Heat, the definition of death for everyone including Cyn. The female was always feisty and a little bitch during heat. Currently she was taking a piss while her core and burned like hell. She finished her business and walked off. Cyn had a huge headache and felt hormones run through her. The voice in her head didn't help her head.Little sis, calm your fucking tits."No! Fuck you and your fucking voice! You are like a fucking phantom! That's your name now fuckass! Phantom! Because you are here and not at the same time! You are a fucking piece of shit that just wrecks my life!" She was on the verge of screaming when she yelled at him.
Some of the women here were in heat. A dangerous position to be in with the males that dominated this pack's ranks. Quiet could smell the lust and blood oozing off of the forest. She was not attracted to it; she was more terrified to go near it - males were unruly in the grips of a woman's spell and she had too many unwanted encounters when she lingered around a female in heat.

But, somehow, she found herself in hearing distance of the woman in question. The woman was screaming at someone. Alerted, Quiet rushed over as quickly as she could, terrified that the woman was being forced into unwanted sex.

Her concerns, though warranted, were not needed. There was no one there other than the heat-swathed woman. Quiet opened her mouth and produced a barely perceptible squeak - no chuff has ever exited her mouth - to gain the woman's attention. Her body pressed down submissively, showing the brown and tan woman that she meant no harm.
Cyn heard a small noise, much like a mouse. She turned around to see a wolf, a female to be specific. Her emotions had changed drastically seeing that it wasn't a guy who could smell the scent she had. A sigh escaped her mouth and she looked at the hybrid of canines. She smelled like all three of the animals, which confused her. Cyn had never seen an animal like this."I'm Cyn." She greeted being cautious and slightly pissed off still from Phantom."My apologies for scaring you." She could tell by the stance of the female. The smaller girl was silent though, which confused her more than she was before.
The heat-drenched woman introduced herself as Cyn. The silent waif nodded, committing the name to memory. Quiet nodded again as her way of accepting the apology, then straightened her form, her body showing her relaxed manner now that their situation had been resolved. She doubted that her anger was brought on by anything other than hormones. There was no need for grudges or anything of the sort. Quiet sat there, blinking at the woman curiously. She had so many questions that she wished she could ask. Instead, Quiet lifted a paw and pointed to her throat, opening her mouth and then shaking her head. Hopefully, this pack consisted of wolves who were adept at reading body language. She thought they would be, living in such perpetual darkness.
"Oh I see. You can't speak. I think I heard about you. Your name is Quiet right?" Cyn had some background with reading body language since one of the puppies from her adoptive mother had refused to speak for awhile. She had to read the language at an early age to understand the puppy. "I'm sorry if I seem too nosey with this question, but are you a hybrid of a coyote, dog, and wolf? You kinda smell like all three." She felt as if she had invaded some personal things, but she ignored the feeling.
Ending thread since Cyn is inactive

She was glad that the Dark Brotherhood woman spread the word about her name. It certainly did make conversations move much more smoothly than having to go through the same song and dance each time. Quiet nodded, a small smile flickering across her face before disappearing once more. She was pleased, and felt a bit more comfortable around her wolf. Her haunches settled down onto the ground underneath her, listening as the wolf asked another question. Quiet again nodded. She did not know her father (and by the way her mother had spoken of him she did not want to) but he had been a coydog, half coyote and half dog (some tribe called a husky from the north), while her mother was a pureblooded wolf. And yet she carried all three scents on her, alerting everyone to her mixed heritage, if they could not see it from her body alone. It had offended some and angered others, but the heated female's curiosity and eagerness in the matter surprised her slightly.

Sensing Cyn's urge to be alone, despite the fact that she was a female herself, Quiet excused herself with a gentle quiet, raising herself to her feet and walking away.
