@Seth and anyone considering making a pack with Depp!

Depp had been roaming Sequoia Coast, in search of potential pack members and potential territory for his upcoming pack. He was growing bored with all his wandering and coming up empty handed, but so far Horizon Ridge seemed a great start for his ground, but one fact remained and that was there was already three packs in Sequoia, of course the had no way of knowing this, and his thoughts on Horizon Ridge still stood. The wolf once considered joining a pack, but decided not to because of what his father would have said- if her were around that is. He'd probably scold the boy about losing his independence and becoming a servant for another man. Hah, no servant was he!

Growing impatient with the lack of others, he howled out for any wolves near by. Who know this would be so hard? Him, that's who. Depp had already made two packs in the past, them both being extremely small and only made up of his closest friends. Both packs failed, but that was only because the wolf was young, now he was older, wiser- well wiser could be an overstatement. All in all, he had improved and had the ability to make a pack if he had tried hard enough.
Tossing Sen in, since she would have followed him to the ridge. c: And because of Seth, haha

To serve beneath the rule of another had never appealed to her. She'd always been the arrogant sort, and her upbringing hadn't lessened such behavior at all. Sen was a Gorgon woman, after all, and that meant there were certain things she was entitled to in life. One of those things, of course, was complete and total independence. There was no one out there qualified to purloin her freedom, not was a single soul worthy of residing above her place in the world present—save for the females of her maternal family. The women who had come before her, carrying the Gorgon name, were esteemed and their views valued. As a child, she had believed they would be the only ones she wold ever serve under if she'd decide to seek out a pack, but such had never happened. Her life had instead taken another course, all her decision leading her to an encounter with Depp; a male who has somehow, someway, gained her approval.

Considering she was willing to view him as a leader, it came as no surprise that she'd followed him. All the way to Horizon Ridge, a place she'd never before visited. It was a marvelous sight, really, one that she rather enjoyed. It was for that reason that she'd taken to further exploring it, making note of specific areas she found most appealing before moving onto the next. That is, until a howl was carried to her by the wind. It was the male, she knew, his voice already familiar to her ears. He was requesting the presence of others within the area, and so she decided to join him. It was, most likely, strangers whose presence he sought, but what damage would it do if she showed up, too? Besides, if he was looking to recruit, then she wanted to be there to see what type of wolves he'd be bringing in. So, without further ado, she headed off in his direction, saying nothing as she approached him.
Depp noticed his accomplice join his side on his journey to Horizon Ridge, and truthfully being disappointed by its barely habitable lands and lack of other wolves to speak about his sanctuary, so far him and Sen haven't been having the best luck, but that didn't stop him. He was still full of energy and some form of hope that's followed him his whole life. Although the rough ground, he must admit Horizon Ridge's view was quite astounding, and although he found the aesthetic pleasing, it was not good enough for his future aspiration. "No luck," the wolf mumbled beneath his breath.

He thought of leaving for a moment, but decided he'd rather speak to Sen first, in attempts to getting to know her better. They were bound to grow some form of relationship, good or bad- hopefully good. The pirate lowered his haunches and sat down on the ground, admiring his view, both from the ridge and the wolf beside him.

Wow that's short, oh well!
In spite of the view, and the places she'd made note of whilst exploring the ridge, the overall appearance of the territory wasn't the greatest. If not for the mass of rubble that seemed to cover it and the shriveled up tide pools, then perhaps it would have been the perfect place for them to settle down at. As it presently stood, however, she'd much rather abandon the male than live where they were currently stationed. A part of her mind insisted such would be taking things way to far, that doing so would be the definition of 'drastic actions', but that was the very same part of her mind she had then decided to ignore. If she was going to settle down somewhere again, the land itself would have to be as visibly appealing as at least a quarter of the sights she'd seen during her travels. Surely such a place existed, and she was determined to find it.

When Depp had mumbled something beneath his breath, the serpent's ears had pressed forward. "What?" she questioned. "Not as appealing as you'd thought it'd be?" Sen's gaze remained on him, expression remaining neutral even though a smirk fought to break through. "I hope you have another place in mind, because I'm not staying here." The woman truly enjoyed the sight that was available to them, but that was about it. She wouldn't mind visiting the place again later down the road, but live there? Hell no.
Depp huffed at her comments, but had the smallest peirce of fright when she mentioned leaving, of course he ignored it acting as though it was nothing, leaving no trace in his body language of his emotion, just holding onto his usual cocky and sarcastic demeanor. "Don't worry, I may be mad but not dumb." He said, shooting her glance. He still held his optimistic point of view on the situation, as he always had in everyone, unless he didn't like it, then of course, he would hope for the most pessimistic outcome. The two traveled rather far for nothing, but that wasn't what bothered him, it was more of dragging Sen along. Usually he would just laugh at someone for being foolish enough to follow him, as his direction was usually aimless, but not. He was quite the contradiction.

