Tagging @Lasher for visibility <3

Dante had made his offer to @Osprey and she had accepted, a fact that made Dante somewhat giddy.  He knew she was willing to go, but he was excited by the prospect of showing her what it was the place held.  Maybe then she could gain some excitement about it as well.  It just so happened Lasher planned a trip as well, likely to check on Blue Willow and ensure she was faring well.  So their paths of course coincided.

At the moment the Beta (soon Alpha) was running ahead, no doubt eager to reach his mate and their future brood.  Dante stayed behind with Osprey, their course more leisurely.  There was no urgency towards their travel and he did not want to push her so soon after she returned.  The month's appeared to have been hard on her, though he said nothing of this aloud.

They skirted a rise to the west of the mountain he knew to be claimed, their path leading them well around the boundaries.  He hoped their relations would be cordial, but had yet to recieve confirmation on that so chose safety in distance.

He looked up at the cliff face as they went by, still amazed that some would choose to make their home in such inhospitable terrain.  The magnificence couldn't make up for the hardship.  Conversations with the dark woman on her own peak had left no doubt on that.

He didn't break the silence at that moment, though he did glance at his traveling partner then.  Those thoughts invariably led to his and Lasher's choice of forest and the reactions the rest of the pack would have to the piece of ground.  This one in particular.  He didn't doubt she would make do with whatever this new home had to offer, but he still couldn't help but feel a lot rode on this trip.

Along the route they did talk some, about mostly inconsequential things, but friendship didn't really require much more than that and he was happy to just share time. He'd wondered perhaps if time might change things, but it appeared that wasn't so.

Wrapping and archiving as a one-off :) since we are past this now lol!
