He did not know why, or how but he was there. Back in Teekon after a long disappearance. The yearling didn't know why he had left Silvertip, neither did he have a good reason. Maybe wanderlust, maybe disloyalty, who knew? All that mattered was he was back.

Issun had made a treacherous trip down to the scent of water. He had had a long walk and needed the drink. The charcoal male made his way to the water's edge, dipping his muzzle to take a drink. All the while, his senses were alert.
This would take place after Mal's encounter with Veritas, so she has already made up her mind about settling in the canyon. She is now just merely walking, and thinking about life's problems before the group will move to another place :)

The queen found herself back at the lake, not sure if the group wanted to move. What if the others didn't want to leave the mountain, that they wanted to stay in the uninhabitable canyon? She doubted it, but there was still the possibility of members not wanting to travel. Though the queen would find it sad, she would not blame the others. It was her and her lover's blindness towards danger that had caused this, not them.

As she was thinking, going over each little problem they still had to fix, she found herself climbing down the mountain to get a better look at the lake without water droplets soaking here. It was unnecessary, but she had nothing better to do. Perhaps, if there were fish in the lake, she could even go for breakfast.

She made her way down, careful not to slip and break all four legs, and it wasn't as hard as she once thought. Her paws, that were already used to the rough terrain, were placed precisely on the rocks, and after a few minutes she was all the way down. She was still far away from the lake though, as she had sought out the easiest way to get down.

As she neared the waters, a smell hit her in the face. It was so clear, that she could make out it was a male with no travelling buddies nor a pack. She smiled, another loner at last. She stopped in her tracks as she watched the dark male drink, almost wanting to greet him but she was sure the other already scented her.
He sensed a presence behind him, automatically making his head turn. A dark colored female stood behind him with a smile on her face. Her scent was a little misleading. The scent of a loner, yet with a hint of other wolves. Had he trespassed into a pack-to-be without noticing? Surely not. Issun was stupid at times but he wasn't that stupid.

"Hello," he greeted.
The stranger greeted her, a nice way to start a conversation and perhaps a friendship. She had hoped for a nice reaction, but she was never sure if she would get one given her looks. Her appearance screamed dangerous, and while she was that when she wasn't around familiars, she had changed over the past few weeks. She had met others that made her believe the world didn't only consist of terrible, low and selfish wolves as it was the case in her former pack. She smiled brighter, setting a few steps toward the stranger seeing no signs of him wanting to attack her. plus, now they didn't have to shout at each other.

Good morning. She chipped happily, though in a serious tone. What has brought you to this place? She asked to make a bit of conversation before mentioning their pack that needed members.
The stranger decided to carry on with the conversation. The regular Issun answer to the question would be:Water. Ain't it obvious, sweetie? But of course he wouldn't say that to someone he just met. Time to put on his "mature guy" attitude.

"I've been traveling for awhile and needed a drink. I've been on my own for awhile," he replied. "So, what's bought you round these parts huh?" he asked with a small smile.
The queen listened to the strange boy, perking her ears up and a smile on her features. The boy only needed a drink. Would he be carrying on after that, or was he seeking for a place to settle? If it was the latter, perhaps he could come with them to Phantom Hollow. If not, she had met the last new soul on the mountain as she was leaving very soon.

Traveling huh? Aren't you looking for a place to settle then, after so long? She asked, a bit of a concerned look on her face. She didn't like wolves being on their own to face the world. I was just saying my last goodbyes to this land before I leave.
He nodded to her question. "I was hoping to, yeah. It's not easy being alone." The life of a rouge has proven the fact. Without someone watching your back and visa versa, life for a wolf was ten times harder.

Issun's ears perked a little. "Oh? Why do you have to leave?"
The queen's smile brightened as she heard the boy wanted to settle somewhere. Though they were leaving soon, another companion wasn't going to hurt anyone. It was even the opposite. The more the merrier!

We, my lover, followers and I, are travelling away from the mountains to settle in Phantom Hollow. She informed, hinting a bit that they indeed had a spot open for anyone to join. If you so desire, you could come along with us.
fade next post?

His theory had been right, to his excitement. The female had been up to forming a pack and was taking recruitments. "I would love to," he replied, tail wagging with happiness. He had been hoping to find a pack and now was a great opportunity. There was also a plus because with a pack just forming, he could get very used to the new home they wished to stay and the wolves who lived with it.
Yup! Welcome to MH :) Minor powerplay to finish the thread, though pm me if you want to change anything.

Her tail wagged as the boy showed a desire to join them. This was the best way for her to end her journey in the mountains, she thought.

Well, I suggest you follow me then. She said with a warm smile, turning a bit to face the mountain side again, looking back over her shoulder to see if the boy would follow her. She saw the boy slowly making his way to her side, and she led them up the mountain, to the red canyon. There they would all meet to make their way to Phantom Hollow.
