For @Tiger. If it's alright with you and your timeline, can this be set before HP claiming howl?

Kivi has been tracking a creature for the past hour and she still has no idea what it is. A cute little black and white creature otherwise known as a skunk. The wolfess did not know the name for the animal, but she was determined to find out if it tasted good or not. Not knowing that she would probably smell absolutely horrible for the next few weeks or however long the spar lasted, the female continued to make her way closer to the creature.

She sunk low to the ground and waited for the perfect opportunity to strike. Just as the wolfess was about to pounce, another one of the strange creatures came forward and stood next to the other. Kivi realised she had been tracking a baby the entire time, and that this new animal was probably its mother. It sounded like a good deal, a momma and baby skunk snack to hold her off until dinner came around. What could possibly go wrong?

110% fine!

Tiger saw the skunk a mile away. The mama skunk, that is. This one she trailed, not because she wanted to hunt it, but because she wanted to herd it far, far away from where she was. Inadvertently, she did just that. It all worked out. But it was then she saw mama reunite with baby, and another wolf eye it hungrily.

"Don't fuckin' do it," she warned, her eyes quite wide. She'd smell that stank for miles and miles and the stench was so invasive that immediately upon being sprayed, Tiger would have to deal with it, too. The crass and uncouth Tiger did not want to deal with that. "That thing sprays out a smell way worse than a rotting corpse!!!"

Kivi crawled a little closer, when the scent and figure of a wolf appeared her vision. Next thing you know this stranger is babbling about how Kivi's lunch is going to make her smell bad. Ohh she wouldn't fall for that one. Kivi thought that this female was trying to trick her out of her easy meal, but she wouldn't have any of it. What kind of prey sprays something bad at you? It made no sense to the Dotharan girl.

"I'm not falling for any of your tricks" was all Kivi said before she turned and leapt right at the two creatures. Unfortunately it seemed that the voice of the stranger had scared off the skunks before Kivi had a chance to hunt them. "Thanks a lot you scared off my lunch."

"How's that a trick?" Tiger asked, a bit incredulous. "If it was a trick, I'd go for it myself now! Hell-to-the-no will I ever do that," she wrinkled her muzzle in disgust, the very idea repulsed her. THAT'S how bad they stunk. The odor was worse than offensive. She made a bleh face. Lunch? Tiger looked smugly to the other. "They couldn't have gotten too far. Why don'tcha call me on my bluff?"

Tiger doubted the other would. Who the heck would test that theory out, risking smelling like doodoo? ...She eyed the other one, wondering if she would. It'd be something to watch, that was for sure.

Kivi looked at the stranger, who was now getting on her nerves. She watched as the other made a face at the fact that she wanted to eat the skunk. When she said about going to call her bluff, that's exactly what Kivi did...sort of. This stranger seemed serious about the whole smelling bad thing, and Kivi was not exactly looking forward to smelling bad, so she had a plan in mind.

She jumped into a nearby bush to pretend she was looking for these creatures , when really she was about to scare the crap out of this unknown female. She crept around until she was directly behind the wolfess and then...she would pounce. Kivi lept from her posion aiming to force the other female below her.

Tiger snorted as the other went to search. "Have at it, moron," she harrumphed, indignant that the other wouldn't take her at her word. Whatever doe, she would be one stinky batch of cookies for it. She took a couple of step forward, none the wiser that Kivi was stalking her as it were. It was then something rustled behind her, and Tiger whirled around just in time to note Kivi pouncing her.

Her stink was something different. "The f-" cut off, she fell to the side, but not beneath Kivi. She quickly scrambled to get up. Tiger snarled, warning the other that if she didn't back off, she'd give it her all and just beat the shit out of the girl. If she could. Tiger wasn't much of a fighter, but she'd be damned if she didn't roll the dye (lol get it) and make this weirdo pay for the sneak attack! Tiger was just sensitive that Kivi'd bested her, there. But hell no would she do it again!!!! "Come on, moron," she bared her teeth, daring the other to come at her. You won't.

She damn hoped not.

Kivi smirked as she watched the other female fall over on her side. Kivi didn't pin her like she wanted but knocking her over was good enough. She watched as the other stood and snarled at her before throwing an insult at the Dotharan wolfess. Usually Kivi would charge at whoever called her a moron, but she found this female to be to fragile to attack, and wouldn't see it as a fair fight.

"It's not very nice to call people names" she said and sat down waiting to see the other's reaction. She wondered if the stranger would have the guts to attack her.

"Moron isn't your given name?" she feigns surprise. "I wouldn't call it a name as much as I would call it who you basically are, as a wolf." A shit-eating grin was offered. At verbal combat, Tiger would certainly win against this accented woman. And if they kept it at that, good; Tiger really wasn't a fighter, but she did have a horrible temper. If Kivi managed to piss her off, Tiger certainly would go haywire.

It was a character flaw. She was working on it. But she was far as hell from achieving her goal of calming the hell down. Still, she was cool as a cucumber now that she felt (personally) she had chiseled her own point next to her name. Kivi 1, Tiger 1. Your move, moron, her snide look seemed to say.

Omg Kivi is so rude...

Tiger's grin was met with Kivi's smirk as she thought of something to say. "Now how can you say that if you just met me. You can't say who I am as a wolf if you don't even know my name." Kivi let her tail sway behind her satisfied with the little game her and this female were playing. "If I am a moron as a wolf, then you must be a two faced bitch, who becomes a whore at night."

