« @Cyn  Because promised»

Cry waited until nighttime to recircuit the border. As silent as his usual lifestyle, he handled the border. More of scent was passed down, and he moved on. More scent, kill that squirrel, cache, move on.

He had silence to thank for the wandering thoughts on his mind. Who were the two wolves the pup named? Peeridot? Bulder? Names unheard of. He was determined not to get in anyone else's business, for secrecy was a massive piece of him, but who were these wolves to that unique pup?

Cry had his suspicions. The child barely had the scent of the pack, yet there was something underneath it. Another whiff could only lean him closer to that thought. Who was this pup, and if it wasn't their own, why was it in the pack?
His brain could only piece so many parts together without the help of the Alpha.
Cyn seemed to be lost. Her mind yelled at her. What an idiot you are! How can you get lost at a time like this?! God her brain was annoying. Her pack was probably in trouble and she was wandering around. I've been moving for a long time now, I'm either going in circles or I'm going to find a pack somewhere. Her paws were clean as always and her coat was the same. Should she yell out? No, that plan was probably going to get her killed or something. She continued on her way when a scent flew into her nose. A wolf. The wind was strong and going downwind which meant she was lucky to have caught the scent and not be attacked yet.

The female started to back away from the way that she thought the wolf was going when she stepped on a twig. It snapped in half and sent a SNAP echo through the air. Oh she was dead meat now. Her fur stuck up and her lips moved off her teeth showing her pearly white (not to mention sharp) teeth like she had done many times before. Cyn got into a fighting stance and got ready for an attack.
«I'm sorry for all of my derpishness. And hoping she's being smart, atleast...Behind border, right?  »

The instant that twig snapped, everything in Cry ceased. His breathing. His movement. Cardiovascular was the only thing active. A nanosecond passed, and as sudden as a shark caught the scent of blood, he rounded and faced the silhouette.
The wrath of winter flared in his stare, optics the only illumination of the midnight cloaked hessian.
A voice that could only be described as the dangerous crack of ice on the frozen lake you stood on eminated from his maw.

"I'm giving you a count of 3 to get back farther from the border, or my face will be the last you see."

His body tensed as he strode in the direction of the lone wolf.

"One."

Fuck two.

"Three."

And the chase was on.
Yeah luckily she could smell all the wolf scents there. Also she's probably going to swear a bit.
After three Cyn ran harder than she ever did in her life. Her was bigger than her. A deep dark growl escaped her throat as she debated on turning around or face him and fight. Cyn was strong, she could do this. Once she was far from the border she turned around and her eyes filled with fury. Adrenaline was pounding its way through her blood. Her ears flew back and her teeth found their way out again. Her breaths were deep making air seep into the darkest corners of her lungs."I knew where the border was fool. Do you think I'm an idiot. The smell was heavy enough to tell me that you ass." She could smell Chev's scent on him, so this is where the pup was. He was probably spying on the pack. She wouldn't blow his cover if he was, so she wouldn't mention it.
"It doesn't matter whether you did, or didn't, girl. I wanted you farther away from the border."

Out he strode from the cover of darkness into the moonlight, facing the fae.

"If anything, you should be grateful you ran into me, rather than the Alpha,"

A smirk lightly touched his maw, the only hint of amusement she was graced to receive.

"He wouldn't have given you a count down, and you sure as Hell wouldn't have a family to go back to."

The dark prince stretched, then sat, his obsidian pelt swaying methodically in the moonlight, despite the near nonexistence of breeze.

"What are you doing in this neck of the Wilds?"
Whatever. She thought after she heard him talk about the borders. She could see an ebony figure standing in front of her. She didn't care if the Alpha came out and killed her, she wouldn't go down without a fight that would leave tons of wolves talking about it for centuries to come. Her pack would surely attack the place and leave with either victory or a new enemy. She didn't like this guy, her thought he could be funny. Oh what a joke that was. The family part had crossed the line. "I have no family and I sure as hell wouldn't care if my parents begged for forgiveness and then dropped dead I still wouldn't forgive them. They left me to die, so both of their blood shall be on my fur." She wouldn't mention her foster mother, but she wasn't family that much, more like a caretaker for her.

