All Welcome
night of the 27th!

moonglow.
here chakliux had fallen in love with both nasamik and samani, here he had lived the life of a wilder young man until @Aiolos had put an end to it.
in many ways, the sun-man had helped to mature the seal hunter.
and it was for him that chakliux called out when he had come up the path, panting, breathing in the cool air drifting from the lake. he knew that the desert girl and his son had come here, and called also for @Raiyuk if he had not moved on.
"moontide asks for the wisdom of moonglow. there is a man among us who strains an allied bond, but more than that, he hurts his wife and has been for some time. this must be handled — gently. she fears for her life." he described cen and then fell silent, wanting to return as soon as he was able.

He had not departed yet.

Raiyuk spent his time near Racharra while they visited the village, intent to see her safe. There was no reason to doubt this while she was within meetings with Kukutux. The young man wanted to do his job well and that was all.

When he saw his father upon the paths he was surprised, thinking perhaps something had been done wrong and that Chakliux came for him - and he heard the call for the Sunman, and for himself, which made him wonder.

As he arrived he was on-edge. His father explained and he understood after. This reminded him of the hunt between his father, Dutch, and the man Kigipigak for the creature who hurt his wife Marina; in that juvenile way Raiyuk saw opportunity.

I will go. He would stop by Racharra's sleeping place and let her know the change in his plans, unsure of her own, but he would go to cut away this evil from his village.

Chakliux's voice was a well remembered one, though Aiolos had not seen the male in some time. A call for him and Chakliux's son, specifically even and with an urgency.

Aiolos moved swift though not nearly as swift as those far younger. When he arrived, Raiyuk was already present. Aiolos nose crinkled at the smell of blood. Chakliux own due to a tearing on his paw, likely in his rush to get here.

We must secure her safety first by making sure he is taken away and kept far from her as quickly as possible. There is a place here in Moonglow where he can be held until we can make a decision on what to do with him. It was a place which had housed a prisoner once before and may do so well again.

Return to Moontide with Raiyuk as soon as you are able. Find a manner to escort him beyond your borders - away from any children and his wife. I will gather another and myself and meet you there. Aiolos waited only a moment longer, should their be anything else said before turning and leaving quickly. He would inform Kukutux first and then seek out the young man, @Peregrine, to join him. A first testing of his worth was in order.

his torn flesh stung but he ignored it with implacable relief to see his son. aiolos spoke decisively and did not hesitate to seek his wife and another man.
"i will wash this in the lake and bind it so it does not tear more. then we will go."
his eyes found raiyuk in a silent communication between men, not father and son in this moment, but two warriors preparing to defend the honor of their village.
his mind worked. "shall we invite cen to hunt with us and rodyn?" he wondered aloud, asking for suggestions on how to remove the caribou man from his wife for a time.

That is a good idea. Raiyuk agreed.

He was not a tactical creature, and did not know how to hunt another man. At the same time he was fresh to his scars and wanted to prove to both his father and the Sun Man that he was capable, and presented one hastily thought-of plan: Perhaps if Rodyn were to ask, he would feel obligated to follow. If I was to go, it would be my first caribou hunt—and maybe this man Cen would want to show his skills?

He was ignorant to the tension between the seal hunters and the caribou hunters.