The Dotharan wolfess smirk grew wider as she felt she had beaten the stranger. She looked at the other wondering if she could piss her off to the point where she would attack Kivi. Then the game would truly begin.

Tiger stared at Kivi, rolling her eyes at the others words. It was not until the other called her "two-faced" and a "whore" as one of those faces Tiger nearly lost it. However, given the other had used it in a manner Tiger did not recognize to be the manner, Tiger snorted and lifted her lip contemptuously. "Two-faced? I'm showing you the only face you and anyone else will ever get, moron. Far better looking than yours, at least. And anyway, calling me a whore is what envious morons who can't get any do. Color me unsurprised that's the insult you'd try to use." Tiger's smile reaches her eyes, overjoyed to try and best the other with her wit. Fighting was a battle she'd likely always lose (but she'd be damned if she didn't try). Verbal battles? Oh, she crushed those.

So for the moment, Tiger did not feel inclined to attack yet; her buttons had not been pushed. A fight could still break out, but the thought that Tiger might push this injured wolves buttons did not occur to her. No, Tiger felt somehow safe; as if she'd earned a totem in survival that guaranteed she'd not be touched. Stupid, really. But so far so good.

so is tiger, sass-queens 2015

Kivi laughed when the other continued to spill insults that where supposed to offend her. The Dotharn wolfess was truly having fun with the stranger even though Tiger was most likely annoyed, but she wanted this activity to be even more exiting. "How about we make this even more fun. I'll give you a ten second head start to run away and if I catch you, you'll become my little slave." With those words out of her mouth Kivi stood and took a step forward towards the other. "If you get away then your free to go, and I will leave you in peace"

Kivi watched to see what the other would do, and hoped she wouldn't just stand there and so absolutely nothing. That wouldn't be very entertaining. Inside of the Dotharan female's mind, there was no way the stranger could outrun her. Kivi had trained herself to run miles and miles before having to stop and rest, and the only reason she stopped was because she collapsed from exhaustion or was throwing up blood. Speed was Kivi's greatest advantage in life, and she intended to use every drop of swiftness she had locked away to catch this stranger.

"How about no," she snorts, wolfish brows raising. "You're the moron here, not me. Lookit you. You're made for running!" Tiger knew a runner when she saw one. Oddly enough, Tiger had the build of one who could run and one who could fight; but she hadn't ever determined a path to take, and so she sat in limbo, not a brilliant runner and also not a brilliant fighter. She wasn't even average. Below-average, maybe. But she knew enough to hold her own...

Still, she had a feeling that this other wouldn't fight. If they wanted to, they would have already, wouldn't they have? Those cuts ought to make her a badass, but Tiger now saw more mouthy wolf who was probably put in her place. Tiger was mouthy, just, not to the wrong people. Certainly not to people she believed could kick her ass... which meant a part of her felt (unjustly) safe in the presence of this Plains wolf. "A ten second head-start... come on, you hound! Still hardly fair. I saved you from a skunk. And you want me to be your slave..." it made sense, though, in an odd way. Kivi likely saw her as brainy, and the tawny stranger had none of those... a smug grin lit her face then, feeling very important, and very needed.

The entire time Tiger was talking Kivi was blocking out the sound of her voice. She didn't care what the other had to say and was only concerned about chasing the stranger. However it seemed she picked one of those annoying wolves who just kept on talking. She flattened her ear to her skull and let out a growl and Tiger.

"1...2...3" she began and looked to Tiger to see if she would keep talking or actually run now. Kivi prayed Tiger would run so she could have some fun for once. Little did the other female know, but Kivi would not actually capture her. Wolves were to difficult to control and Kivi did not want a wolf like Tiger with such a big mouth.

Tiger was for sure one of those annoying wolves who kept on talking. It was how she got others to leave her alone and also how she got others to befriend her. Hopefully here, it was the former case. And since Tiger did not know, even as Kivi began to count, Tiger did not run. "Go home, homegirl, you're outta your element." And, then, "...4...5...6..."

Kivi officially hated Tiger. The Dotharan female found herself wanting to kill a lot of wolves in these Wilds recently. She just figured she would have to get use to the natives around here, but still some just annoyed her. It became clear to Kivi that no matter how hard she tried this wolf wasn't going to run.

She let out another growl, but this one held annoyance in it. "Your no fun" she said and used her paw to through bits of dirt at Tiger.

The other words caused Tiger to laugh. "I'm loads of fun!" She lowers herself into a play-bow. Unlike Kivi, Tiger didn't hate her, just thought the woman to be a bit dense. Hey, it happened. Sometimes wolves weren't bring, and sometimes they were. "Come on," she grins now, tail waving, "Lets just play tag or something, not, I-catch-you-and-you-be-my-slave." Tiger tilts her head, willing to compromise with at least a game... but hell no was she going to play to be a slave at the end of it! The dirt settled on top of Tigers furs, and she grinned cheerily despite it.

Kivi let out a sigh, but smiled when the other got into a playful bow. "Fine, I guess I can settle for the boring tag game." Although she would prefer to play her game, Kivi realized that tag was much better than nothing. Kivi lowered herself into a playful bow, mimicking Tiger's moves. "I'll give you a ten second head start" Kivi said making the decision that she would chase. The plains wolf figured it would be easy to catch the pale girl, and hoped that this game would be entertaining.
