She'd been quiet lately, and solitary for the most part, if only because she was a hardworker. Usually, she was tracking a nearby herd she'd discovered. This was what she was returning from now, intent to inform Saena or Reek and talk to them about getting a team together to bring one down and put food in the pack's stomach. Tyrr had never given her much of a chance but now, she was grasping at the chance to flourish, out from under the strict rules of Coatl's Rise. The freedom that came with it was wonderful and she took full advantage of it though she came back every night; the pack was too new for her to wander extensively.

Returning to the forest, Nocta fell into step along the same path that the leaders had begun to wear down, pausing along the way to rub up against a tree or leave a scent mark here and there. With pep in her step, the inky female started a quick patrol before going to find someone.
Forward dated to present day?

Ever since his promise to Saena to try to be the wolf he was before, the one she respected, Arion had been working hard to patrol the lands, fill the caches and make use of himself. The Greek had always been a man of his word, and he wasn't going to change it now. Besides, he felt like it was time to prove to the leaders that he could be useful when he wanted to, that he could change and stop himself from becoming the complete arsehole he had been when he was a drug addict. Things were going to change; Arion was going to make them change.

The stallion started on another patrol, easily finding a path that most of the pack used and began renewing the scent markers. Pissing here and there, kicking some grass, scratching some bark and more. It wasn't long before he noted a scent of a fellow packmate; it wasn't one that he was well acquainted with so he was unsure of what to do for a moment. Arion made up his mind soon enough though and chuffed softly as he neared the dark figure ahead.
Absolutely! Thanks for joining! :D

The chuff caught her attention, dark ears snapping backwards to catch the trail end of the sound as she slowed in her step and turned to face who was seeking her attention. Another wolf, of the woods here no less. Yes, she'd seen him here and there, perhaps glimpsed at him when she roved the forest throughout the night, making sure those who slept here were safe. In a "hail fellow, well met" motion, the Amazon smiled, her tail wagging as she doubled back to meet him.

Instead of a normal greeting, emotions high for the herd nearby she had found, the female switched down into a play bow, grinning as she watched for his reaction. Should he be too stiff for her antics, she would temporarily make nice and have some idle conversation with him before flitting off to go find one of their alphas. Should he not be too stiff... Well... Who knew? But she'd have a better grasp of his personality too, which would not escape her observation, her ulterior motives hidden in the movement. She wished to learn about him, as she would all the others of the pack, and learn how to interact with them each individually.
Arion watched as the dark female ahead of him slowed and turned to face him. He cocked his head, remaining utterly silent, wondering how she would greet him. He knew ways of greetings were an important way to gauge someone's attitude, their personality, the way they did things. And while the Greek had been more of a warrior than a tactician since arriving in Teekon Wilds, his skills were still as sharp as ever and would remain as sharp as ever.

The female smiled and wagged her tail in greeting; Arion smiled in return and canted his head slightly as if saying 'nice to meet you'. Then she bowed playfully at him, a grin plastered on her features which made him wonder how this wolf was Citali's friend and how she was able to put up with someone as bossy as the brown shaded female. Arion pushed those thoughts aside for now as he smirked his crooked smirk and dipped his head to her.
No weird looks or demands about what the hell she was doing, but he did not mirror her reaction, only nodding at her. Her grin remained but she stood up rather than remain in such a ridiculous position. "Arion, right?" She'd seen him around and while they'd never had one on one contact like those, Nocta did talk to Citali. Quite frequently, actually. "Nochtli. Pleased to meet you."

Still smiling, her thoughts burned, identifying this as the most normal meeting she'd experienced with the Woods wolves (that's fun to say, woods wolves). Indeed, her first time meeting Reek had been in a muddy marsh where they had frolicked and messed around, having a good time. Saena, the first time meeting her had been running out that old hag who has no respect for Northern boundaries and led a pack of rapists.

Nope, Arion was definitely the most normal. So far, anyway.
