Yo ho, it's a pirate's life for me, @Ferahgo!

Some are huge, but the baby sealion are easy to catch if you're quick enough to outrun the angry parents. Vixen had plenty of that, and she didn't waste a minute deciding whether she was hungry. She simply made her way across the smelly, sealion-rugged shore until she picked a target, took it by the scruff despite the mother's protests and ran off with her lunch. The seacub squealed and fought back, but Vixen shut it silent tearing it's throat out, then tore four or five chunks of meat out and left the rest (which wasn't little) behind for the scavengers. She'd had a lot of seacub lately.
He almost had himself a full crew just by scrounging the shores. The Captain was rather pleased; he need only choose for himself a ship. Yet, he would not pass up the opportunity to add more to his ranks. Especially if this crew turned out to be a fraction as ruthless as his old crew, and especially a shapely female.

He spotted the reddish wench from a ways off, and stepped past her discarded leftovers as he trailed after her. Like he had with the white female before, he simply pursued from a distance and savored the sway of her hips and the curves of her flanks.
Sorry these are short, I need it to be like this so I can manage two characters x_x

Vixen noticed, with a furtive glance, that she was being followed by a male from a distance. Her moves became evidently racier, and her champagne eyes didn't seek out the male's figure a second time. She was obviously taunting him, it was a reflex of hers at this point, used to the way every male's eyes would follow her hips back in Tortuga... Little did she know this was the exact same case.
No need to apologize. If you happen to read my posts I'm sure you've noticed that I am rather a fan of short quick posts. :)

He noticed that she had noticed him. He noticed that she did not mind, and even, offered him more of a show as she continued down the shoreine. So, with a predatory grin, he prowled even closer. Now, his nose could partake of the entertainment, and he could drink of her scent. Mmm... wait a minute. The Captain's paws halted. "Tortuga." he realized.
Well, that's a relief! :D
I love your writing btw... You rock short posts <3

He prowled closer, enough for Vixen's ears to flinch back the moment Tortuga was mentioned by the male. She halted as well, the name was unmistakable, and his accent very familiar, but the bandit thought she wouldn't be hearing about that ship again for a while. "Shout that again?" barked Vixen, looking sideways and swaying her tail hungrily.
Thank you! :) I find it rather inspiring having things move quick, and... well it
just feels good to only write what I feel rather than forcing myself to narrate about something I don't feel is important for the thread. Haha.

"Tortuga," he echoed, as squinted at her. The sun was not bright nor his eyesight poor; it was a reflex as he searched the dank recesses of his mind for some recollection of this female... but there was none. Tortuga was expansive, so it was not uncommon to have no knowledge of someone. But, full of himself that he was, he reckoned she ought to know who he was at least. "Have ye heard of Captain Blackbeard?" He inquired, turning his head to peer sideways at her.

Also, his namesake beard was much more evident when shown in profile.
I'll have to agree with you!

Vixen confirmed what she thought she'd heard when the male echoed his own voice. The blazing female turned around completely, scanning the male's body with curious eyes. This wolf was a pirate, there was no doubt, he had the rancid smell to prove it.

Captain Blackbeard was definitely a name she'd heard before, but good things were rarely said about him. The male's exhibition heped Vixen understand what he was trying to say, drawing a smirk on her face. "Aye," she confirmed, "They say he be a coward who threw his own father t' Davy Jones' locker t' steal his ship..."
The Captain twitched his ear as she relayed what she knew of him. "Is that so?" He drawled. Her recount was exceedingly oversimplified and not at all flattering, but his expression betrayed nothing about what he may have thought of it. "And what is it ye think, hmm? Do ye believe that tale? Is there anythin' else ye been told?"
The female hummed, smirking at the pirate. Her eyes looked up and down at him a couple times, noting nothing of impression. But he was a captain, and those were the ones Vixen like to play with the most. There was more to gain from them.

"That be what bin heard from th' boys..." she said looking away dubiously, and then her eyes trailed back to him eagerly, "Th' ladies though, they be more flatterin'..." she smiled, "But I be a skeptic, I don't believe everythin' I be told. I like to be th' judge 'o thin's myself." she teased, swaying her tail seductively.
Ferahgo did not take her words for what they were; he never did, ever a suspect of lies and ulterior motives. But, he was rather simple in some ways, and she was fortunate to have been blessed with a nice ass. It would earn her an offer of a spot on his crew. "Well yer in luck, ye can have that chance if ye swears yerself to me and joins me crew."
"Join ye crew? That sounds like a lot 'o ruckas..." she smiled. Vixen had grown attached to the pirates' way of life during her years with them, but in truth she didn't know any different. Claribel had been captured too long ago, and Claribel didn't exist anymore. Her ideas of what a "normal" pack would be did not compare to the adventures Vixen got lo live as a pirate; they did not appeal to her anymore. "Ye got it, Cap'n."
"Good," said Ferahgo. "Ye can make yer way down shore to where the rest of the crew is gathered. I will come to ye when the ship is ready." He left her to that, continuing on his own way without ever exposing his unguarded spine to her.
