a thick, irish brogue. her appearance and mannerisms are quite androgynous, though her scent is clearly female (yay, hormones). your character won't offend either of us by mistaking her for a male.

Feel free to open this one back up if/when you bring Kestrel back. <3

He heard the footsteps before impact, but his reaction time was too slow. One second he was digging, and the next he was being knocked to the ground by some idiot girl.

"Fuck!" he yelped instinctively, going ass over tea kettle in one swift motion. When he was able to right himself, he discovered quickly that his entire face had been covered in sand, including his eye.

"Fuck fuck fuck!" he cursed again, blinking and pawing at his eyes. He could smell the other wolf nearby, and he just had to hope that she wasn't planning on ripping his throat out.

Then there was the other strange sound of the creature who was heading right toward him...
