This thread is for someone who also wants a Mercenary  trade for their character. They can just train here together and once it's finished you have a trade thread wopwop! Tagging @Issun , perhaps?

As the first few days passed, the queen had felt her strength going down. She needed someone to train with, just like back in her former pack. She had done almost nothing else than training with Avalon back there, but the past few weeks she hadn't. Sure, she had had one fight the first day she was in Teekon Wilds, but hadn't done anything resembling training after. Perhaps one of their members was also looking for someone to train with.

The daughter of Lucifer got up, seeing almost nothing because of the fog in the morning. It was great for spies, but for her at this moment it didn't do much good. great. She scanned around her, her ears perking to maybe find someone with only her ears. Of course she could howl for everyone to come, but she didn't want to get the whole pack together at one place again so soon after their first two meetings. And what if they were still slumbering? She definitely didn't want to wake anyone up. Sleep was good for one's health, even someone who had no knowledge of caregiver trades knew that. If someone was not well rested, they would become vulnerable. They couldn't have that.

So she padded through the dark, foggy forest to find someone without having to wake them all up.
yay :D

The brute had awoken from his slumber early that morning. He wished to have a head start on strengthening the borders. After the encounter with Nemesis, he couldn't help but think she and her wolves would be looking for trouble in their home.

With senses alert, Issun traveled along their borders, marking everywhere he went. His dark pelt melted perfectly within the dark confines. From a distance, it would make any onlooker intimidated. A large, dark form laying against a darker scene.

Once he was content he had done well, Isdn turned tail, going deeper into his home. It was then that he could make out another figure, along with the familiar scent of his alpha. Instinctively, he walked towards her. "Hi Malice," he greeted, "Is there anything you may need?"
It surprised the queen to see that she hadn't been the only one to awaken so early today, and the surprise could be seen in her yellow orbs. She gave a warm smile to the boy, wondering what had awakened him. Had she not been quiet enough? Oh dear, she thought as she went over the past few minutes. Perhaps she had stepped too hard on a twig, perhaps the boy was not a sound sleeper. Whatever it was, she felt like it was her fault that he hadn't slept well.

Oh, I'm sorry, did I wake you Issun? She asked, her head cocking to the left, a concerned look on her face. To answer his question, she cocked her head back. There is indeed. My training has been lacking these past few weeks... She hinted before continuing. I could use someone to practice with. She didn't know if the boy would even want to get into offensive fighting. For all she knew, he could be a plant loving romeo. But, it was worth a shot.
He shook his head. "Nah, I was up for awhile," he assured. Issun was wide awake and ready for any challenge that may partake. And a "challenge" awaited him indeed. The woman had asked for a partner to train with and he gave a short nod. This could be fun.

Without wasting any time, the yearling rushed forward. His objective: pin her down.
It was nice to hear that her guilt had been for nothing. She wondered what he had done the time he was awake, though he gave her no time to ask. Just as she had said her words, he nodded, rushing for her after. She was taken by surprise, but this wasn't the first time she had to dodge an attack. She had failed to do so in the fight with the scruffy bitch she had met when she first entered Teekon Wilds, and would not let failure overtake her again. She stepped aside, just in time to dodge, though she was out of balance for a few seconds. This didn't stop her however, as she lowered her head to protect her neck and now rushed at the boy who had accepted her challenge. She went for his neck, her jaw set on grabbing, not tearing, and hoped to get him on the ground.

If the boy hadn't already protected his neck or dodged her attack and she would get him on the ground, she would try to pin him early in the fight. Though her lack of training would definitely play a role in her succes. Changes were low that she could pin him so early into the fight, though that didn't stop her from trying.
Instead of the feeling of fur, the swift feel of air hit against his body. Issun made sure not to loose his balance, keeping his feet firm on the ground.

Issun turned his head just in time to partially dodge. She had gotten a grip on his neck, but not a very firm one. With a growl, the yearling attempted pushing into her side, wanting her to loose her hold.
Her teeth now held the fur and a small part of his flesh, but she was careful not to actually hurt him. Her grip wasn't as firm as she had hoped, and when the boy pushed her, she lost it. Her mouth opened just in time to not tear his skin open, and she was pushed back a few steps.

