All Welcome
When at last Sea Hunter ventured from the lodge and into the great wide world, he was driven by desire to explore it with his mouth. He reached to gnaw and lick at most things of interest that he found: blades of sea grass, a dried leaf that crumbled on his tongue, a mouthful of grainy sand. Most of it was unpleasant and came with instant regret, but it didn't stop his attempts to consume other things.

With a guardian close by to prevent him from killing himself by eating inedible objects, Sea Hunter's stormy gaze scoured the clearing for the next thing to catch his eye.

Heph would keep in touch with @cen and @red leaf, as summer came upon them slowly. The days were getting warmer though the sea breeze prevented them from being unbearably hot. She travelled, sometimes following the herds. There were many young ones in the pack and it brought her no small amount of satisfaction though it certainly made the village busier than before.

She came upon Sea Hunter, who had wandered from the lodge. Already a smile on her face. "Hello young man." A teasing lilt to her voice, as if to hint at trouble without stating it.

It was not a moving insect or fluttering bird wings that caught Sea Hunter's attention, but the arrival of another. He canted his muzzle to regard the stranger, intrigued by her dark pelt and the warmth of her curved smile, and responded to her greeting with a merry sweep of his scruffy little tail.

Roooo, he babbled, padding closer to invite himself into her personal space so that he could explore her, sniffing at lower limbs.

Heph grinned, laughing lightly at the investigation and carefully lowering her body to the ground so she was not towering over the young wolf. Her words were steady and warm, not expecting understanding quite yet but offering them all the same. "I am Heph." Her tail wagged behind her and she let him sniff. She travelled far and wide and most likely carried the scent of the ocean but also the trees to the south in the deepwood weald, the plains and scent of killdeer birds to the west, and perhaps even the smell of deer from following the trails.
