I noticed very belatedly that Amneris has been referenced as missing so I'll make this a departure post instead!
It was the soft thrum of music which drew Amneris from the valley. Something she would never be able to explain nor describe. Later she would not remember the music at all, not for many months.She wouldn't remember the valley or its inhabitants, either. Amneris would remember nothing but the place where she awoke.
