Mitanni wandered and explored the Phantom Hollow, but she couldn't shake the uneasiness that lingered in the back of her mind. It stemmed partly from joining the pack--ultimately exchanging some of her freedom for responsibility--but it also had to do with the woods themselves. They were pretty in their own right, but there was just such an eeriness about them that the black and brown wolf caught herself eyeing each curved branch and shadow warily.

The fact she hadn't seen any of her pack mates didn't help anything, and thinking that being around them might ease some of her worry the lithe little wolf trekked back to the heart of the territory. She entered into the clearing where the log her leaders had gathered everyone around rested and paced over toward it nervously, glancing around and hoping one of the other Moonlit Hills wolves was about.
I know they have met and all, but I can't resist! Feel free to skip me when another member Mit hasn't met yet joins and play it off like Mal smiled and walked away, knowing that she should give her members time together :)

The queen found herself strolling along the borders a lot, keeping them fresh since their pack was new. Wolves who knew of this as a possible way to the other side of the lake or just a nice place to be alone would need to know they were there and find themselves a way around it. Or perhaps join them, who knew. But, now the borders were fresh again, the daughter of Lucifer found herself bored. Her stack of dead critters was already enough, no one was calling for her and she couldn't explore far. So, she got herself off her bum and trotted towards the big log where there meetings had been thus far.

Upon arriving, the queen saw one of her members looking around. Was she searching for something? Had no one even considered talking to her because she was one of the last to arrive at Phantom Hollow? The dark girl felt a spark of guilt make it's way into her system. She hadn't even spoken to her since their meeting in the mountains and now she was all alone, wandering around in a dark forest she was supposed to call home. The queen walked closer to her, tail raised slightly though her posture was friendly.

Pretty dark place huh? She asked, glancing over the trees surrounding them. Are you seeking company?

@Cogitemus XD Omg, how do we fix this? I'm dying XD
The man was out scouting the borders again. He spotted a black wolf, not know right away who she was. "Hello Mitanni." he spoke, seeing her uneasiness. "You seem uneasy." he said as he drew closer. He scanned over her body, not completely sure why she didn't feel comfortable. He wan't to earn his counselor trade, so this would help.

@Malice we shadow posted XD
@Malice I will drop out of the thread cause I can't figure out how she can respond XD
The mottled black and brown wolf breathed in deeply and released the breath in a quiet sigh, relaxing a little as she caught the scents of the other wolves lingering in the air. They were near even if she couldn't see them, and that was encouraging. Still, her amber eyes continued to search and only stopped once they alighted on a familiar dark shape coming her way.

Instinctively, Mitanni lowered her head and let her tail fall flush with the backs of her legs as Malice approached. She could detect just the slightest hint of authority in her stance, but it wasn't enough to concern her, just a gentle reminder. Behind her came another, the burly figure of Cogitemus, and Mitanni resisted the sudden urge to make her submission clearer. He didn't flaunt authority at least, and only addressed her with concern. At least they showed an interest in her.

"Yeah...yeah, I guess I am," Mitanni answered them both, realizing that the statement was true for each question asked. She smiled ruefully, feeling sheepish now that she was no longer alone. How silly she must look to them. "Just need to get used to this place is all," she assured, nodding her head and hoping it was true.

Great minds think alike.
