Ooc: Love Conquers All!!!

The sleek white she-wolf stood a respectful distance from the borders, contemplating if she was making the right decision. Her long legs wanted to run forwards, but her brain kept them from doing so. It had only been a while since her large pack, and she still had the scar on her flank from that. Her ears flicked, what would she do without wolves? Hunt and wander aimlessly without a purpose? She took a deep breath, for though she was a brave female warrior, she had always second-guessed herself and made the wrong decision. This would not be one of those days. Her bright amber eyes swept the territory once more before she let out a long howl. It was haunting and chilling, for her voice was beautiful in a ghostly way.
The female thought of her past as she waited, cringing at some points. Her silken white fur shudder when she thought of her alpha, the one who she had traded blows with. He had gotten her though, and she had left the pack because of this. She shook the thoughts from her head and focused back on the grounds ahead of her, waiting for a wolf.
*snags all new comer threads*

After working with his counselor trade and meeting other loners, Samuel was at the border once more, hearing the ghostly howl ring in his ears and drive him to the border. There, his grey eyes met a wolf with silken white fur and amber eyes, her distance respectful to the border of the Rosings.

He held his head high, though he was a mouse in a lion's body. He made his way close to the border, his large size towering over anything that lay next to him, his shadow covering the ground in a mound of grey. He let out a breath before stepping closer and raising his tails and hackles.

"Who are you, and what brings you to the border of the territory?" he asked, not giving away the name of the pack. Though the wolf in front of him did not seem bad, the boy was always cautious with what came from his mouth, never knowing who could use the information that spilled from his jaws.

He waited quietly for the wolf to answer.
The long-legged she-wolf smiled as a male wolf approached the borders. He was tall and she was small, but she had no fear. She replied with the truth, the only thing she believed should be spoken. " Salutations. I am Whisper Omen," she said, "And I am here to join your pack...I have been wandering around for months now, for I was disregarded by my pack because of my size, and that is not something a wolf should be judged by." Her tone darkened when she said the last two words. " I know that I am a blood-born pack wolf though and I want to be around others of my kind." Her blazing amber eyes focused on him and she smiled, inviting him to answer back. She wanted to be friendly to wolves that could be possible pack mates.

Her long black legs  yearned to shuffle the ground beneath her, she had excitement, but kept the poker face of any warrior. She stood in a respectful posture, tail low and ears perked, listening for the wolf's next command/question. She sized him up, trying to find out his rank, though she knew not all packs ranked by skill and size, unlike hers. Her long black ears flicked, whisking away small bugs. Whisper's amber eyes met his, waiting for his next reply.
Samuel heard the loner reply, her name was Whisper Omen. Such a strange name, but that was the least of the matter. She spoke of wanting to join the pack of the land, stating she was alone for months. Samuel would've sneered if he wasn't so aloof, he had been alone for almost a year before he found the Rosings.

Her smile was sharp, burning Amber eyes looked into his full grey ones. Her tone was dark as she spoke of not wanting to be judged by her size, Sanuel agreed silently.

Her last statement made him raise a brow. A blood born pack wolf? Weren't all the wolves like that? She wanted to be around the same kind, she was the same as any other loner wandering around.

He noted how she looked to him, almost trying to figure out his secrets and almost.... Intimidate him.

His brow was still arched in the slightest, her smile didn't seem very disarming. He held his own stature higher and spoke.

"You are no different from any other loner searching for land and interaction" he started off in a monotone, tail flicking to his left side. "Wolves are not judged by size here, but we do not function like any other pack" he said, checking over Whisper's face to see any expression.

Silently, he prayed for @Aaron to come along to help him out. Samuel wasn't found of warriors, though he offered Aaron that he was just because of his large mass. He looked towards the wolfess, she looked like one who would stir trouble.

However, he could not think of things he did not know of. So, he began his explanation of the Rosings.

