The golden wolf was rushing through dark woods, close to the place she called her home not to long ago. Her mission was meeting @Burke, the Alpha male of Blackfeather Woods, and she was nervous as hell. The black wolf must be thinking that she was now part of Redhawk Caledra, which she was not. She had failed her lesson and it was killing her.
Her paws carried her over the soft, woody ground and when she reached Greatwater Lake, the place where she met Burke for the first time, her lung felt like it was on fire and hew paws were aching. She stepped inside the cold lake and cooled down before she let out a deep howl to call Burke.
She was nervous, but she did not want to join Blackfeather again anyway, so she hoped that Burke's anger would not affect her too much. Maybe Burke would actually understand Ayana and not get mad at all... No. He would probably try to kill her.

Ayana swallowed when she was waiting for the black male to arrive. Hopefully he would come alone and not bring Meldresi, or worse, Grimnir. Ayana hated Grim, although she could not deny that something about him made her feel rather attracted to him. But there was no way she could ever deal with the shame that would be brought over her when someone else other than Burke found out about her failure. The cold autumn wind made Ayana shiver a little, and she hoped that Burke would nt get too suspicious from her scent. She tried to rub off Jade Fern Grove's scent as much as possible, though.

Suddenly she saw something moving. A wolf. Burke. He was here. Showtime.
Burke was patrolling then he heard the distant howl that was meant for him. His ears perked up and the large male stopped in his tracks. He listened and realized that the howl was meant truly for him, thanks to the great lake it echoed. The male knew that howl. Ayana! She finally had time to give him some information. Perfect! For once in his life Burke hurried towards a howl. He instantly started to gallop away from BFW and to the lake as the night grew darker. The male was very keen on getting some insight. Now they could start planning the next step to lure Sebastian out of his pack lands so he could kill the young male. Perfect Perfect.

Burke felt very pleased, making him go even faster as he moved to the female. He only hit the breaks when he saw her and made sure to go into the water so his scent wouldn't too much spread to the female and it would betray her position. "Ayana! Finally," he spoke, almost sounding relieved and almost... happy. His docked tail even wiggled. Though it suddenly stopped and the alpha stiffened when the wind blew Ayana's scent to his nose. She didn't smell of a pack, faintly of wolves but definitely not the strong RHC smell he was expecting. Instantly his eyes narrowed and he let out a low growl. He came from the water, no point in keeping his scent from her. He went from very pleased to super displeased. His ears flattened and his teeth ready to be bared. "What happened?," he snapped.
The female wanted to die when she spotted Burke running towards her in a hurry. His tail was wagging, he clearly thought her mission was succeeding. Suddenly he seemed to have noticed something. Her scent? Possibly. Or maybe the look in her eyes when she looked to Burke. He looked better than when she left, and it was breaking her heart that she had to disappoint him.
Immediately, Ayana let out a whine to beg Burke to not be too harsh with her. Ayana looked down onto her paws, her tail lowered. "Burke, I am sorry...", the female started with a whiny voice. It was all her fault. Her voice broke off. If the girl could cry, this was what she would do in this moment.

Shame, hatred for herself, disgust. All negative feelings in the world combined could not possibly describe the feeling Ayana had when Burke expressed his anger. She was shaking, her heart was racing and small whines came out of her mouth. "I am a failure, Burke, I failed, they...", she said, but swallowed her own words. Embarassment. Shame. Hatred.

"Burke I failed, I am so... They didn't let me in, they ...", Ayana said, looking up to Burke. She felt like dying.

Omg I really am sorry...
Burke looked at the young female before him. The worst of this all wasn't that she had failed, it was the fact that she hadn't come home to them. It made Burke question her loyalty and it made him feel betrayed he saw the members of his pack as a family, even Lusa and Grimnir. Burke scowled at the female, clearly displeased. One thing he was very good at was closing himself off. He had sometimes a lack of empathy and he was feeling no remorse to the female. Especially not if he would realize who her new leaders were, Sciftcurrent Scum. Scimitar was the male wolf that had bitten a chunk out of Meldresi's ear.

He stayed eerily quiet for a moment as the girl was clearly affected by what happened. "Black Feather Woods would have been there for you. How come when I say something no on takes it seriously?! I said you could return whatever would happen and you didn't. I am not sure but you even smell of another pack," he spoke in disgust. "Is that how you treat the wolves that were there for you as a family?!," his voice so calm when he spoke, that was the scary part. "You are a traitor, Ayana." If the girl even knew about the bonds she formed. Lusa had been sad to see her go, even Burke missed the golden hue in pack meetings. "I like to see "FAIL" at First attempt in Learning. But seeing you just turned your back on us makes it all too clear that you are a disloyal rotting piece of scum."

