Haven was back. She'd been on her own for a long time since the accident. Separated from her family, who she'd only recently found, and her boyfriend. He Sebastian. She'd twisted her leg out on a hunt one morning and gotten snowed in. It took her a while before she could even move, not to mention the snow piling around her. When she'd finally managed to make it back, her family was gone. Devastated, she followed them for a long time. It had been a hard choice, either following her beloved sister Maja or her brother and boyfriend. She never thought she'd say it, but she had found someone who meant more to her than Maja. Her Sebastian. So she follows Aduin and Seb, hoping to catch up with them.

It had been a hard month on her own with her new limp, but she'd managed, starving and tired. She'd thought for a while that she'd never see any of them again. But she'd caught back up to Aduin's trail and was pursuing him now. She was determined, she would find them. His scent was now mingling with an unfamiliar one, and yet it was familiar all the same. Something about it reminded her of Sebastian's scent. A pack scent. But she put little thought to it, her focus was finding Aduin. Once she believed she was in range of him, she let loose a howl, splitting the air for him.

I'm here Addie! Please, I need my family. Her broken hearted cry turned to a whimper as she became dizzy. Haven was like a doll. Beautiful and happy, until it is broken. But like any doll, she could be fixed with a little love.
Gonna tag @Maja. Cause she might be nearby

Aduin heard another familiar howl along the wind. Close to the pack lands. This time, he knew it. Haven. He bolted out, not bothering with anyone else he came across. Shooting across the ground as fast as his legs could carry him. Until he came to her, skidding a few feet away to a halt. Gasping for air.

He stared at her, looking her up and down. In disbelief. His eyes welled up. His stance showed he was a little on edge as the same feeling of betrayal he had felt when he came across Maja arrived. Then came his first words to her since she disappeared. "Where were you?" That was all he wanted to know. Maja had not mentioned her when he found her. Had they been separated? He had to know.
He came, a smile broke across her face as she saw him pelting towards her. She was expecting a hug, at least some form of loving gesture, but no. Not this time. He stared at her angrily, sadly and confused. Haven stared at him, breathing heavily as he asked his question. She stared for a moment, wondering what was different about him. He wasn't as scared, he was stronger. Being with Sebastian seemed to have touched him up a bit.

She held up her hurt paw, it had begun to tingle and hurt. She wanted to go towards him, to hug him, to cry in his soft grey fur. But he wasn't ready for that. He deserved an explanation. Hunting. I was out hunting to bring you all a snack. The snow started falling harder. I slipped and twisted my foot. I was hurt Aduin. I'm sorry! I couldn't make it back in time, you had already left! But I followed you. Her words had trailed into a frustrated but sad sob. She choked a little, swallowing her tearful words.

I followed you for an entire month! All of you left. Where were you! She really had no right to be angry at him, but she was. She felt that it was partly their fault. Why hadn't they looked for her? The beautiful young female looked at her brother, behind her angry facade, her yellow eyes were full of hope and a plea for understanding.
Aduin withdrew his anger, but the sadness remained. He had thought they had run off. But really, it had been an incident while hunting. His tail fell a bit, his ears wilting. He wanted to hug her, but what she said next had him frozen. He was taken aback by her anger. He had rarely seen her angry, and had almost forgotten how angry she could be. But from it, his anger started to rise again.

"We were looking for you! For you and Maja! And she came by not too long ago!" He stopped himself from shouting more, taking a few deep breaths, relaxing his stance once more. "Winter was close, and without you two, the idea wouldn't work. So he took me to Redhawk..Where I have a new home." A new home he knew she wouldn't be able to get into, because of the current size.
Aduin's next words stung her. She realized then that she'd only made him angrier. She stopped, letting her blood fizzle back down to what it was before. She took a few deep breaths and looked back up to him. Maja had been by here too? Why hadn't she stayed she wondered. Had Aduin rejected her? Fear rose up from her belly and into her mind. What if he rejected her too? She would have to continue her search alone. Could she really do that? She had though that she'd find Aduin and together they'd find Seb and Maja and be a family again. This was all wrong.