"This pack functions in pairs first off, meaning you will have an assigned mate by the alphas. Your rank will not only depend on you, but on your mate as well. It functions as a team" he started off. "You will have one month to meet your potential mates before having the mayorship done. We have no fighters in this pack because we are peaceful. We have one belief above all, we believe that love is more powerful than fighting."

How would she abide by these rules, he thought.
Her eyes widened, had she come across sounding like a jerk? "I-I know I'm the same as any other loner, I just meant I would like to have a pack so I had other wolves that I could be close to." She stammered at first, and she dipped her head to him. She didn't want to sound like a wolf that thought she was better than others... "I apologize if that came across wrong." She said with a nervous smile. She usually didn't fret this much, but she was yearning for others to converse with and be around. She rejoiced inside and smiled with joy as he told her that wolves were not judged by their size. It was a breath of relief for her. His next words surprised her a bit, but it wasn't to bad. She hoped that most females got paired with someone whom they shared respect and friendship with at least."I can understand this, two heads are better than one." She nodded as he continued, it was much different from other packs. "I respect those rules, love is more powerful than any force." She said, wincing at the thought of her old packmate, Autumn. But he was gone now, and she had no time to think of him. She was surprised that they didn't have any warriors, but she knew that they had reasons. She liked their way of thinking, despite the fact she herself was a warrior.
sorry! our female spots are actually all filled right now ): we have 6/6 to keep the pairs even. (: actually the whole pack ranks are full :o

Aaron arrived soon after Samuel's call, but frowned to see that it was a wolf looking to join. The man listened for a moment, but focused more on the uneasy creases her face created as she spoke. The ideals of Rosings perhaps gave her some troubles- but she agreed regardless. The man revealed himself, his posture tall and stiff, as it usually was. He shook his head at both wolves, his tail flicking behind him. "I apologize if you came seeking a home, Rosings' borders are closed to new comers," he explained flatly, although was sincere in his disappointment for not being able to allow another beautiful woman into the pack.

He looked to Samuel, sending the man a short smile of greeting before looking to the other again. He appreciated the gray male. He was kind and strong willed, and also guarded the borders quite well. Aaron was proud to have such a wolf in his pack.

"I'm sorry for wasting your time," he muttered to the woman, watching her carefully.
The woman was disappointed and flicked her tail as he spoke, then gave him a bow of her head. "Thankyou anyways. It was nice to meet you two. I hope to see you around possibly..." Her eyes softened, a strange thing for the warrior. "I apologize if I caused you trouble." She bowed once more to both wolves and turned her tail, beginning at a slow trot and settling into a lightening quick sprint, her small body carrying like a bullet over the grounds. She contemplated where she should go next, for she did not know much of the packs in this area. Her lungs worked without effort, having a large chest cavity it was easy, and she was used to this kind of running. Her tongue lolled as she ran. onto the next pack....
Aaron had come to aid the large boy, he let out a breath and backed down as the alpha approached. His smile was gentle, Samuel returned it and watched his superior handle the situation.

Aaron spoke of the female tier being full, then apologizing for wasting the wolfess' time. She bowed her head in thanks, exchanging words before heading on her way.

As she was out of sight, the large boy nudged his alpha with his shoulder. "She tried to size me up" he said, laughing lightly.
Samuel turned to go once the stray female did, Aaron did not pursue her. She looked like she was leaving and nothing of her demeanor suggested she would hang around. He looked to his subordinate kindly, padding beside him with a relaxed posture. "You're kidding," he answered, amused. A deep chuckle rolled from his throat and his tail wagged behind her. He bent to sniff the ground as they walked, nudging his packmate and eyeing him with a playful gaze. "There are some foxes nearby," he commented, "Care to help chase them out?" He asked, but without waiting for a response he began towards them.

last for me!
Gonna take it as Whisper has left the thread

Seeing how Aaron was chuckling about the whole "sizing up" thing, Samuel laughed as well. His main attention though was on his superior's question. Did he wish to chase the foxes out that were nearby? "Of coarse Aaron" he replied, before heading out to go chase the little orange fluff balls outs.