Oh don't be sorry! IC isn't how I feel OOC. ;) I actually think it is really interesting for Ayana's character development.
Ayana was shocked when she heart the mean words spoke about her. Suddenly she heard a quiet whisper in her head, as if her mind was talking to her again. But it was different, this time it was a male's voice. Her father's. You do not deseverve anything in this world, everything is still too good for you. You disgraced your pack, your family, me. And worst of all, you don't regret it. You would just do it again if necessary, do not lie to me about that, Ayana. Your name disgusts me. You disgust me, you bloody ... My daughter, HA! Leave, wolf. Leave, and never come back.

The golden wolf stared at Burke, terrified. He spoke just like her father. He hated her because she was a disappointment. Again.
"Burke, no! I never ... I could not come back, I just couldn't...", the female said. Her voice broke off and she stared at the ground. It was like she was bleeding inside and did not know what to do. All she did was stand there and cry. She was a failure. Even Burke thought that.

Sorry it's short, I'm super busy :(
All good!

Burke knew he was harsh on her but the female had betrayed him and if there was one thing Burke hated when it was being betrayed. The alpha would have been more than okay if she would have come right back to him instead of running off to another pack now. The girl looked broken by his words. Good. She was no longer welcome in Black Feather. "Well perfect because you are no longer welcome," he pointed out and raised his chin a bit. His pale cold eye fell down on her with clear disgust. What most annoyed him was that she tried to trick him.

The male snorted and shook his head. "To which pack did you even go? Who is your new alpha?," he asked, she hadn't gotten into RHC, or maybe she never went there in the first place. Maybe she joined another pack because she disliked them. Could be. Burke wasn't sure, all he wanted to know was for which alpha she had betrayed him.
Ayana's face felt like it was melting off her skull, this was how hot she felt. Embarrassment and anger was burning inside her like a fire and the female wanted to scream, to let it all out. But she did not want to ruin this any further. Burke was still her old Alpha after all and even if he did not believe it, she respected him. A lot.

"Scimiar. Jade Fern Grove is my new ... place.", Ayana said quietly. She did not call it her home yet, because it was not. She was part of the pack, yes, and she was glad about that. But it was not her home yet. In her heart, Blackfeather was her home, a home she was now not welcome any longer.

Ayana looked down onto the ground. She could not look into the disappointed eyes of Burke any longer. She felt like dying. The fire inside of her was killing her. Being rejected by her own father had not been as bad as this. Blackfeather was the place where she felt accepted, loved, cared about. But she fuc*ed up. It was her fault, and she knew that.
Burke's eyes almost popped from his sockets when Ayana said that. Because that was the one male he had a rivalry with. He was so close to grabbing her and giving her a killing bite. All his troubles would be done. He actually let out the most viscous snarl after she spoke. His paws digging into the ground, think of Meldresi. Think of Meldresi. This female was very lucky he was mated to a female that had more morals than him. Very lucky. Burke was still a killer and his way of dealing with certain things was just to make them go away from his life. Same with that Sebastian. He wasn't telling Ayana that Scimitar was their rival.

It made him think, did she betray him from the start? Did she trick them while he tried to trick others with her? Was this all an act too? Burke was disgusted. "Get out of my eyes, if I ever see you again it will be the end of your life," he snapped. He gave her a moment to flee if she would ever dare to come before him again then he would make sure he would be the last thing she would see before she would die.

Omg poor ayana xD
Ayana's heart broke when Burke spoke the words that would haunt her forever.
The female liked Burke, she liked him a lot. Too much to be mad at him.
Disappointment. Anger. Sadness. Yet, the most painful of all: Emptyness.
Her new home? No family. Yes, kind wolves, but no family.
Remedy, no remedy. How would she recover? Get better? Feel full of love again?

Ayana shook her head in disappointment and looked at Burke one last time. She let out a quiet cry and whispered: "I am sorry, Burke. I never wanted this. Goodbye."
Heartbroken, she left the setting. He was mad, extremely mad. He would not stop to kill her right now, he would murder her because she was a failure. Failure. Failure. Failure.

The golden wolf quickly blended in with the dark shadows of Blackfeather Woods, a place that she would not see again for a very long time.

As long as ooc everything is fine haaha <3
Ooc everything is fine! Last post!

Burke didn't say anything anymore. The whole deal with Ayana and hurt him deeply too, he might not show that but it did. He had put a lot of time and attention in the female. She showed promise and loyalty. Yet, now after her first mission she when to the enemy. Burke growled at her as she left. She better realize that she was an enemy now. Burke would have some trouble trusting other members again and he disliked that. The female ruined his mood and his trust. She would definitely pay for what she did. Filthy traitor she was.

Burke moved into the direction of Black Feather, everyone would know that Ayana was their new enemy. Burke was certain of that. Nothing could make up for what she did.
