The gray ghost had patrolled well into the early hours of the morning, briefly accompanied by the quickly rising Aasivak. Since then, she had seen dawn break on the far off horizon and deemed that moment the one where she began to scale the mountain and find her way to the hot springs that she and Iqniq had discovered. Dawn shed little light on her path and yet, she had no issues picking her way up the land until she came to her intended destination.
Hesitation was not present as she stepped into one of the springs, the warmth a shock to her nerves but a welcome shock all the same. Step by slow step, the Beta continued until she could sink the full mass of her body, save for her head, into the waters to let its heat envelope her. With a relaxed sigh, Nanuk settled into a comfortable spot, almost constant tension finally slipping away to leave her quiet and content where she was.
