Sorry this is a bit delayed guys, I am going to make the rounds 4 days long and hope everyone can manage that. If everyone responds sooner I will move the rounds faster.

Will’s no longer with us so Mason will suggest that we pair up for the first clue. @Moon Shadow & @Chaska are togeher ; @Mara Susi & Mason are together and we have @Zaria watching over us

Andrea has already determined who will find the answer to each clue by dice roll, and which team finds the answer first. I will PM the relevant people who figure out the answers, so if you don’t have a PM waiting, just post your reply to this round with your wolf floundering hopelessly!

Let’s win! Round ends 12:00 GMT on 21.02.2016

Mason bounded down the hill ahead of his team but he slowed once they reached sight of the flat plateau of Honeyed Pasture – the clue was on Silvertip so they needed to make sure they didn’t enter the pasture itself. He noticed Will dart off from his peripheral vision. Assuming the man had some sort of emergency, he made no motion to chase after him. They had a game to win! He knew Steady’s team would be hot on their tails so Mason grouped them all together and repeated the clue Dad had given him: Once upon a time I belonged to this land; then the ice came."

He looked around his team hoping that someone had an idea as to what this clue could be. Mason had no idea. He nudged Mara Susi excitedly and gestured. “C’mon, let’s head over that way and you can give me your ideas as we go!” Mason made sure his teammate was following him and headed east along the mountain, sniffing this way and that as though the answer to the clue would be revealed magically. “So what do you think it could be Mara? If the ice came do you think that means snow?”
For Zaria who knew the answers, it was so tough to not called them all stupid and that they should think. The alpha female had been in a quite mellow mood before but now she was starting to get a bit agitated. It was that she loved Fitz very much and she wanted to see how Mason took a leading role that she kept her mouth shut. She kept her green eyes on all of them, curious to see who was the smartest and if they accepted Mason's word as a beta.

For the female it was weird that she had to stay quiet. It was not normal for her to keep her mouth shut. Maybe it was also because she was feeling weird that she was more quiet. She still didn't know what was going on with her.
Chaska ran after the team leader, ready to hear the first clue. He came to a halt when Mason did with ears perked up and his tail wagging steadily. He guessed Steady's team would be hot on their heels, so Mason was quick with the first clue. Chaska certainly was one for riddles, and after a moment's thought, the answer clicked in his head.

He lifted his head high up so everyone on the team could hear him, but then realized the other team wouldn't be too far behind, so decided to lower his voice a little. "The edge of the glacier. It was once part of the land, but then the ice came. Covered the land." He went ahead slowly, going to the area to investigate at a slow enough so that his partner, Atari Silver, could keep up.
sorry this is late

The beta spoke of a riddle as a first clue, Atari had some idea of what it might have meant but kept it to herself. The girl didn't know this land as much as the others did and didn't want to be the one to lead the pack wrong. Though she was sure that decisions would be made as a group but maybe not. The beta might know about Atari's tracking skill and use her to track the object they were hunting for.

A male spoke about a glacier that was once apart of land but was covered in snow. This didn't make since to Atari, they were on land and its not cold enough to have a glacier stay a glacier, right? The female stayed quiet and listened for any other guesses, maybe from their ideas she could piece together her own. Though she wouldn't claim the idea as her own, since she got it from others ideas.
Sorry about the mass of confusion, it is Atari Silver who is in our group not Moon Shadow :) next round ends 28.02.2016 at 12:00 GMT as long as everyone has posted

It wasn’t long before Chaska piped up with the answer. Mason felt like smacking his face with his paw. Then again, it was always obvious once you knew the answer. “Good job!” Mason called as he beckoned to Mara and bounded over towards Chaska. The group moved together towards the Glacier. Mason kept a wary eye out for Steady’s team but they didn’t seem to be near. Indeed – when they reached the edge of the Glacier Mason could scent meat on the air –a deer chunk? Mason thought he could spot it off in the near distance

Okay Chaska, you carry that one since you worked it out, and then we all need to spread out and find the other one. Use your nose!” Mason pressed his nose to the floor and began to shimmy his way around the area. He thought he could scent it stronger over towards a large misshapen clump of rocks and headed in that direction, leaving his team to hunt wherever they wanted to.
Was it my turn? Sorry!

Zaria still kept herself quiet. She was told by Fitz not to tell them anything except if they really couldn't figure out what to do next. The pregnant lady was not that into this game, yet she had to keep up a smile to encourage the members of STM. Zaria was mostly interested to see how Mason would lead this group. The slender female stayed close to him, technically to watch his every move and not interrupt with the actual game even though she wanted to win.
Closing this up with a quick conclusion post, given that the round deadlines were not adhered to and this is outdated.

They didn’t take long to find the next cache – Mason found it in fact, but it appears someone from Steady’s team had located it first.  Then it came time for the last chunk. With their various meats in their jaws Mason’s team rushed back up the mountain towards FitzDutiful. They reached him first, and Mason led his team in a victory howl as winners of the game. The team building exercise had been a success.
