For Akhlut!

The ground was hard beneath her feet as she walked, her face set smooth as stone. At the soft 'tchks' in the trees she would pause to listen closely before carrying on, her fiery eyes suspicious. New territory was cause for such things. As she slowly came away from Blacktail Deer Plateau it left a bitter taste in her mouth.

Tchk.

That was one thing she would be happy to be rid of -- suspicion. As a lone female it clung to the wanderer like a thick cloak. Each movement was subtle, though showed plainly that she trusted no one and no thing. Each bone in her body was tuned to the note of survival, and she couldn't help but feel tired at the thought of another season spent alone with her twin sister -- who by now was probably back at Sadaakat with the rest of her family.

Tchk.

The 'tchk' echoed hollowly through the trees and the fur along her back prickled before laying still. There was silence still and then a silence so loud it was as if the forest took in a breath before a doe burst through the trees. Branches crackled and spat like fire as she pranced through Aysuns vision. Snow and ice cracked from branches as the doe brushed passed the trees, and Aysun's eyes tracked the hinds movement with a predatory gaze. The Savas girl took a moment to watch appreciatively as the doe -- toned to the note of survival it seemed -- darted into the shadows and was lost in the protection of the trees.
