Being demoted to the lowest rank in the Creek was a hard jab for the old male. Though when the doe slipped from his companion's grasp, Galileo was quick to counterattack. Propelled by the thick muscles if his hind legs he reached the animal's shoulder, where he attached himself with all his might. Surely the male's weight would drag the prey down, or at least make it trip.
