Wynter was lost. Lost in her emotions that was. She hadn't slept in days, not since her latest conversation with her... She didn't even know what she could call him anymore. Friend? Certainly not mate. He had ended that one. The words still stung as the replayed like a broken record in her mind.

Wynter wandered aimlessly around the forest. The hunting caches were full so there was actually nothing for her to do right now but think. She found a large shady spot under a tree and lay down with her head on her paws. She let feeble tears run down her cheeks but she was sure she would run out of them soon. She had done so much of this lately that she was wondering if it was possible to ever run out of tears to shed.

No one was around as far as Wynter could tell which meant that she could be left alone to her pit of depression. It was probably best if no wolf discovered her here but at the same time. Wynter longed for the company of someone. Anyone.

Sorry you had to see her like this. Not a very good first impression but hey. @Gunnar AW but let him post first.
Maybe I can use this for a counselor thread for Gun?

Gunnar walked along the borders and further into the territory, sort of lost in thought. He still had no trades to call his own, it was lame really, lame and stupid. Sort of just like him, he was a waste of space really sometimes, at least that was how he felt. He was loyal though, and that had to count for something right? He shook his head and continued on, dispelling the thoughts as quickly as they came.

He could maybe be a counselor that would work. It didn't make him have to move a lot, and it helped to keep his head from being too sore. He heard a soft sound and followed and came across the female, Wynter was it? He wasn't sure, he stood and shifted his feet for a moment debating what to say. Finally, he chuffed gently and let he know he was there. Are you okay?
I never got to meet either of you, hope it's ok if I join

Oliver was trotting through the trees, going to check up on Arion and see how his detox was coming along. His teeth clutched a few peppermint leaves he planned to offer the warrior to help with his nausea. But Arion would have to wait, for Oliver was sidetracked when he bumped into two other members of his pack.

The female's cheeks were streaked with tears, and the young man next to her appeared to be consoling her. Oliver backpedaled, simultaneously feeling concerned for his pack mate and guilty for intruding on her at what was obviously a bad time. "Should I just leave?"
Wynter was laying there wallowing in self pity. Her ears twitched as the sound of pawsteps nearby. Please don't be coming over here. She thought.  To her disappointment a chuff sounded from beside her. She thought for a moment and decided company wouldn't be a horrible thing. She looked up briefly from where she lay to see a ginger male she hadn't met before. He was from this pack however he had the scent of the rise on his pelt.

"Do I look okay," she muttered wryly as she licked some of the tears away from her maw. She sat up looking at this wolf. She wondered what it was he did for this pack or what made him decide to waste his time with her petty problems. "Don't mind me, I'm just here because i thought no one would be around to find me," She shrugged. "Turns out I was wrong.

Just then another wolf showed up. Another young male of whom she didn't recognize. His fur was black like Reek's. This wolf seemed a little shy however and immediately asked if he was interrupting something. "Hey I have an audience," she joked . "You can stay or you can go that's up to you," she said with a shrug and a glance at the black wolf.

It appears Wynter had chosen the wrong spot to wallow. Turns out there were a few wolves hanging around the area. She couldn't deny she was a little tiny bit happy with the company. At the same time she wondered if she was better left alone. For now though, she would talk. "I'm Wynter, since I dont know either of you I figure you probably don't know my name either," she gave a small smile. It was the least she could do if they were putting up with her weak sense of humour right now. In a way it was how she dealt with her problems.
Gunnar smiled softly, no you really don't, but i'd like to help if i could. I'm Gunnar. Gunnar settled to his haunches and twitched his ears backwards when another wolf came forward. He smiled at him too and gave a small wag of his tail.

Gunnar looked at them both. I'm gunnar in case you didn't hear me fella. And how are you today? Then he waited silently with a small thump of his tail ever so often. He didn't mind waiting her out, he was here to listen and learn. Maybe he could help maybe not, but he hoped so.
Oliver has been away for a while I don't know if he's going to reply to this so I'm going to skip him. If @Oliver comes back and wants me to change it. I will.

Wynter sniffed slightly and looked at the amber wolf sitting before her. He seemed nice enough, she didn't see why it wouldn't be worth a try to at least enjoy the company of the others. "I'm Wynter," she said her tail twitching slightly. "Reek, the Alpha male is actually my ex mate. I'm almost 90% sure he has something for the Alphess though. I've been struggling to control my emotions lately because I still care about him. It's all my fault that he left..." she trailed off.

She had always thought she might be with him forever. Clearly that wasn't the truth. She had screwed up and now she got every bit of what she deserved. She no longer felt welcome here in the Rise. She had no one. Saena was a great friend and all but with her and Reek being virtually inseparable. She found it hard to find a time Saena was in fact alone.
