@Peridot I think Lusa owes some mother daughter time :3

That morning, Lusa decided that the makeshift nursery was way too close to the borders. She didn't want anyone harming her little Dark Rabbit. Not after what happened to her brothers.

She gazed down at her daughter's form. "We're going somewhere safer Peridot," she whispered softly, "It's too dangerous here." She knew that her daughter probably didn't understand her, but at least she could hear her more cleary then before. Her eyes and ears were starting to open up more and she made lots of babbling sounds. Those sounds were so cute. She was so cute.

"I'm going to pick you up now, ok?" With that, Lusa grabbed her scruff softly and carried her outside. It seemed to be more... brighter then before. Lusa wanted to show her daughter the world. Show her that it wasn't always stormy and loud. She placed the bundle of fur on the ground and smiled down at her. "Isn't it beautiful out here Peridot?" She leaned down to lick the girl on her head. Lusa had grown onto the girl more than ever before.
Busy weekends!

The following days after the storm were quiet, more than ever It didn't take long to notice her brothers were gone. They weren't any where nearby which meant there was really no one to play with her besides her mother. To occupy herself she chewed on sticks and roots, then in other moments she would go around trying to taste everything she finds. Leaves, bugs, dirt she tried it all but real food was still prefered for sure.

Peridot's attention turned to her mother the moment she spoke. There was one word she was able to pick up. Peridot! Although she didn't exactly understand that it was her name but when ever that word was sounded the one who spoke it was usually looking at her. The word would be repeated if she didn't react. At the very least she figured that the word is used to call her.

Mother picked her up and brought her outside. She didn't really understand why but figured she could explore a little while she can! The weather was much nicer compared to the other time she was outside. It wasn't as draining as before so she felt like exploring. She had the energy to do so all day or that's what she would believe right now. Once she was put down she immediately began to sniff around and taste every little thing she could find. The word Peridot was sounded again so she turned and headed back to mother. "Peridot!" Said in her small but high pitched voice. She actually managed to say that word correctly. Peridot seemed happy about it.

Her excitement kept her from really thinking about anything. She was so easily distracted by all these smells and things to taste that only seconds after saying her own name she returned to exploring this outside world.
The mother smiled warmly as her daughter pronounced her name perfectly. She nuzzled the side of her warm body. "Yes! Peridot! My sweet Dark Rabbit." Lusa couldn't wait until her child got a little older. Old enough to know many words. She would then tell her all the stories that she knew. Whether they be relegious or tall tales. She wants to teach her the language her father taught her. And maybe, if her brothers turned up, she would teach them too.

Lusa walked further into the woods, careful to keep her pace slow. She didn't want to loose Peridot. Her blue orbs scanned the area. It was a mess. Nothing how it used to be. She looked back to face Peridot. She went into a playful crouch, wanting to get her mind off the scene.
Being alone was something she didn't want. Although she was allowed to explore freely she kept an eye on her mother every once in a while. There were many obstacles in the way. Branches and sticks were everywhere and some were difficult to get over but that didn't stop Peridot from exploring at the fullest. Even if she wasn't distracted by wanting to explore she wouldn't be able to keep up with mother unless it was a slow pace. Peridot had nothing to complain about, mother was still in sight and if she was a little too far for her liking she was rush to return close by.

Suddenly mother turned around and made a stance that young Peridot understood very well. It was play time which was a time she enjoyed alot. Instantly set into a playful mood Peridot reacted by crouching down just for a moment before charging at her mother. She wanted to take advantage that mother's head was lowered. The target was the ears and she was ready to do almost anything to catch it. She would jump or even twist around to get hold of an ear but what came after that was something she didn't think far enough for. It was an all in situation, how else could she catch mother's ears?
Peridot charged, running for her head. She kept her head there, so her daughter could get a hold on her ear. Her tiny milk teeth managed to go through the hole in her bad ear. It didn't hurt that much though, the bite didn't hurt so much. After all, she was still just a little one. Her teeth had barely grown in.

Lusa grunted playfully as she pulled away from Peridot's small grasp. She lifted one obsidian paw and softly landed it on her fluffy back. Her hold was loose because she didn't want to crush her underneath her paw. She leaned foward and nipped at her ears before tickling her with her nose. She loved special moments like these.
She got it! Mother's ear was within her grasp. She held on the best way she could and even pulled a little before mother pulled away. Peridot lost her grip on mother's ear, She was just too good at this game but just wait, one day, Peridot will be as good as mommy. Of course she would never be upset to having lost her grip because she knew what would follow after. A large paw was coming straight towards her. She didn't notice it fast enough to avoid it. She braced for impact and once contact was made she rolled onto her back and had her legs up into the air.

But it doesn't end there at all. Mother nipped at Peridot's ears then shifted to.. tickling! Instantly her legs were flailing around giving mother some small whacks if she didn't pull away. Her flailing at it's worse could give a small scratch but Peridot had neither strength or claws to do any kind of damage. At the small age she figured that it was ok to go wild. No one seemed to be getting hurt.

It was fun, she was enjoying it. Peridot decided to make a retreat. If she managed to escape she would bounce away over obstacles then she'll turn and lay down once after a small distances. She would wait for mother to come to her before running away again. She wanted to be chased she wanted to run as fast as she could with all this space. But with the many obstacles around it wasn't that easy to get far quickly, getting over branches slowed her down significantly. Although Peridot didn't mind the challenge, it was only quickly tiring.
Peridot instantly began to flail her little legs around as Lusa began her soft assault. Shee couldn't help but giggle happily at her daughter's attempt to stop her. She continued to cover her in nips and kisses. It has been awhile since she had been able to do this. It was reliving.

She felt the snowy pup twist and turn underneath her paw. Lusa slowly lifted it up to give her a chance to run. She wanted Peridot to have some satisfaction too.
Peridot was loved and that feeling was quite important. It kept her from really suffering from loneliness. With her brothers gone there was alot less things moving around. With a strong motherly love she was able to brush off those negative feelings, She was able to stay herself. If peridot was ever to lose her mother, It would be like the end of her world. Even if the world ends there was still a chance to survive, learn, then heal. But that will never happen. Mother will not go away. Peridot will do her best to keep the last important wolf she knows and trust.

She managed to escape with ease, it wasn't as hard as she thought. Peridot was proud to have escape mother who was much larger. but would that mean she could avoid getting caught? She wanted to be chased to see how long she could evade. Being quick and fast was fun.

She decided to run and jump away but after a few seconds she stoped to see if mother was going to chase or not. She didn't want to lose sight of mother but she wanted distance to make her run at least a little.
