With her new-found power as the Beta, Tavi wanted to test her limits. From what was conveyed to her through Reek, Tavi now had the power to boss others around and get whatever she wanted - within reason - and so she woke that morning with the express interest of finding a lackey. Her first thought was, of course, Esaro. He had been hanging out with Spring ever since his return from across the river, so he was likely quite demoralized because of his injuries and the chastisement by both Reek and herself. He was the perfect candidate for her intentions today. Though it was perplexing that she was actively seeking out the useless little boy, Tavi figured it would be worth the pain of a conversation. She loped between the trees in to the northern edge of the territory, tracking the boy's scent, and came to a halt when his figure came in to view.
Esaro decided to avoiding hunting until he could use all his legs. To avoid wasting time doing nothing he took the time to look for any unusual plants. Which was one he came across now. A white flower with yellow in the middle that bloomed in the spring. It was pretty the way it was with it's five pedals giving it a star shaped look. He looked at it curiously. He wanted to know more about it but nothing would be able to say anything. Maybe Spring knew that this plant was and what it could be used for. There was also a chance that it was just a flower that didn't really do anything.

He stared at the (Daffodil) for a while as if the answer would just appear into his mind. But there was nothing and it was little frustrating. Maybe he should pick it up.. but how? He didn't want to damage it or put it in his mouth. He sat there watching the plan, unaware that Tavi had already spotted him. The wound on his right shoulder itched a bit, he avoided touching it for now. By randomness he turn his head and saw her. He didn't know how to react to someone he knows didn't really like him and ended up staring without saying anything. He hasn't learn of Tavi promotion yet so he would left with really nothing to say.
She came up behind him swiftly, snapping at his rear end as if she was goading a fawn away from its mother. Esaro! she jovially half-shouted, hoping her sudden appearance and voracity would spurr some movement out of him. He had only been sitting a second ago, relaxing, and had it been anyone else Tavi would've left them to their own business. This kid didn't deserve to sit still for any reason - it mattered little to her that Esaro was injured and trying to recover. She wanted a reaction.

Don't just sit there kid. Get up, up! She gave him another few snaps, not really trying to hurt him, but rather to prod him along and keep his heart racing, which Tavi presumed would happen upon her initial eruption on to the scene. What're you doing just sitting around, don't you want to be helpful? You have a lot of shit to make up for. Her tone was light, but there was a menacing quality to it as well -- not that she'd wanted to sound antagonistic to that degree, but Tavi couldn't hide her dislike for the boy.
Tavi moved towards him quickly, giving him no time to figure out what she was going to do. At the very least he saw teeth going at his hind end. Swiftly he pushed forward to avoid her, unknowing that she wasn't exactly trying to hurt him. His heart rate was rising rapidly. What was she doing? He didn't understand! "W-what's wrong?" He asked in hopes that she'll enlighten him for the reason she was forcing him up.

More snaps followed, for each snap he'd move forward faster than the one before. He believed that he was just barely able to dodge her. He was on all four legs now but having to move quick he irritated his injured paw, making him have to keep it raised. His heart continued to pound, causing him to start breathing quickly. What exactly was he suppose to be doing? He didn't know there was something important. Did he miss something again.

His mind was slowly starting to panic. He knows he owes the back for what he has done, he should be trying to make things better but, "But-but there's nothing I can do right now." He said nearly desperately. If there was anything he could do he would have tried doing it by now. He stepped forward while he his head was turned towards her. His tail was low, his head was low. It was almost like he was crouched down just trying to walk away side ways. He spoke quickly "W-what do you want me to do?" He hoped there was a possibility that this would end soon. He really didn't like the pressure she was putting onto him.
The girl snorted upon witnessing his reaction, and gave a more direct (albeit small) bite to the base of his tail when Esaro claimed to have nothing to do. There was always something to do, even when bedridden. That's crap. You're up, you're breathing, you can still do shit for us. Come on. As she spoke she bumped and prodded at him, hustling the boy away from his spot of calm and reflection. A part of Tavi felt thrilled by the submission he displayed, and her ego was reignited. You can be doing a patrol, or tracking game - watching for the return of the herds in the plains, or something. Filling caches with plants for later, chasing shit -- well, her gaze traveled to his injured limb which, for now, he held close to his body as he hobbled away from her, Less chasing. But still, sitting around like a lump is the worst thing you can do. Of course, she was no healer. Tavi had no idea if her antics were putting stress on his wounds, and she likely didn't care, what with her lack of interest in his well-being.
She snapped at him, forcing him to move which was putting distance between him and the flower he was curious of. In a way he was actually doing something before she came but he didn't consider it to be useful. She insisted that he starts going somewhere but he had no idea where to go. It's like Tavi just wanted him to do something useful, it seemed didn't matter what it was. But to go out there again.. What if there was an agreement he didn't know about again. No he didn't want to go out there but Tavi wasn't going to leave him alone until he does something.