"Why is it that you show such little emotion? It's like finding a gem in bear crap, unexpected and strange." It was true that she at least had to hold back her expression in some form, no one could just feel neutral constantly. Knowing she was reserved, it was unlikely for her to say the truth, or not manipulate the situation to turn the tables or something of the such. His mind pondered of she had ever been the type to be overemotional, and just changed when she could, or maybe she was just born like this, which he believed to be unlikely. It wasn't that he discouraged her lack of expression, it just made her all the more difficult to read, and that bothered the dark man greatly, for a split second that is. He moved on from the thought, having confidence he'd crack her code, but was just more curious in her reasonings behind it in the first place.
The sound of his huff had not gone unnoticed, the noise being enough to have the corners of her lips twitching. She'd not the time to dismiss the expression, and so a faint smirk was permitted upon her maw. It had reminded her of old times, back when her only intentions in life were to get under the skins of as many living beings as possible. That felt like ages ago, and yet the sound of his potential frustrations was still enough to ignite a spark of something other than pure neutrality within her. Perhaps it was only because it had been Depp who'd huffed, an odd man that seemed to hardly ever let anything bother him. Subconsciously, to her, it was like earning a medal. "That's good to hear," she'd continued, drawling out her sentence ever so slightly; she was teasing him. "I was afraid I'd made a mistake in deciding to follow you." There was a mischievous lilt to her tone, though it was so delicate one might easily miss it.

Sen had expected some sort of humorous crack, but was instead given a question—followed, of course, by a jocose statement. The latter was ignored, mainly due to her uncertainty in how to properly respond to the words. Surely she could have carried on with him a bit, joked around some, but he'd yet to acquire the skeleton key to her very being. So, instead, she focused solely on his query, responding to it first with a slight shrug of her shoulders. "What is the point in showing any emotion? Because others expect it?" It should have been expected, in all honesty, that she'd answer by tossing over an inquiry of her own. "There are some I'm more open with, I guess, but you've yet to earn that." Her serpentine gaze was quick to lock onto Depp's, her expression nearly resembling a challenge. In a sense, she was challenging him, silently encouraging the man to try a bit harder in gaining her undying favour.
Her first comments made him uncomfortable and he shifted, but held an expression which didn't give away his feelings towards her words, maybe his face hid it well, but the brute was sure she could see right through his care-free demeanor, maybe not and he was just over thinking, oh well, it didn't bother him too much. The idea of Sen leaving did bother him greatly though, not only for the lack of members, or lack of support, but he truly enjoyed this seemingly emotionless, manipulative, prepossessing wolf. He did sense her small mischievous tone, but that didn't change much, teasing or not he didn't like the idea, and when the subject changed he was relieved.

Sen's answers were strange, but he was proposed a challengenge, gaining him his award-worthy smile once again, she mentioned how he had yet to earn her more emotional side, and he would do his best to gain it, This was now a prize he would str, no matter how long it would take. This also supported the idea that she wouldn't be leaving him anytime soon, but he wouldn't speak for her. "Seems I'll have to change that." He commented, looking down on Sen, hoping he had read her correctly and was doing as she had expected/

Sorry for the short post!
Sorry for the wait. Wanna wrap up with your post? o:

If the woman had been paying closer attention, there was a chance she would have caught onto his unease. Lucky for him, however, she hadn't been investing too much of her attention into him at the time. All she knew was that he'd not made any comments in response to her teasing, which was, by far, quite peculiar. They'd known one another for a short span of time, yes, but it had already become obvious that he wasn't one to keep silent. He'd almost always have something to retort, but this time around, no words came to meet her ears. Though mildly curious of the cause behind that, she did not verbally question it. Instead, she just moved on from the exchange, carrying on over to the newer topic she'd offered moments prior.

Just as she'd been wanting, he'd been hooked by her challenge. "Seems you will," she'd stated, already interested to see how the situation might play out. "Good luck." You're gonna need it.
