An overwhelming amount of guilt overcame Regi the closer to Donnelaith he drew; though there was still a good span of territories between the pack he'd once belonged to and himself. How long had he been gone? Four months? He hadn't meant to be gone so long, in fact Regi hadn't meant to wander as far as he had but he doubt what he had meant to do would mean nothing when compared to what had happened. He'd gotten so wrapped up in exploring, and in looking for Behati whom had seemed to disappear that the next thing he knew he'd realized he'd breached Bracken Woods and entered in the lands outside the Teekon Wilds; and it wasn't like the trek had been an official one: he'd taken it upon himself to search for the caramel colored girl. Mostly because he had been worried but also because he had sought clarification on what they were to one another. Apparently, Casmir and her had been a thing or something but Behati had seemed plenty flirtatious with him (Regi) and the DiSarinno-Frostfur had wanted to settle the confusion he'd felt, after realizing that Casmir had been mad at him because the other boy had thought there'd been something between the two of them.

Being a teenager sucked; but he wouldn't let 'i'm a teenager and I make stupid mistakes and decisions all the time' become an excuse for his absence. When he ventured his way south to eventually reach The Sentinels he would own up to his absence like the man he was. Spring was upon them now, the temperatures decidedly warmer than they'd had, with the snows that had painted the landscape in the harsh colors of winter were all but gone; and hunting had been easier for Regi than it had previously, prey had begun to flock back to these Wilds and soon they would be brimming with life — good for the packs that inhabited it. It also meant that until he figured out his situation he would not go hungry.
