Roadkill watched the wolf completely disregard everything she had just said and sighed loudly, rolled her eyes as she watched the dumb wolf. She took some distance from the rolling waves, shook her pelt and sat down on the soft sand, observing the dumb ole' wolf from a safe position.
Suddenly the wolf seemed to realise what was going on and she began to swim to the shore, only narrowly managing so before the current would take her. "Them ears're made for listenin', y'know," Roadkill commented when the wolf came dashing past her to safer ground. "Guess Oi can't bloody blame you though, with them tiny triangles." Nothing like a beagle's ears, they were. She had perhaps only one properly functioning ear left, but she'd choose it over two of them miniature triangles squashed on top of her head any day.