Her lips covered her fangs. She licked her lips to give them a little more moisture. They had dried out a little while she was running. "I got lost. The storm at my pack was powerful and I couldn't smell or see my way back." This wolf was giving her questions, so she would question him back after he stopped asking.
A tilt of his head was all Cry offered the fae after her first statement. Not only had she thrown her life story out to a stranger, but to not consider her pack as family.
Ouch.

The ebony soon replaced his perfected mask of 'I truly don't care what you're saying right now', but then he imperceptibly sniffed her scent, and he almost choked on how similar it was with the underlying smell of the new pup.
Interesting. He better play nice, then.

Raising an eyebrow to the femme, he remarked,

"Brave thing you did, traveling alone. If I knew the name of your pack, I might be able to point you the right way. "

After a brief second, he gave her a bit of a smile.
Just a flash.

"And sorry on the jump to murder you...I'm just doing my job. Names Cry. You?"
Can didn't call her pack her family because they were more than that. Blackfleather was her life. She gave Cry a look it was a mix of you suck and I hate you . Cyn realized that her life was just told to someone she hardly knew. You stupid idiot! Imagine how awkward her feels right now! Her mind sure was feisty today.

She saw the smile and then blinked. Was she hallucinating? Surely this wolf who threatened her earlier wouldn't smile. Something was up and Cyn was sure of it. Body language was key right now."My name is Cyn. Don't forget it. I'm from Blackfeather Woods. If you want to live don't tell anyone this information."
The Blackfeather Woods? Oh really? The very pack his uncle had joined a while back.
Cry briefly wondered if he was still alive.

"I'm probably more informed than you of your own pack, than you are, Cyn. "

A bark of a laugh was issued, but recovered just as swiftly as it was released.
He had gotten his information.
That's all he needed.

"BlackFeather is to your southwest. Look up for the darkened sky. It's always cloudy, there. Always. And if that doesn't help you, follow the ravens. That's a major roost spot for them."
What? He must've been in the pack at some time. Her mind raced with questions. It must've been long ago since he didn't smell like the pack anymore."Well then. I think you might have some questions about that pup that I smell like. If not I think I should be on my way." If he knew the consiquences for telling then he could risk his life if he wanted to tell. She had remembered the names of yah pups when she had first met them in Lusa's den. A smile creeped its way to Cyn's face, but she shooed it off.
Cry furrowed his brow, a flawless imitation of intense confusion
More info, eh?

"Pup? I meant the actual history and background of your pack, not some pup. Where did pup come from?"

This girl thought she had a shot at making him cave, as if her presence meant anything to him.
Sadly, if she didn't fall for his façade, she'd be walking home alot sooner than she might have hoped. Even if it wasn't pack business, he would never give up an advantage to an enemy.
But since it was, he would rather go to his own execution.
She smiled. "Liar. I have been studying lying for quite a while now. It really helps when I need to be a caretaker. You may know about my pack, I do not care about that, you want to know about Chev. Also I can smell Chev's scent off of you. The scent kind gave stuff away. I'm sure the pack is okay without me right now. If you want I can give you info. As long as you die if anyone even knows about it." Her smile became evil. "If you tell I will personally come and tear your lungs out and then tear you up into little chunks of flesh, bones, and blood. I will also take your pelt as my prize." That was the truth.
I need some rest. It's like 3:30 in the morning where I live. See you soon!
Cry thought about this girl standing before him, who literally flashed him a flush.
Well, shit.
Glacials flared their anger icebergs shattering into the frigid abyss of his pupils, but he kept his voice calm.
This wretch.

"Meet me here tomorrow. Same time. You will have your answer. Now go, before my Alpha decides to relocate your heart. "

Before the fae could speak, the shadow turned and swiftly disappeared into the darkness of the Valley.

«Final post for me, and goodnight. New thread tomorrow. :) »
"Fine by me." Cyn had seen a lone willow tree not too far away. Could she spend the night underneath it? No, let's just stay here and die in the middle of the night from the Alpha. Cyn saw a patch of clovers and a single daisy in the middle of it. She mentally took note of it then  headed towards the way she had seen the tree. Her scent trailed back to it and she settled down for the night. -Fin, for now-
