Ohen had finally done it! He had traveled out of Blackfeather Woods and into the unknown. The dark male took a deep breath and it felt like he had been born again. The sun warmed Ohen's fur and traveled deep down inside the ebony male and melted his cold, unbeating heart. He enjoyed the dark forest, but understood that every now and then you need a breath of fresh air.

After traveling over mountains, and exploring the world the dark male found himself inside a forest. It reminded him of his new home, and he took a moment to think of the future. Life was confusing to the ebony male, and even though he wanted to be loyal to the dark pack, he knew one day he would betray and leave them. With a sign, Ohen sat, closed his eyes, and began praying that the Gods would show him the path he was destined to take.

Shortly after his return to the valley, the ghost had once again departed. Though he wasn't too keen on the idea of eating a fox, as he saw them as being truly vile creatures, he told himself he would make an exception just once. The plan was to kill a fox or two and then bring them back to the valley. He would give them to whoever wished, or simple store them in a cache alone, but the main goal of such a thing was to create a message. He wished to inform any and all foxes that, though they could enter the valley, they were under no one's protection. That if they even looked as if they wished to steal something from the wolves, they would have a hefty price to pay. Little did he know that his plan would fall to pieces as he set out towards the second darkest forest he knew, as what—or rather who—awaited inside would be quick to grab his attention.

The trek had been a walk in the park for Kove, and not only because he'd found himself taking it several times before. It was always easy so him to get places, as his long legs carried him over distances in shorter spans of time than someone who possessed shorter legs. It was a feature he greatly appreciate, and often took for granted. As he entered the forest, he was met by the same thing as when he use to enter Blackfeather—darkness. A darkness that made his pale coat stand out, and what would have made him appear as a ghost had night fallen. The calls and shrieks of foxes rang out from seemingly every direction, but he focused on only one. One at a time would ensure he could catch something, after all, which was what he wanted. Once he was able to pinpoint a single direction a fox was calling from, and even managed to pick up a scent worth following, he started off towards it. It wasn't long, however, before he was stopped by the sight of a dark wolf. The all too familiar scent of the dark forest clung to the stranger, as did the scent of his fellow Brother, Burke. Though his mark was probably in need of a touch up or two to ensure it's vibrance, there was no denying the fact that the crimson print still resided upon his shoulder. “You're far from home,” Kove pointed out as he approached, his earlier quest temporarily forgotten. "On a mission, or just sightseeing?" A grin spread across his maw as he asked his question, despite him actually being curious about the male's reasoning for being so far from the woods.

After spending a few minutes in the forest Ohen had decided he wanted to leave and go enjoy some of the more happier places. However he was interrupted when an unfamiliar scent invaded his nose. The ebony male became alert at once and stood attempting to make himself look bigger than he actually was. Then out of nowhere like lightening, a bolt a white crossed his vision, but soon disappeared into the darkness.

It was then he heard a voice and for a second Ohen believe his Dragon Gods were finally speaking to him but that was not the case. The dark male turned to see a white wolf approaching, but that was not the only color the male had on his fur. The same pawprint Ohen had seen on other wolves was on this one. The ebony male was confused as this stranger did not smell of Blackfeather, but yet he still possessed the crimson pawprint of the Dark Brotherhood.

Ignoring the part about how he was far from home, Ohen asnwered why he was away from Blackfeather. "I am both sightseeing and on a mission" he said keeping his answer short and sweet. "You have the mark of the Brotherhood, but you do not smell of the dark pack" he pointed out and turned his head slightly. Was this some imposter who wished to be in the dark pack, or just some idiot who got a bloody paw and decided to put it on their fur just for fun? Either way, Ohen would find out who this wolf was and why he had that pawprint.

The paler of the two could appreciate a short, right-to-the-point kind of answer, and didn't question it any further. If the mission was one from Meldresi and concerned anyone further of North, he was sure she would have spoken with him to arrange something. He figured the mission must either be one of the man's own, or perhaps he'd simply veered off the path he was suppose to take. Whichever way the situation fell, Kove decided it best not to involve himself. If he was needed, the Dark Queen would have spoken to him about it, and if he wasn't needed then it was none of his business. Next came another question, but it did not come from the Inuit. It came from the shadow, asking of his mark. If there had been a doubt in the pallid king's mind before over whether or not he'd seen the other before, it was now gone. With how common the darker furred wolves were in the shaded forest, it made it difficult to not know them, even if you hadn't met them. They were the ghosts who lived among the shadows, and they usually became just as sneaky when maneuvering the dark forest as someone with a blackened coat would.