The young grey female noticed Aduin's change in posture. Luckily he'd relaxed more. This allowed her to relax as well. Hopefully they could turn this conversation around. She nodded her head in understanding. Winter had faltered her movements as well. She was only glad that Seb had taken care of Aduin. She almost felt pride in her heart for seeing how well Seb had rubbed off on her younger brother. He had become a stronger wolf, more confident a man. It brought a faint smile to her face.

I'm so sorry Addie. I should've tried harder to get back to you. I could've tried harder, I just... I don't know. I just didn't. But I don't love you any less? I didn't want to lose you, and I won't ok? So please just don't give up on me. Haven put her heart into her words, hoping that Aduin would listen.
Aduin had simmered down, giving his sister a longing look. He had missed her, and so had Sebastian. It had taken it's toll on both of them. Though he was unsure which of them had taken it the worst, the nervous wreck who tried to act brave or the tough guy that was sometimes a big softie? He would only know when Seb came back. But would she remain here, nearby? She wouldn't be able to come into the pack, and Aduin had a promise to keep. That he was going to stay here, until he came back.

Eventually, he gave in and ran up to her in a wolfish hug, wrapping a leg around her neck. "I missed you!" he sobbed. The sobbing went on for a while, his tail wagging uncontrollably. It wasn't entirely out of sadness, but also happiness.

After it had ended, he withdrew the hug. He had to tell her now. "I've joined a pack...But, it's full. It was hard to see her when she came to join." Of course it was sad, having to watch his sibling get rejected. "Sebastian went to sort things out with his father. He promised to return." He stopped, thinking whether Seb would even survive. And if he would ever actually return.
Haven then saw Aduin, his old self back. She'd won him over, she could see it in his deep chocolaty eyes. He ran forwards and wrapped his front legs around her neck. She smiled through her tears, letting her head fall into his soft chest. She felt the rise and fall of his body and the warmth his heart provided. She had missed him. I missed you too. She replied, her eyes trained on the snowy trees behind him as she silently thanked the world for giving her a second chance.

Aduin finally pulled back, giving her some room. Obviously he had something more to say, and by the look on his face it wasn't good news. She didn't need to say anything, her face said it all. She had just found her sibling, and now she was being rejected again. She couldn't join his new pack, which meant she'd have to go away or be one of those weird lingering rogues who the pack ends up chasing away. All she wanted was to be with him. But she'd be ok, from what Aduin said, Sebastian hadn't been able to join either. She could go find him, at least they could be together. That is, if Seb still cared for her.

So she quickly vanished her sour scowl and replaced it with a loving smile. Always be happy, it's your duty to make everyone happy. Don't be sad. That's great Aduin! That you found a pack and all. It's ok, I still need to find Sebastian anyway. You said he went to find his dad? She asked, hoping to change the subject from sad to happy.
Aduin cringed when he saw his sister's face after he told her. He wished it weren't so,  but the same issue had happened with Maja. He would be alone in the pack, until Seb came back. Hopefully to retrieve him after seeing the pack full. Then maybe their idea would be fulfilled again. All just hopes and dreams for a child.

He nodded at her question. He did not say where his father was, but maybe Seb had told Haven where. "Yes, his father. I don't know where, but he said he would come back." And every day, he waited for his call so that he would be among family once more. "He wasn't too happy with you disappearing" he added just quiet enough for her to hear. "But we stuck together."
Haven nodded, however from what she knew about Seb, he didn't like his father very much. Maybe he'd decided to face his dad. It made her happy almost, to know that the big softie had finally stood up to the man he seemed so bitter to. And then Aduin noted that Seb hadn't been very happy. She rolled her eyes in frustration, prancing on her toes anxiously. Yeah I knoooow, I'm so worried! I don't know what to say to him. I mean, I love him, and always will, but how do I tell him after I made him wait so long?

The beautiful female's stomach was full of butterflies. She was urged to itch at them and kill them all, but they kept her focused, she she left them be. She looked back to Aduin and gave his cheek a lick. She wanted to get the topic off of her own troubles and to know a bit more about him. So your new pack, they treatin you fine? If not just tell me and I'll give them a little somethin somethin. She smiled teasingly, wagging her tail a little as she looked over her dark grey brother. He looked well fed and healthy. Seb must've done a good job with him.
Aduin nodded his head, giving a hopeful look to her. He put a paw on her shoulder, staring her in the eyes. "Tell him the truth. That's what I'd do..Besides, when he comes back, and not with you, I'll give him a bit of a chat" he said with a wink. Even if it scared the heck out of him to do so, he would do it. For his sister. He secretly hoped this issue wouldn't happen to Maja, because he probably wouldn't have the guts to do it again.

