To his mother's one step, the boy took two or three, sometimes six or seven depending on how distracted he got. Doubtlessly, her firstborn son always caught up with her. With his father, he was more apt to wander off but tried no such thing with his dam. While he didn't fear a toothy correction from Ananak, such things didn't feel very good. He would rather avoid those fangs for the moment, if he could.
Besides, for the moment, the towering structures ahead of them caught his attention. Racing ahead, the nearly three-month-old pup bounded atop a ledge, climbing up a bit to get a good look at the spires. "Ananak, what're those?" He queried her, head twisting to look back at his mountain of a mother.
