someone she hasn't met, maybe?

erzsébet had bathed the tender mangled flesh of her ear and cheek in the brine with more care than she had tended the torn places between her thighs. however, she was forced to accept the grim reality that her ear would be notched, and she would bear a small scar upon her face, a direct blow to her vanity. in the months to come, it would fade into almost-obscurity, only visible as a silvery line across her high cheekbone, but for now it raised itself up out of the pale, velveteen fur of her face, twisted and an ugly maroon.

she had not seen fehér in some time, but comforted herself with the belief that the pale woman was only marauding on the coast as she often did. the handmaiden would return. had she the slightest knowledge of the handover that would transpire between ferahgo and the man from the coastal pack, erzsébet would have found herself bereft of sense.

as it was, she was blissfully -- relatively -- unaware of what would take place.

the countess let out a hiss at the sting of the saltwater as she lowered her haunches again into a shallow tidepool along the edge of the ship. her eyes cut 'round then, hoping her discomfort had not been seen and if it had, daring that wolf to let his eyes linger upon her. erzsébet wondered coldly if the captain had bragged of his exploits to anyone, then decided it did not matter. when she had finished her soak, the hungarian gingerly moved along the shoreline, searching for a crab or a fish to devour.
Hope you don't mind me coming in :D

Sadie was sitting on the shoreline, her eyes closed but mind open. The salty air was blowing against her, not in a rough way, but not too gentle either. The wench  sighed and stared off towards the crashing waves and lapping tides. "What be ye problem Calypso?" She asked quietly and curiously, her head tilting itself in the slightest manner. The sea goddess was sending Sadie mixed images, feelings, and signs. Something was going to happen?

By all means Sadie would follow the signs, but she was a bit suspicious about what it meant. Oh well, she could dwell on it a bit later. Her attention was brought to another wolf who was walking along the shore, white fur like the monstrous one had before. Sadie wondered who it was, she hadn't seen her before nor greeted. Well, she was a wench just like Sadie, what could be the downside of meeting her? Of coarse, Sadie wouldn't call her that.

"Ahoy! May I ask who ye be?" She called out, quite curious. Sadie looked the woman over quickly, seeing that her thigh was torn, along with her ear and cheek. "Yeesh, ye got an ass-whooping!" She thought quietly, wondering who did that to the white woman.
she had made her peace with the torn flesh, the agony resonating angrily from her loins, but she had not expected to see another creature near unto her so soon after ferahgo's assault. having found nothing in her quest for sustenance, erzsébet turned with malice writ upon her face to glare darkly at the woman who followed. "what business is it of yours?" came her black snap.

she did not wish to be disturbed, not with ire still roiling within her, not with her face lacerated by cruel teeth. and so her pale hackles rose; she took a step toward the bonechewer wench with clear intention of attack if her coldness was not heeded.
Sadie wasn't expecting the cold shoulder from the white one, she was almost offended. The white one had her hackles raised and she stepped forward. Oh how Saide wanted to chew her eyes out! He wench had guts, but she also had some brains rolling around in her skull. Instead of doing what she wanted, Sadie just gave a hoarse laugh and shrugged it off towards her. "I just came to see new faces lass, don't get ye tail in a twist" she offered humorously, cackling to herself a bit more but abiding to the white one and stepping back a few paces.

"It looks like someone got nasty with ye, ye need help treatin' her?" She asked, her head tilted and hackles low. If the wolves wanted her gone, by all means Sadie would leave. However, her words never specified anything, the wench could take that to the game she was going to play with this one.
the woman backed, but not in fear; the countess silently admired this foolish show of confidence, as her own had been greatly shaken. yet the brine-soaked tones of the other wolfess were strangely comforting, and the pale creature found the tension ebbing aside. "and now you have seen it," erzsébet rejoined dryly.

pain flared at the first step she took; the countess hissed in a breath through clenched teeth as the other offered her aid. the instinct of the hungarian was to snap, to deny the seawench the luxury of seeing her agony, but in the next moment, erzsébet's resistance died, and she settled upon the sand. "yes."

her eyes found the sea, and she drifted.
The white one was feisty, she almost sneered at the cackling wench. However, Sadie was surprised when the white lady wanted help to treat her wound. "Ye washed it with salt I see" she started off, looking around for any herbs at the moment.

She was relieved when she saw what she needed: a few spider webs. They held droplets of water into them, the web was spun beautifully and elegantly. Sadie felt no shame ripping it off and bringing it back to the white one. She didn't move forward, heavens know what would happen if she did.

Fighting off the sticky silk, her jaw parted. "Ye okay if I put this on ye lass?" She asked, not wanting to get bitten at the moment.
erzsébet did not answer at the other's observation; merely nodded shortly. it was to the wolfess' credit that she did not inquire as to who had injured the countess; the pale creature would not have had an answer. the corsair moved off down the shore and erzsébet looked again to the ocean.

when the woman returned, the gamma nodded again. silently she allowed the medical tending to occur. she knew not what the pirate did, and nor did she truly care -- erzsébet was adrift once more.
Getting the approval from a nod of the white one's head, Sadie went to work by spitting out the spider webs and rubbing her muzzle on the injured area lightly to apply the bandage. It would break easily, but it was best to use for sealing up wounds and ending the bleeding. Sadie would search for marigolds, but there was a large chance that none grew upon the island they lived on.