"They are. It was Sebastian's old pack, so with his word I was accepted. It was by good luck that we were greeted by a good friend of his. At least, I assume he was." He wore a comforting smile, the best he had. The pack had been good to him. At least, he assumed, since he hadn't been kicked out yet. Though, he did need to show his worth still. Perhaps show off his hunting skills, but he would need help. His tail swept around a bit. The idea excited him.
Aduin's advice was good. Just tell him the truth, that's what she'd do. Haven smiled bashfully at his wink and nudged his shoulder playfully. She missed messing around with her brother, the two always had been good friends. It comforted her to know that her brother had her back. That he'd stick up for her the way she'd stick up for him. She only hoped that she wouldn't have much trouble with Seb. But she knew how bitter he could be, so she couldn't find him and expect a lovey dovey resolve just yet.

Sebastian's old pack, maybe this was the one he was always talking about. Sebastian told me about this pack, the red birds or something right? She asked, though it was a kind of rhetorical question for she continued before he could answer. Well anyway, I'm glad your doing good. She smiled, her tail wagging as well. Aduin seemed so excited and happy now, the feeling rubbed off on Haven making her feel warm and fuzzy inside. It was almost as if she'd never sprained her dumb foot in the first place. If only she hadn't.
Aduin nudged her back, then took a quick step back in a playful bow, his tail wagging excitedly. As he did, he replied. His eyes stayed on her with a playful stare. He wanted this to go on forever, to make up for all the lost time. But they would never have forever. "Something like that." He recalled it had something to do with red and a bird. He remembered something in it being 'Hawk'.

He wanted to do something. Something that would get their blood pumping. He quickly booped her on the nose with a paw, a cheeky grin on his muzzle. "Can't catch me!" He quickly ran a few feet away, stopping to look back to see if she would follow. But he did not know of her injury.

I can only guess that her injured ankle is gonna do something
Yeah, she'll be fine for a bit and then she'll start hurting and freak out :(

Aduin suddenly bounced up playfully, eager to get moving. He booped her nose with his paw and then shnecked away like a crazy little gremlin. She reared up into her hind legs, startled by the gesture and wiggles around in the air before her front paws again made contact with the ground. She winced as her foot hit the snow caked ground, it popped a little and hurt. No, this is great, this is fun, I will not have it ruined because of my damn foot! She thought, before clenching through and the pain went away. She smiled again bouncing to her feet and getting down, her butt way up in the air and her tail wagging joyfully.

She bolted towards him, every harsh step hurt her a little, but she could manage it for now. She was having too much fun to stop now. Haven chased Aduin around a sparse branched conifer and peeked around the trunk to find him. Her tongue lolled childishly out of her mouth as she panted, smiling like a fool at her brother as she followed him. She missed this so much, she wished it would never end. But all good dreams end with something bad. Who knew what could still come for her. But that was why she held on to this moment, not thinking about the past or the future. The time was now.
This is making me feel so happy!

Aduin didn't catch her wince as he turned when she started to bound after him. He went around a conifer, stopped, then went off when she came around. He had to make it at least a bit fair. So he turned, play bowing again with his tongue lolling out as he panted. Mischief clearly visible in his brown eyes. His tail sticking up before wagging more. He reared up, sploshing some snow up in a spray to surprise her. This was the perfect way to make up lost time.

How he missed these days. How he wished for Maja and Seb to be here and do this. How he wished for the whole family to be here. But life was harsh to those who lived with no worries. Without worries, without cares, without caution it was a dangerous world.
Lol same, sorry I had to ruin it though!

Haven leaped back as Aduin flung some snow at her face. She was having such a great time playing around with her brother. Every second was like a millions years worth of fun. Until she landed. Her leg buckled and she helped out in pain. She fell, her front knees resting in the snow her  rump still held high. She flinched, dropping her back legs to lay down. She quickly took the pressure off of the foot, whimpering in pain. She didn't want Aduin to see her this way. she wanted to show him how it was still the same 'fun sister Haven' her.

