@FitzDutiful @Alastor @Krypton @Moon Shadow @Peak Our team is on the Blacktail Deer Plateau side of the mountain. There will be four rounds- one round per item, plus this first round to get the clue from Fitz and strategize. To try and make this a little quicker, there will be no posting order, and you can post as many times as you want in the rounds. Please keep in mind, though, that others may not have the time to post as quickly, so give them a chance. Through dice rolls, the wolf to find the item has already been selected for each round, and I'll let you all know who that wolf is at the beginning of each round. I'm picking this up where we all left off in the first thread. This round will end Sunday, the 21st or when all team members have replied, whichever comes fist.

Their team gathered, and Steady was obviously excited about this activity. Krypton asked if Steady had a game plan. Well, not really. He was about to try and come up with something when Peak spoke up, saving him. It seemed the male had some ideas of his own. Steady nodded in agreement, and that's when Krypton spoke up again, saying exactly what he had in mind. I agree with you both. While time and efficiency are key, we need to keep in mind that the clues will give us the best idea as to how to search for our items, he added, with a confident smile to his team. This is just a game, so try not to get too flustered, and just have fun, he added, trying not to put too much pressure on them.

As Fitz walked over to them, Steady turned to face him, in line with his team. Do you have our first clue? he asked. He knew as soon as they got it, they would need to work quickly to decipher it and find the first item.
The white man was listened to, thankfully, but Krypton didn't seem to listen. They couldn't run forever, there would have to be some breaks. When Fitz came forward, he turned his attention to him.
They turned to look at him and he looked on solemnly back at them, though his eyes held a glimmer of mischief. It had taken a long time for him to come up with clues that weren't too vague and yet weren't too specific either. The hardest bit had been trying to ensure that the two teams got something equally difficult. So it was that he drew upon an experience with Mason for Steady's clue. "It seems like frozen ice and yet the walls provide no moisture."

That was all the help he would provide. Unless they were going severely off track; of course. He had faith in this team, but in the end it was - as Steady had said - a game. It was more a team bonding exercise than an actual contest and he hoped that it would help the pack get to know one another better.
The earthy woman's questions were answered about a game plan. Steady was right with his answer, time and efficiency along with following the clues correctly. Of coarse, it was a game and meant to just tighten the pack together. She smiled, nodding her head at the beta wolf.

The darker male had gone to get the clue, she kept her mouth shut and listened quietly. The clue was confusing, what could it mean? "It seems like frozen ice and yet the walls provide moisture." That confused the earthy one greatly, but her mind started to turn gears and started to put the pieces together. Frozen ice, no moisture.

Could it be a cave? A dug in den? If there is no moisture, it must be a sold object. Walls like frozen ice, not wet though. The woman was completely and utterly- befuddled. Her head tilted at the clue.

"A dug in den or cave perhaps?" She asked quietly, her tail curled over her back paws.
Moon shadow tilted her head very confused on what could possibly be the answer to the clue. She didn't worry to hard though for it was a game, but she did want the satisfactory in winning. She hadn't played many games before so it did sound lots fun, though puzzle part just sounded well... puzzling. She had no idea what the clue could be and hoped there some wolf smarter than her to discover the answer.
So sorry this is a day late! This is going to be Round 1- finding the first chunk of meat. @Krypton will find it this round, but anyone can suggest the caves.

The team gathered around, and Fitz gave them their first and only clue. His expression turned thoughtful as he tried to figure out what that clue meant. Steady wasn't very good at riddles, but he still racked his brain trying to figure it out. Krypton spoke up, thinking either a den or a cave. While Steady had been to the Glass Cave dens before, it wasn't a place he frequented, and therefore didn't think of it.

A team mate suggested the caves, and Steady nodded, Sounds like a good place to start! Motioning them all forward, the team headed toward the cave, Steady not wasting time and urging them forward a little. At this time, running would do them good, but he didn't want to push them too hard.