“That is because I am no longer a member of the pack, but I still reside within the Brotherhood,” he answered, though a true question hadn't been asked. It'd been more of a statement, but Kove had assumed their was some curiosity behind it. “I'm Kove, once a member of Blackfeather, until I left. I'm guessing you joined after I'd already gone.” It was the only explanation he could come up with. Even if he hadn't been born with such a colorless coat, he'd noted how many often tried to get in good graces with those of the Brotherhood—as he had been no exception to that. It seemed off that the male, who knew of the Brotherhood, would not know of each of it's members unless he'd happened to join after one had left. For a moment, he found himself wondering if the man knew of Bane, but he did not ask. He still wondered where the other Northerner had gone.

Ohen listened as the pale male spoke of still being apart of the brotherhood, but yet not being a part of Blackfeather. The ebony male wondered why the strange male had left the dark pack, however he decided it was none of his business to ask. Instead Ohen let silence overtake him as he tried to determine if he could trust this wolf or not. "I'm Ohen, and your right, I probably joined after you left" he said and sat down facing Kove. "I have met a few of the Brotherhood members, they were Burke, Crescondo, Morgana, and Meldresi" he said and wondered if Kove knew of Crescendo and Morgana's disappearance.

"However, Morgana and Crescendo have left both the Brotherhood and Blackfeather" he said plainly, assuming that since neither Morgana and Crescendo were no longer around, that they left both the pack and the Brotherhood. He was curious on how Kove would react to hearing that he had lost a fellow dark brother and sister. Ohen waited anxiously for the male's reaction and he was slightly curious if there were any other Brotherhood members that didn't live in the dark forest.

Tagging @Ohen just to make sure this doesn't die out before we reach ten posts. c:

The ghost followed after the male's motion and sat down, too, keeping his gaze on the dark figure. If he joined after the pale wolf had left, as they seemed to agree on, then that left Kove with a blank. He did not know the other well, or at all, really. He knew only a name and that he was apart of the pack he was previously apart of. All else was unknown to him, and would probably stay that way since he wasn't so sure about asking. Not many enjoyed delving inside themselves in order to ramble on and on about personal things with someone who was, more or less, a total stranger. The newly appointed king did need an upset man at his heels, and he certainly didn't need to return home sporting any wounds. Such a thing was sue to worry his lover, and he tried to avoid that as often as he was able. His ears perked slightly when the other spoke of who else he'd met who was apart of the Brotherhood. There was one bit of knowledge shared. “Meldresi and Burke are good wolves to know,” he commented. “Don't know much about Morgana, though.” The fact that he'd completely ignored the mention of Crescendo was sure to be noticed, but the man had never been able to bring himself to care about that. His dislike for the other man wasn't something he'd go out of his way to hide from Ohen, even if they were strangers to one another. The silver-eyed shadow wasn't worth that, in his mind.

Such thoughts made the male's maw twitch into a light smile when he was told of his departure. It was rather disappointing to hear Morgana had gone, too, but he was more than happy to hear of Crescendo's leaving. Perhaps that was why he hadn't smelled him when he'd visited Damien. The beast had gone, probably to cause trouble elsewhere, and Kove enjoyed the fact he'd departed. “Sad to hear about Morgana's leaving,” he commented. “But I am glad to hear Crescendo is gone.” Even now, after the time that had passed, the Inuit found himself incapable of saying the other male's name without using a tone of utter disgust. It'd more or less become a thing of habit, as was the way he acted towards the mentioning of the other male, but was one he wasn't so quick to break. “Any idea where they went? Or did they just leave one day and never come back?” If it was the latter, then there was a chance they'd been injured, or worse, but not even the prospect of that would drive him to locate and help either of them. They'd been foolish enough to just up and leave Blackfeather and the Brotherhood, which meant Kove had absolutely no ties to either of them any longer.