Esaro was falling into a state of panic. It became increasing difficult to think. "T-that flower." He pointed with nose. "I was going to take it to Spring, or maybe Shreya." He said quickly. He didn't know what he was doing anymore. Having to deal with Tavi was forcing him to battle for control of his mind. Out of fear, his body was trying to take over for him. So far he was still resisting. "I-I wasn't going to stay there all day, honest!"
Well, that was a start. Tavi stopped snapping at him as he spoke, but she didn't hesitate to bully him a bit longer by throwing her weight around - literally. She nudged at him, tripped him up a little with a 'misplaced' step or two, and refused to back down. What? Giving girls flowers - and old ladies, but Tavi wasn't going to think about Esaro's strange tastes; he was young and stupid, and maybe Shreya was a really old cougar? Ew, - is not worth your time. You need to hurry up and get a trade, or you're out of here. You know that right?

Tavi's voice wasn't exactly sympathetic as she mentioned this. If anything, she sounded more enthusiastic. You've screwed up our relationship with a rival pack, gotten yourself injured, used up a considerable amount of the pack's resources, and you've contributed nothing in return. He knew this, surely he knew this. She couldn't help but rub it in a little more though. Forgetting that an omega was also a thoroughly neccessary aspect to a thriving pack, Tavi saw Esaro as a useless entity - a vestigial limb which needed to be removed. You're running out of time. So get your ass in gear and work.
He was getting pushed here and there, he nearly fell over several times but barely managed to recover his balance each time. Did Tavi think herbs weren't worth anything? Esaro has been spending much more time on learning about herbs more than anything else. Was trying to learn that the wrong choice? The talk of being kicked out really put on the edge. His heart rate was very high. His mind panicked even more. He was unable to think and barely able to recognize where he was. "I-know, I-know. but I didn't do anything wrong here!"

He wasn't able to process what Tavi was saying anymore. He understood bits here and there but it wasn't helping him. "I'm helping, I promise! Just don't attack me." He didn't know what he was saying anymore. He didn't want to be kicked out but he also didn't want to get attacked again. He was mixing up the two.

Esaro stance was getting more defensive than submissive. His eyes weren't locking onto Tavi, they were rapidly looking between many different points around, as if he couldn't see her anymore. At this point Esaro nearly lost all control. He was watching carefully for an attack. In fact he was prepared to counterattack.
This must have been what it felt like to have a little brother, or something. Maybe she should've been more lenient with that in mind, as Tavi's siblings weren't always easy on her; but she just took that brief feeling of guilt and suppressed it. She was a Beta now, she could do whatever she wanted to him. And when he protested against her attacks, she just gave another derisive snort. Attacking you? Jeeze, you can't handle anything, there had been no blood drawn. Maybe a little bruising, if he was as delicate as a peach (which Tavi believed to be true, now). But she hadn't done any physical harm to him. You've gotta toughen up. Whatever life you had before this was way too soft. Get better, or get out. This harsh decree was coupled with one last bump, and then she pulled away from him, allowing some distance to form between his skittering self and her bludgeoning figure.

How had he tricked Ukko to begin with? This guy couldn't possibly be good at fighting. He could hunt, but that wasn't special. Tavi was unable to hold her thoughts in, as she was filled to the brim with bravado and entitlement. Damn Esaro, there's really nothing remarkable about you. The girl made a soft sound, like a 'tsk', and scrunched her nose, deeming this conversation over just like that. Pestering him wasn't worth the effort anymore. Besides, Esaro knew what she was demanding, and now she'd just leave him to fix his shortcomings. Maybe with a little luck, he'd pull something out of his ass. Tavi wasn't expecting much - in fact, she was anticipating the joy of chasing him out in a few days - but this time she stayed silent, striding towards a gap in the trees and vanishing in to the golden midday light.
Not just yet! :P

Tavi words weren't reaching him. There was nothing but his own thoughts just lingering around in his mind. There was a wolf before him. Who was it? It felt like an enemy but also a friend. It was confusing. The wolf turned to leave. Where was she going? A sudden random thought took over his mind. Was she going to attack his friends? That's what it looks like she was going to do if she kept going that way. No, no, He can't let that happen. He snarled ferociously out of instinct  "I won't let you!" Then he  charged at her on all fours.