They arrived, and Steady followed his team in, his eyes looking around. It certainly looked like it fit the description Fitz gave them. Let's look around, see what we can find. Noses will come in handy here, he suggested, putting his to the cave floor as he began searching.
Yay! Krypton gets to find it :D

Steady seemed to take in the girl's idea of going to search for a cave or den, he agreed! Krypton wagged her tail and silently yipped with glee. This game was already fun to her! The team then moved out, running towards what she guessed to be the Glass Cave Dens. She had been there a few times, not plenty though to familiarize herself with the surroundings. He pushed on, stating that nose power would be best for use.

Nodding her head, the earthy one went to work. Her head was low towards the ground, sniffing for any scents of blood or meat. Although her nose was damaged still from the battle a year ago, it didn't mean it wasn't useful. It took her a while, but she had found it. A large piece of meat filling for the whole team, Krypton barked in glee. "I got it! I got it!" She exclaimed happily, sinking her jaws into the meat and dragging it towards the rest of her team.
I'm so sorry for the wait on this! @Krypton and @Moon Shadow, seeing as how Peak has gone inactive, and Alastor is out scouting, would you two like to continue this? I'm also going to change the outcomes due to the inactive team mates. There is no hint in this round, but we should use our noses. @Moon Shadow will find it this round!

Steady searched and searched, trying to look where the others weren't. The team was certainly diligent, and finally it was Krypton who found the chunk of meat. Tail wagging, Steady trotted to her. Awesome! Great job! he said, smiling to all the others to include them in it.

Knowing they needed to move quickly, he didn't linger long. For the next one, we don't have a clue. But, I'm sure that means it can't be too far. Lets look around the outside of the cave, he suggested, turning to head out. Nose to the ground, he began sniffing hard, trying to find some clue as to where the chunk of meat might be hidden.
No worries for the wait!

After dragging the meat prize out, Steady happily showed his cheerfulness in the game, making the gamma smile in return. However, the team had to continue on searching for the next item, the beta stated that there was no clue for this round, and relying on their noses would be their best chance.

Krypton nodded her head and looked towards the agouti female and flashed a smile. Attention back on the male, she parted her jaws. "I will check outside of the cave" she said, turning around to exit the glass caves. Silently she went to work, her nose inhaling all of the scents that lingered around.
yay finding things!

Moon shadow was glad krypton had found the chunk of meat quickly. She wanted so badly to win this with her team. She left the caves searching for the chuck of meat looking for any traces of the scents of meat or blood. She soon came across the scent and started to follow it. There it was!  Before she grabbed she wanted to notify her teammates though.

"Hey guys I found it!" she said gleefully. She grabbed the chunk of meat in her jaws and walked towards her teammates. She felt proud of herself to help her team in coming towards victory. She couldn't wait to see who would win games.
One more round of finding the meat, and then one round of them heading back to the mountain top. In this round, Krypton will find the meat! Again, no clues, but use your eyes this time!

Suddenly, Moon Shadow announced she had found the chunk of meat. His tail wagged as he trotted over to her. Great job! he said. He was really proud of how hard their team was working, and it seemed like they were finding the chunks quickly. He wondered if Mason's team was fairing just as well.

Eager to find the third chunk of meat, Steady continued. No hint this time, either, guys, but we're supposed to use our eyes, he said. His body instinctively wanted to start sniffing, but Steady did his best to look instead of smell. There were a lot of tracks in the area, both from the team, and from the leaders that had hidden the meat. Telling them apart would be a little difficult.
Moon Shadow had found the piece of meat rather quickly for the team, Krypton had beamed towards her. Her attention was turned again towards the praising beta, for he gave his next words about the next hunt. It was for sight, and there was no clue. Krypton nodded her head firmly, deciding to look around and really peel her eyes.

She started to look around, her swirly eyes seeking each and every corner of the cave. It would be impossible for there to be two treasures in the cave, so she went outside to check around. Her neck stretched itself, eyes constantly looking up and sown, left and right. She wanted to win the game, she was competitive.

It was then in her thoughts, she laid her eyes upon the reward for her tactfulness. There it was, right in front of her. Dangling in a strange way, how was it like that? Practically stapled to a tree, it was strange. Its fur blended in with the bark, making it almost impossible to see. She yipped with glee, hopefully loud enough for everyone to hear. "I found it!" She barked out, deciding to drag it close.