Perhaps it was time to go defensive, her head lowering again to protect her vulnerable parts, hackles rising in the process. It wasn't intentionally, it was just instinct, and she hoped Issun could understand that she was not actually mad at him. This was training, and it had to be realistic. She made herself look bigger as she eyed the boy, ready for whatever he might be planning to do next.
He was able to push Malice off of him. Issun was quick to whip around, lowering his head to protect his neck.

Instead of attacking, the female went on the defensive route. Her vulnerable spots were covered, putting him at a somewhat disadvantage. He charged forward, appearing as if he was aiming for the front. Instead, he was hoping she would dodge, so he could grab at her scruff right after.
The boy came at her at full speed, appearing to attack her from the front. Hah! she thought as she quickly stepped aside, dodging his dash though unaware this was just his plan. She felt his teeth grab her scruff, and a low growl of anger escaped her throat. It was not aimed at him, more towards herself. It reminded her of how Avalon always beat her with the same tricks this guy was now throwing at her and she couldn't believe she had fallen for it again. She had a plan though, one that could either mean victory or defeat. She would pretend she was losing her balance, putting weight to the side Issun was now, and would act as if she was falling right on top of him.

In reality though, she was tricking him right back. She would not fall on top of him but regain her balance once more, unless he wouldn't let go. If he didn't let go, they would fall together as she would be unable to hold both their weight, and it would be the first one to get up that could easily pin the other then.
His crafty plan had worked perfectly. He had gotten a firm grip onto her scruff. At first Issun thought he wouldn't let go.

As she leaned against him, the grip on her scruff started to loosen. Loosing his balance, he fell onto the ground.
This is my second time doing this XD I'm just making things up as I go, lol.

Mwuhaha, her plan had worked, she knew, as she felt the grip on her scruff disappear. She hear a low thud on the ground, now knowing that the boy had fallen over. She turned to face him, though still a bit out of balance as it had taken great balance skills to pull her trick off. She stepped over him, two legs placed on his left side, two on his right, her face right in front of him.

She was now aiming to pin him, though there still were changes of him escaping if he had the power to throw her off somehow. If not, the queen would go for his neck and hold him down for as long as he kept trying to escape.
There wasn't many options when Malice towered over him. Issun reeled his hind legs towards his underside, kicking up at her stomach in attempt to push her off once more.
Should we roll a dice or something to see who will overpower the other, or would you mind Malice winning since this is merely practice + she is like roughly 2 years older?

The kicks, though delaying pinning him down, didn't do much but putting her out of balance. She shifted her weight, almost tumbling to the left but quickly redeemed herself. She was proud of the young'un to say the least. He had been a challenge, despite their age differences, but the fight wasn't over just yet. Perhaps the boy would grow tired, or bored, and would stop kicking her or find another way to throw her off.

If he would stop kicking, she would regain her balance and go for his neck once more, another attempt at pinning him.
I don't mind Malice winning :)

His kicking could not do much for help and it could only last for so long. He had gotten tired soon enough and his defensive moves ceased. That was when he could feel her grip his neck once more, subduing him and winning a victory over the yearling.
Okidoki, 2 more post from each or less and this can be archived?

The boy stopped struggling, giving her the opportunity to grab his neck for a brief moment before letting go when feeling he wasn't fighting anymore. It took a moment for her to realize that her skills as a fighter hadn't become less, even feeling she was getting better. She was proud of the boy, getting off of him while saying. You definetly know how to fight. She panted.

I didn't hurt you, did I? Despite her having been careful with her attacks, there was a change that she had hurt him somehow. That was the thing she wanted to avoid.
He got to his feet as soon as she released him. He had to say, his fighting skills had gotten a little better. More practice and maybe he could be the one to win, but that was for another time.

"Nope," he replied with a small smile, "Just tired." The friendly spar definitely got the blood pumping.
Fade with your post? :)
The daughter of Lucifer could agree with the boy, panting herself. She was glad to hear she hadn't hurt him, and sighed in relief. Hurting a member was the last thing she wanted to do.

Indeed, me too. Their fight had gotten her still soar throat craving water, and she wanted to go to the small water place they had in their territory. Perhaps the young'un even wanted to tag along. I think I'm going for a quick drink, you are free to come along though. She said, now in a raspier voice than before, trying not to talk too loud as it would damage her throat even more. She turned, her muzzle now pointing in the direction of the river.
yep!

He nodded when she offered him to come with her. Issun walked forward, expecting Malice to follow. A drink of water sounded great after a spar.
