Just being accepted into Blackfeather woods left Oli feeling excited, but not yet trusted by his pack mates, who he has yet to meet.
He trotted along the border, his eyes scanning for a good hunting spot, when he stumbled across a murky swamp. He slowly walked towards it, hoping to catch a glimpse of his favorite meal, heron. His eyes scanned across the water as he slowly inched his way to the waters edge. His paws were covered in mud, and each step became a chore.
A loud splash made Oli jump as his quickly turned to see what had distributed his focus. All he saw left was ripples in the water. He decided it was a frog and the resumed his hunt. As he got further into the water, he began tripping on hidden vines. Once the water was half up his upper leg, he decided turning back was the best option, there were no birds.
Oli slowly made his way out of the water and back onto the muddy bank. He shook off and mud flew everywhere. His eyes twinkled in amusement. He walk onto the solid ground and sat, he couldn't greet the other wolves as some kind of worthless stranger talking up space.
After finishing his patrol, Mikasi decided to just take a walk through Blackfeather. Despite his legs aching a bit, he still wanted a better taste of his new home. Besides, he was one to enjoy sight seeing.

It wasn't long until he could see a dark figure fluttering past in the distance. Instinctively, the coyote colored male decided to follow. At first, he believed it was the ill-tempered female he met in the tunnels. Maybe he could piss her off a little more. It was amusing the last time. Maybe this time she would be less fiery and up for small talk. Who knows?

Alas, as he followed the shadow and watched his actions from the shadows, it was concluded that it was not his sparing partner. Instead, it was a stranger. Every time he moved, Mikasi would follow. Indigo eyes examined the male as he tried to hunt something down. Usually he would introduce himself, but he didn't want to disturb him.

When the male turned around to escape the mud, Mikasi followed behind. He stopped and sat down when the other had. Maybe this mysterious male would be able to detect him now.

Aaaurg! I kept loosing my posts D:
Oli began to grow weary of his surroundings as his eyes darted from the water to the surrounding trees. His spine began to prickle. He felt eyes peering into the back of him, melting two hole into his back. His slowly turned to the left, looking for the stalker. His head completely taken from his hunt. He stuck his nose into the air to stiff. He breathed in, hoping the scent of prey would overwhelm him. He could smell another wolf, but it was faint, masked by the scent of the smelly swamp he had chosen to hunt in. His ice blue eyes scanned the area, picking apart anything that seemed out of order, or anymore unfamiliar that it already was. Panic struck his and his eyes geew wide. What if it was another wolf hunting him?
He made the hair stand on his back a bit as he double checked the area. He did notice a light brown figure tucked away behind him. It stood out like a sore thumb compared to the everlasting greens and dark Browns of the swamp. He let his fur lie flat as he carefully approached the figure.
Once he got close enough he could see it was another wolf. The closer he got, the clearer the other wolf got. Oli quickened to a trot until he was about a wolf away from the stranger.
"Hello, I'm Oli." Oli mustered out, his blue eyes shining, glazing his uncertainty of this new wolf.

Sorry about your posts getting messed up :( thanks for joining in too by the way.
A wide, toothy grin spread across his maw as the male finally noticed him. To a newcomer, it would look very eerie. Like he was some maniac trying to kill someone. But all he was really trying to do was be nice. It wasn't his fault wolf grins didn't look welcoming!

He stood once the male approached him. He didn't want to appear like some bug bad wolf, so he wagged his tail just to look... well more friendly. As friendly as he could get anyways.

