@Blue Willow - set few days before Osprey's spring madness begins.

It always started with a spark, which then grew to a tiny flame and as the days would go by, it would turn into a raging fire, taking over Osprey's body and mind. The elder had been through this many times before to recognize the signs and, when early one morning she had realized, what was going on, it brought her both joy and reasons to worry. This year was different from the previous ones, where she had needed to turn a deaf ear to the nature's call in favor of those, who stood above her in terms of ranks, or last year, when she had given in out of pure spite and ran off. Half of the things that had happened during that week she did not remember and, while the knowledge of having a mate was comforting, there were plenty of "what if"s, the biggest of them being - failing Dante in some sort of way.

Therefore she needed someone to talk to - just to share her thoughts and doubts, not exactly expecting the other to help her or make the whole process that was waiting ahead easier. Osprey had caught Blue willow's scent earlier and hoping to catch her alone, the she-wolf quickened her step, following the trail.
Blue Willow had not seen her friend since the fateful meeting and she missed her. Osprey had been strangely distant and aloof since she had come back and it made Blue's heart hurt. However, Blue was not much better anymore. Preferring her own company rather than those she cared for. She tilted her head and walked around looking for something to occupy her time while her pups were playing with their other sitters.

She hoped to rebuild her stores for spring, she wanted herbs and the like. She had used much more of her stores than she had planned in the last few seasons. Including for those that weren't even part of her pack.
No sooner than five minutes later Osprey's friend's familiar form came into sight - the gray she-wolf began to trot faster (as much as it was possible with a leg that was partly healed, but obviously not back to the full capacity). Instead of making her presence known right away, she used the advantage that Blue had not noticed her yet and with a friendly woof, she "attacked" the alphess's scruff, wanting to get hold of it in a playful manner - once again taking a liberty to step over boundaries that no other wolf in the pack would probably be allowed to.

ooc: assuming some things and slight powerplay - it not ok, I can edit the post. :)
[ooc]I love osprey lol. I apologize for my lateness in replying. I have been working a lot lately.[/b]

Blue was at first surprised, but she didn't have the time to react in any manner as her friends smell came into her nostrils. She giggled and turned nudging her friend where she could reach, trying to disengage her from her own scruff. Though she was mindful of her friends partially healed leg. A playful growl rumbled deep in her throat and she nudged harder, and laughed louder.
ooc: take all of the time you need.

Blue willow was quick to react and as much as Osprey would have loved to hold on to the piece of fur she was holding onto, she backed away and offered her friend a toothy grin. "You know that Lasher, Dante and Aria for that matter should take more measures on training people for sudden attacks. Technically..." she tilted her head to the side, "... you are dead now and I am most likely badly wounded. In other words... it's mortally amazing to see you!"

They would spend the rest of the afternoon enjoying each other's company and talking about girl stuff.