But this wasn't her. Feeling so broken when she should be happy. She felt like she was barely even a wolf anymore. She looked over to her brother and gave a tearful smile as she tried to stop her pain filled tears. Im fine really. It's just my foot. Damn thing. She laughed for effect, trying all the more to seem alright.
Aduin stood up, cocking his head to the side for a second. For the first second, he is confused as to where the yelp had come from. His tail froze in place, his ears perking up. It couldn't have been Haven. Then he pieced together her stature. He came running over, worried eyes looking her over. "Haven? What happened?" he asked with a demanding, worried tone, while also trying his best to stay calm. It was hard to do that.

What was she keeping for him. Why did she have to play it off. She was obviously in pain. He gave a comforting lick on her cheek, accompanied with a whine. Then, he laid out beside her. He knew there was something wrong, but there was nothing he could do until he knew exactly what was wrong. He had little knowledge of herbs. All he could do was stay by her side.
As Haven expected he would, Aduin worriedly came to her side, asking if she was ok. She wanted him away, she didn't want him to see her like this. She didn't like showing her weaknesses. Not physical ones at least. She was more than willing to share her personal troubles, but she always felt vulnerable when physically injured. It made her feel useless and powerless, a feeling she didn't favor. But as her brother lay by her side to lick and comfort her, she felt like she could tell him anything. She could be more vulnerable than a fen and still feel comfortable around him.

Its my leg. It's really alright, I swear. It's just when I put too much pressure on it, it hurts really bad. But I'll be ok. I think it healed wrong or something, that's why the limp. The grey and golden woman sucked in air with a painful whine as she repositioned herself. The main reason she didn't want Aduin to see how much she was hurting was because she didn't want him to feel bad about her not being able to join him. She didn't want to put more pressure on him than she already had. And really it was fine, she was already starting to feel the pain stopping. In a few minutes she'd be up and able. But a good healer would be nice.
Aduin gave Haven a stern look, unsure of whether she spoke the truth. He knew her to be strong in some occasions. But also knew how she hated being seen as weak. He couldn't just leave her here. But where else could she go? He knew not where Sebastian went, and whether it was safe for her to even go for, let alone to make the journey alone. And he knew she could not join him in the pack. He also did not know any healers, and did not know whether or not one would come if he called for one.

So he stayed there, looking at the ground. Unsure of what to do. Should he stay with her, or should he go and leave her? There had to be something he could do. Something unknown to him at the time. But what? He shuffled around uncomfortably. This was making him squirm inside.

I really did not know what to have Aduin do.
Lol it's ok, I can fix it xD Last post for me!

Haven came to her paws, feeling better already. She could tell how concerned Aduin was, but he really had nothing to worry about. She would be alright. Addie it's fine! Really I will be alright. I'll find a healer somewhere and I'll be good as new. Promise me you won't worry. You know me I always make it don't I? She gave him a friendly nudge, though her paw still tingled painfully. She didn't want to leave Aduin, she wanted to join his pack and stay with him. But she still had to find Seb, and she couldn't stay wit Aduin anyways. She'd be alright.

She decided now would be a good time to go, before it got any worse. She licked her brother on the cheek and sighed. I should really get going, it's getting late and I don't want your new pack thinking you have a girlfriend or something. I'll be back soon I promise. She teased him, shaking her head playfully. So many promises to keep, but she would try her best to keep them all. This time around for sure. She sat a moment to just enjoy her brothers company, and then stood, limping away to the north. She would find Sebastian, then come see Aduin again.
OK, I'll archive

Aduin flinched at her tone. And sighed, giving up with trying to help. She didn't want him to worry, so he would not. He returned the friendly nudge, except kept his nose there. Taking in her scent for what might be the last time. If only there was a way for them to be together. And Maja, and Sebastian. Family stayed together, but this family was broken. With a need for mending.

What she said next, that lightened up the mood. He gave a light chuckle and replied jokingly, "Actually, that might help with my popularity. But I get what you mean." He returned the lick with one of his own, accompanied with a low involuntary whine. He didn't want her to leave. But there was no choice, he had to. They both sat there, he longed for this to go on forever. Eventually, he reluctantly turned away, before going on his way. He would miss her so much, but he had things to do. Not only did this family need to mend, but so did he. He was broken inside. He needed to repair himself.