The male before him introduced himself as 'Oli'. "Hey Oli. I'm Mikasi," he stated. "You new 'round here?"
Oli bowed his head and replied with a friendly tail wag. His eyes brightened, seeing that this wolf was welcoming to him. Oli looked down at his paws to see a muddy mess, all the way up to his knees.
He felt embarrassed this was how he was presenting himself to a new wolf, as he was usually clean, when he wasn't hunting of course.
"Yes I'm new. Just got accepted a few days ago. Are you new?"
Oli cocked his head and wagged his tail.
"You are the first wolf I have met sense I got here, so I'm sorry if I seem pushy." As he talked he tried to casually scrape off some mud from his paws. He looked awkward, like he was trying to reach an itch in a weird spot.
"I'm sorry I look so great today, I feel like I'm edgeing you out with my hot socks." Oli said in a playful tone, wagging his tail.
He nodded. "Pretty new," he replied. He still had lots to learn about this place. Of the sights, the smells. The different places. He most definitely needed to know about that underground system. Seemed like the most interesting place so far. There was Redgrove too, but he was forbidden to go there. At least for the time being. He was told that the birds were ridding of an old member's body. Whoever that could be.

Mikasi smiled warmly at Oli. "Nah, it's fine. It doesn't bother me much." He was actually trying to meet some of the members. There needed to be a bond formed between the male and the others. "So, where did 'ya come from before you came here?"
Oli brought the corner of his mouth up to a smile. But Oli didn't know how to respond.
"Eh, I was kinda a loner. I left my pack early." Oli didn't really want to talk about it, he didn't know much about his past besides fending for himself. Oli liked Mikasi.
"What do you like to do? Hunt?" Oli definitely wanted to know more about him, seeing if they had anything in common. He didn't want to sound pushy, at all, but he really was interested. He hasn't talked to another wolf besides when he met Damien and the others.
He nodded. "Me and my sister left together, but then I might have ditched her." Mikasi gave a un- hearted laugh. "Guess that makes me a terrible brother. But, hey? What could 'ya do?" Migisi needed to learn how to survive without him. Sure, he could of bought her with him, but why should he? That relationship wasn't supposed to last for long anyways.

"Yeah, it's a hobby, he answered. "I mean, we all need to know to hunt right? 'Ya know. To survive."

Blegh, short post.
Oli strained his ears to listen to Mikasi's story. He was slightly surprised to hear he had a sister, and the fact he ditched her. Good for him. Oli didn't remember much about his upbringing, the only thing he really remebered was he didn't know his mother or father, and he was adopted by a male in his old pack. "You're not a terrible brother." Oli said. "Have you ever lived anywhere besides Blackfeather woods?" Oli asked, but was quickly distracted by a small lizard that ran across his feet. He stomped his paw down on it, crushing it. Lizards were hard to catch, and they weren't the biggest meal, but they were one of Oli's favorite foods. He picked it up softly, between his front teeth and placed it between the two wolves. "Have you ever tried lizard? It's one of my favorite foods, and they can be hard to catch." Oli laughed. He probably sounded like an idiot, but he pushed the small tid bit of food with his nose towards the coyote colored wolf.
He shrugged to the words. "I guess. He had a choice. A choice to bring her here along with him. Yet he did not. The reasons why were unknown.

"Mmmhmm...," he hummed, nodding his head. "Back where I came from, I lived in in a Tribe. We didn't call 'em packs where I came from." A lot of things were different back then. "We all got names that matched with our animals. Mine was Coyote, in other words Mikasi. I'd rather be addressed as that." the name 'Coyote' was reserved for only special people, such as family and leaders. "But uh, had 't leave for reasons I'd rather not discuss.

He watched the lizard scatter under their paws, which was quickly seized by Oli. He laughed at his little remark. "Nah, I find snails the worst to catch,
" he chuckled.
Oli respected Mikasi reason to be addressed. "I understand, and I will address you how ever you want me to." Oli said, nodding his head. "We do not have to discuss you past life if you think it is better off left out. I apologize for bringing it up, I just wanted to get to know you." Oli said, ending with a smile. He cocked his head and scrunched his nose up at the snail comment. "I have never had a snail." He grabbed the tail off the lizard and lightly shook it. The tail immediately detached from the lizard. "The tail is no good, it's all bones. Try the lizard, I promise you will like it." Oli pushed the scrap closer. "If you eat it." He paused for a second, and a shiver went through him. "I will eat a snail." He said.
