Set in Melepha's Web

The newest member of Blackfeather hadn't had much time to observe his new home. With all of the tasks in the way, he hadn't the time to just take a breather. A day long of exploration couldn't hurt right. Besides, a break away from chores was much needed.

Mikasi trotted through the wood, until his indigo eyes spotted an entrance. It seemed to be leading underground. He had never seen the entrance to the Web, possibly because the male was just to busy. Curiously, the wolf poked his nose in, inching further and further until his whole body was inside. There was no need to turn tail, so he headed deeper inside, not knowing the consequences of the action.

Inside was a whole new world. It was damp, and up above were some glowing things that he had no name for. Mikasi slithered through the different tunnels, finding that most were incapable to move in due to large amounts of water. He stayed far from the smell.

Soon enough, he realized that he could explore very little of these tunnels because of the water and tried to head out. Unfortunately, he found it very hard to find where he had once came from. He was lost in the underground.

Embarrassed of this mistake, he sat down, thinking of how the bell he would escape. He didn't want to howl for help, since that would be even more embarrassing. He would soon call for help if there was no hope of finding the exit.
We can turn this into a spar for both of us if you want

Sniffing around the walls of the Web, she found herself looking for Meldresi's herb store. The thought of going through the Dark Queen's things pained her, but she needed the medicine. She couldn't exactly remember where they gone that day, only that it was located somewhere in the tunnels. It was too soon for her to ask one of the spiderlings, as she didn't want to come off wrong. They were mourning, and to drag them out to Meldresi's workplace didn't seem fair to her. She could find it on her own.

The ground was thinning out, instead, being replaced by cold, murky water. Presumably from the storm she had been most fortunate to miss. A light shiver coursed down her spine as the water sunk deeper, going higher and higher up her legs. No, this wouldn't do. It was getting close to winter and the last thing she needed was to get sick already. Turning away to go in the opposite direction, her paws clenched into the mud, making various stubborn squishing noises to her avail. Great, just great, She fumed. Pulling her limps away as hard as she could, they finally gave way. Now, the mud had risen past her kneecaps and coated in between her nails.

All of a sudden, her nose twitched, a faint scent reaching her sniffer. A growl played on her lips, growing more audible by the second. Now, anyone nearby would hear the echoing anger of her pissed of voice. Growing closer to the scent, the realised it was of Blackfeather. Nevertheless, it was a new scent. New meant new impressions. And frankly, right then, she couldn't care less.
The underground, it was very... quiet. It had a sort of calming tone to it. To Mikasi, it was very likeable. It was like the troubles were washed away. He could actually have time to lay down and think about life.

But as soon as he started enjoying the silence, a growl broke it. It became louder and louder. Closer and closer. The man stood it his paws, fur bristled and in a fighting position. What was coming towards him was unknown, so he didn't know if it was friendly or not. Ears pulled back and a snarl forming, he was ready for something to jump at him.

As the sound came near, things became more clear. There was a darker form, a wolf. A wolf with the scent of Blackfeather. His ears shot up and his muscles were slightly relaxed, though he was still tense. He wasn't sure if he liked this girl's demeanor. He smirked as he lay eyes on her somewhat annoyed form. "Didn't anyone tell 'ya not to sneak up on people like that? You'll give someone a scare, sweet'eart." He tilted his head to the side. "You look like you came 'ere to rip someone's face off or 'somethin." The female did indeed look like she was having a bad time.
From the get go, she didn't like this male very much. At all. His whole demeanor was much too male dominating for her liking. It was good that wolves were starting to trickle into Blackfeather again, yet she couldn't help but to disagree with certain members. Blackfeather was a place of darkness, and every member had to have a part of darkness within them to strive. Those who didn't always ended up leaving, regardless of what they claimed to be.

"Well, who knew you were so fragile" She replied, bittersweetly. The male gave off an arrogant tone, in her biased opinion. And in truth, nobody had ever told her that. The complete opposite really, she had been taught to kill silently and without much flare."Don't call me that" Her voice instantly turned sour, a angry look flared up in her eyes. Nobody got to call her any nicknames (minus the boy Xan) and especially not something as revolting as it. It was the equivalent to calling a killer 'pudding cup' or 'carebear'. It just wasn't right. Jokes set aside, the truth dug deeper into her broken history.

"And if I was? Would you be scared?" In truth she was testing him, to see what he was made of before she could decide on a final judgement on him. She doubted his answer wouldn't be anything but ''I ain't 'fraid of 'nuthin" but she would have to see.
He gave a light chuckle at her response. "I wouldn't say fragile"Fragile? He was anything but fragile. Cocky, stupid, jerkface. Definitely not fragile. He had a shell of cold armor on the outside.

His smile grew wider at the female's response to the little petname. "Well get used to it sweet'eart. Don't know your name so I'll just call 'ya that." Even if he did know her name, he wouldn't really call her by it. In fact, he never really did call anyone by their real names. They usually slipped past his mind so he just liked to make them up as new faces come along.