Seeing that the torn thigh looked a bit better, Sadie backed away and quickly turned inland. It would be a rare sight for any kind of healing herb to be upon the island, but where was the wrong in looking? "The webs will seal it up and stop bleeding-" She started off, turning back to the white one. "but it won't stop infection. Wait here lass, I need to find ye a flower to prevent it" She stated swiftly, before trotting towards the inland of the ship and searching for the golden flower.
erzsébet drew in her breath as the other woman touched her, fighting back the sting of tears that accompanied the lightest brush across her lacerated flesh. but she did not speak. away the woman went again, speaking about a flower, and it was then that the countess allowed herself a single sob, at all of it.

when the seawench presumably returned with the bloom of which she had spoken, erzsébet turned and looked for the first time on the woman who had sought to mend her wounds without question. "what is your name? how did you  learn this healing?" she asked quietly in her heavy accent.
The marigold was surprisingly blooming in a small patch, Sadie smiled as she grabbed two of the flowering plants and bringing them back to the countess. Quietly she pulled the yellow petals from the rod and applied them into the wound gently, though the spider webs were becoming tangled. They would hold though and help fight off infection, Sadie didn't want the white one to die so soon, though she didn't know her name.

Silently she backed away, happy with her work. Fluffy ears perked forward when the white wolfess spoke with a heavily accented tongue, asking for the earthy wench's name and how she learned the knowledge she had now. The wench looked towards her, tail wagging slightly. "Sadie be my name lass" she started off, parting her jaws once more to answer the question. "I learned about plants when I got hurt by me other crew. The bastards threw me around, so I learned to heal meself" she replied, her eyes casting over the sea.

The roaring waves created a white noise that blocked out memories of her old home. They were even more unruly then the crew she was in at the moment. Truly, she was thankful she was accepted into the Bonechewers. The home was better than her past.
sadie. erzsébet nodded. would that she had known the art of botany! it might have been helpful following ferahgo's attack -- perhaps she could have been spared days of agony had she been aware of some aiding plant. as it was, the countess was truly grateful for the help of her packmate in this time. "i appreciate this."

she was silent then, pondering what horrid things had been done to sadie, for the other woman was also vague, brief in her explanation. perhaps she had suffered the same abuse, though erzsébet prided herself on a thick veneer of indifference. it had served her well in the past and would continue to do so -- she need only mend and press on with her life.

blood. the taste of it was thick upon her tongue; she desired it hungrily.
The white countess had nodded her head, then spoke of appreciation towards the sea wench. The said wolf smiled crookedly, before settling down next to the gamma, though not too close as she would respect personal space. She wondered about the origins of the ghost, where did she come from?

Obviously away from Teekon, she sounded too foreign. "Where did ye come from lass, and what be ye name?" She asked curiously, before her eyes turned towards the sea to admire the waves. "Ye sound like a foreigner to me" she stated.
a twisted smile appeared upon erzsébet's muzzle as sadie inquired as to her beginnings. "i am very foreign," she laughed, her heart somewhat lighter. "i come from a place in the mountains -- i had never been upon the sands until i came here." she was suddenly quite thankful for sadie in this moments, though her mouth would remain firmly closed upon the actuality of how she had come to be in the pained predicament.

"from where did you come, sadie?" erzsébet queried in her heavy tones, shifting with a small wince.
The white one had replied of her origin, a place far from here with mountains. Sadie looked out towards the roaring sea, wishing to see such mountains. For all her life, she had only seen sand and sea. She had no problem with it in all honesty, but she wanted to explore more and see more land. Her ship at the moment was nice though, even with a somewhat rough captain.

Her own origin was questioned, Sadie cackled a bit. "Me home was close to her. I escaped though, the crew be full o' bastards" she started off, looking towards the white wolfess. "I got lucky to run off, the captain somewhat helped me" she said. "He takes a fancy to ye, don't he?" she asked, quite curiously. "A bastard though" She thought bitterly.
the brassy laugh of the she-wolf caught erzsébet off guard; she listened with renewed interest in the succinct history sadie provided, giving a nod that froze at the other's vague mention of ferahgo. the countess drew into herself, gaze floating again out over the seawaves -- she gave a lowering of her muzzle. "i deliberately provoked him several times, sadie. perhaps i wished it."

but she had not, nor had she expected -- to be taken roughly, yes, but not the sheer experience of disrespect and pain to which ferahgo had treated her. "i shall heal, thanks to you."
After Sadie replied, the pretty woman next to her replied to Sea Salt's question. She actually meant to provoke the captain?! Was this lass crazy or just with a head full of sand?! Provoking the captain was like having a death wish to be shark bait. Even Sadie didn't have the audacity to do such a thing. Her honey eyes turned towards the unnamed white one, curious.

"What made ye do it?" She asked, wondering what went on with this one. What was she planning on doing with the captain? Did she have him wrapped around her dainty little paw? Sadie laughed silently at the thought, the captain bowing to a woman. Men never liked woman except for breeding rights and lust, nothing else. It almost disgusted Sadie, her being a victim to men like that.

The countess was thankful for the salt wench's healing, Sadie smiled, less crookedly. "It was me pleasure lass. I could teach ye a few things if ye get in a scruple again with Ferahgo" she said, wondering what would happen if it was more than just a torn ligament. What if the captain took this one's life as he did with that black one whom he stole her head?
fade with your next post? we should have an updated one :3

a small, tight smile climbed onto erzsébet's lips -- she shook her head. "i wanted to goad him for his cruelty, his coolness." and she had paid a great price, as evidenced by the sting between her thighs. but he had not broken her; no. the captain had only hardened her resolve against him.

sadie proffered an interesting suggestion; the countess' white ears cupped toward her companion. "i would like to learn these things," she accepted in her thickened accent, looking more warmly upon the sea wench.
I'll archive, apologies for the wait!

Her reason was valid to Sadie. She was giving the captain a taste of his own medicine, something she wanted to do for a looong time. It pleased her to know that someone had down the dirty work for her. What mainly caught the countess' attention was Sea Salt's willingness to teach her methods of healing.

With her grin thigh, she nodded her head. "Find me when ye want to learn." With that, she dipped her head towards her before scampering off.
