It was raining, but not hard enough that Pasha felt the necessity to tuck away inside. There were flashes of lightning with claps of thunder to follow, just the ease of the rain as it came down. He moved what seemed effortlessly through the wood, pulling inward towards the depths of the grove following his steadfast approach to checking after the borders. That was coming naturally now, even if all he did for the moment was attempt to trail after his father. Sometimes he followed Kaskara too, and sometimes, just sometimes, Pasha was willing to risk it and go on his own.

On that day, those borders had been eerily quiet, much like the rest of the woods. It was probably better that way, since he decided he wouldn't have to put up with someone trying to escort him back from them. Alternatively, he wouldn't have to put up with someone trying to drag him out of the pack, either. Or chase him, much like the bear had to his mother and siblings. Which thankfully, they were back again, and in turn Pasha could not help but be standoffish to what had happened. Much like a thunderstorm would give him unease, he was uneasy in their presence. Something had changed there and more than just in a physical sense and the youth did not understand how to handle it.

So he sought out his other brother, one he had unintentionally distanced himself from if only for the fact that he was very distinctly his mother's son. To him, Whittier may as well have been the elected crybaby of their litter. The sibling that was much more content to be doted upon and coddled, while the rest of them were out playing in the mud and earning disapproving looks when arriving nothing short of dirty, dirty creatures. His approach brought him to one of the many places he believed to find his brother, and tentatively, Pasha called out for him.

"Hey, Whit? You here?"