His slender head tilted to the side slightly at her question. "'Fraid of you? Well, that depends," he replied, walking up closer. "I barely know 'ya. Don't know how 'ya fight. Should I be afraid? You tell me." Frankly, at this moment he wasn't afraid of her. He knew nothing about her and what her overall personality was. Why be afraid now?

He backed away, keeping his eyes locked on her. His mysterious indigo eyes were now cut in slits. "You like to spar?" he asked with the same cocky grin plastered on his face. "Well, I'm willing to see how 'ya fight." He lifted his tail confidently. "Up for the challenge, sweet'eart" Yeah, that's right. Get the blood to boil Mikasi...
She found herself smirking maliciously at the male's arrogance. He was truly clueless if he thought he would get away with calling her such things.

A low growl started to churn inside of her, not at all liking the close proximity between them. Who did he think he was? If he hadn't been of Blackfeather, his blood would have already decorated the walls of the tunnel. Instead, she leisurely but not without a dangerous air did she circle him, her icily cold eyes not leaving his. "Let me be very clear on this, I am not to be tested" She snapped, close to pulling the "I'm a higher rank than you" card if he didn't learn quickly enough.
She wanted to show just how scary she could be, just how much fury laid in her heart. But he was a packmate. "You should be very afraid, if you know what's good for you" She whispered maleficently as she approached the proximity of his ear.

"Are you sure?, you may get hurt" She teased, with a straight face indicating she could care less about his well being. Infact, she couldn't care less about half the packs well being as long as it wasn't life threatening. All the other had proven to be stronger than injury, stronger than fear itself. Those who had left were cowards, and she couldn't wait to see what made this one tick.
One could admit that she had flare. Her poisonous words could infect any. Quite a scary sight. And her actions could just add on to that. It could be quite intimidating for some... just not this guy. If she wanted some real ounce of respect, then she could earn it on the battlefield. It wasn't like he didn't respect his packmates in some form, it was just a matter of his childhood. Earn the right to be respected, that was the rules.

His wide grin turned into a satisfied toothy smile. "Go wild. Let's see if you can back up those words of yours." He lunged forward, teeth bared and aiming for any body part he could grasp his jaws on. Enough talk, time to fight!
A simple side step and a malicious smirk was all it took for her to prove her dominance. The fact that the male even thought he could hurt a hair on her head made her want to cackle vividly, as if. Yet, she had to give it to him, he had true spirit. It was something Blackfeather needed instead of the glooming darkness that inspired them. Respect from the male was not something she desired, it was simply required no matter the tense feelings they had. She would not submit to anyone but the Alpha, and if Mikasi wanted her too, he would be sorely mistaken. She had enough of the "I'm so amazing" crap that every newcomer seemed to think they had. Once you joined Blackfeather, you started at the bottom until your essence was integrated into the dark system they ran on.

"Hmm, you're going have to do better than that" She fake pouted, wicked amusement held in her eyes. Her hackles were raised and her body in a tense stance, but her ears had not yet flattened, wanting him to get riled up before she really became hostile. While he ran on brute force, she was fast but still not afraid to get her hands dirty. Yet she knew she couldn't sidestep a spar, sooner or later she would have to go in teeth and claws. In any case, his determination would be his downfall, he just didn't know it yet.
Instead of the sweet sensation of fur in his jaws, he got a mouthful of air. Mikasi spun around, ears pulled back and head low. So was it speed that she relied on? Well, that was his game too. Though sooner or later, either one could catch the mouse at the right moment. Once in a lock there was no zigging and zagging out of it.

The woman seemed confident. It wasn't a bad thing to him. Once he would win, it would be more sweeter to spit at it. He would get his pride.

Mikasi wasted no time going back into action. Only this time, he rushed her. He was intending to knock her off her feet and pin her. For any other wolf, the man would use his teeth to get his way, but this was a packmate. It was a crime to spill blood of brethren.
Deciding against her previous motives, she would let the male have his fun. It was better to get their hopes up before she crushed their little fantasy world where they could actually beat her. Mikasi was skilled, clearly. Once properly trained, she could see him being a fine warrior but as of that moment, all she saw as an over egoistic, self righteous teen who thought he was all the buzz. That just wouldn't do.

She fell back before he could make contact, giving him the "upper hand" Or so he thought. The lighting was dim and her coat was dark, the lesson on blindspots would do nicely. She was fast enough to duck out of the line of his teeth to the back corner of his hide, where his vision did not extend. Tease him a little then attack from behind was what she planned, yet she would not underestimate his actions.

He was strong, no doubt, but she had grown. She was still young, still in her second year. Despite the way she acted. She had more force than let on, more power than she would admit. While whoever claimed victory over the duel, she would prove to be all victorious, and wold prove it to her last breath.
Not sure if she attacked him from behind or not. Just gonna assume she did, please correct me if I'm wrong :)@Nemesis

He was able to knock the female down with both strength and swiftness. Or so he thought. Not aware of her tactic, he didn't expect the next move. She dodged his muzzle, seeming to disappear from his sights. Soon after did e feel a sharp sting from behind.

Growling, he whipped around, thrusting his body towards her feet to knock her over once more.