The distance closed fast. When he should have leapt at her to attack, he only did half the movement before  he came to a sliding halt just next to her. It was the pain in his paw that got his senses back. He was confused "W-what's going on?" He figured he shouldn't stay here. He needed to go to some place safe. He turned around and just limped away. This wasn't the first time this happend but this was definitely not a dream. This was a clear sign that even Esaro had instincts but his own personality that developed while his instincts were dormant really stood in the way.
Uhhhh... up to you to determine if she grabs him or not, but i imagine he wont be evading it. Also you can decide if she accidentally cuts him or whatevs.

She had been prepared to leave, figuring that there was something worth doing elsewhere - since he wasn't, or something, but that's way too literal Tavi stop thinking like that - and as she was passing through the trees, she heard him shout. This prompted the girl to stop and swivel around partly, a quizzical look on her brow. Esaro was running after her, a snarl pulling at his lips, and she did what came naturally: bared her own fangs and defended herself. Whatever had possessed the kid to attack her didn't matter. Tavi wasn't going to take this from him, not after all the ego-stroking their one-sided conversation had evoked in her.

He had the audacity to launch himself at her, and she snarled in return, side-stepping to try and avoid a direct collision. Esaro's body came down short of her position though, and Tavi dove at him to retaliate, not realizing he had briefly lost himself in a fit of madness (or whatever it was). He was muttering something as she descended upon him, reaching for his scruff, but he was already limping away from her. Hey -- hey -- Who the hell did he think he was? She wouldn't let him leave that easily, not when he had been so intent on attacking her. Tavi followed after him, catching up easily with his lazy pace and her sudden feelings of hostility.

The girl slammed her shoulder in to his hip, hoping to disorient him, or stop him. She reached for his scruff again and grabbed for it. Her intent was to grab and pin him, to fully dominate and teach him a lesson, but it was entirely possible Tavi would fail to hold back on drawing blood. Through her teeth - and potentially a mouthful of Esaro - she muttered, The fuck was that.
Esaro's little rebellion came with a price to pay. He thought he would be able to get back to a safe place but Tavi didn't give him that chance. She slammed into him causing him to nearly collapse where he was. She easily brought him down. He felt a tight grip, it hurts. It felt like he was bleeding a little. But Esaro mind was clear for the moment, he basically forgot most of what happend before. Tavi wanted to know what just happend. He didn't have an answer for her.

"I-I don't know. There's something wrong with me. It started ever since that day." He said quickly all of what if knows of the matter. Esaro couldn't remember what he was about to do to her. All he saw was as if he skipped ahead in time. He wasn't struggling to escape but his body was shaking.

"Could you let me go?" He decided to say without thinking of how Tavi would react to that. Really all he wanted to do now was go to his hollow log. Or perhaps go see Luna.

Let's just go with everything! :D
She didn't want to let him up. His explanation lacked any credence; how could someone attack someone and then not remember? It was ridiculous. On that note, Tavi's grip tightened and her head pulled to one side, forcing Esaro closer to the ground and wedging him in to a more difficult position. No, she wouldn't accept that lame-ass answer. And no, she wasn't ready to let him up quite yet - but, he was submitting. There was little else she could do without actually causing him serious harm, and somehow Tavi didn't think that'd look good for her. Not many in the pack liked her since she didn't really know anyone, and beating up someone like Esaro (even if it was warranted) might cause others to dislike her more.

So, in the end, Tavi released her grip. Her tail lashed behind her, filled with nervous energy that had nowhere else to go. Well get over it. If you do that again I will kick your ass to death. Or, or something. Tavi's words were punctuated with a low rumbling, and when she pulled herself away from Esaro this time, she let out a brief snarl of frustration that was cut to pieces by the trees. Her fur prickled along her spine, and to relieve the tension in her body she tried to shake off as she walked, so most of them lay smooth again. As she paced away from him she kept an ear out, just in case, but eventually drifted off between the trees - mumbling to herself, Guy's gonna get himself killed one of these days...
Tavi just wasn't happy. He forced him more onto the ground but that didn't do much. He began to wonder what exactly did he do. He understood that if he ever does it again next time she'll really hurt him. Suddenly she decided to let him go and leaves. She left unhappy. In way he could understand. He hasn't done anything useful for her yet.

He got up and turned towards her direction. "But, what did I do?" However she was already gone. He didn't see any signs of something he has done. He thought about apologizing but with her he doubt he could use just words. He looked around as he was slowly calming down. He no longer felt the need to go to some place safe. He decided to back to the flower he was looking at. But, a little bit of sadness came to him when he noticed the flower was stepped on.

I suppose the thread ends here. It was fun! and thanks for the avatar too! I hope you had fun as well even if Tavi didn't exactly get what she wanted in the end :P
